Percy Jackson/1D And The Creators Horn

As soon as Zayn stepped into the maze, he thought he'd see Alexis again, he didn't. No one showed up to help him or tell him what to do. He was faced with two metal doors that were somehow melted into the rock of this cave like maze.

To numbers where on the doors, one said "1, 876" The next number said "1,578"

The next door said "2,099"

The number below that said.. "0"

Zayn wondered what they meant. The numbers probably had some sort of meaning but for the life of him Zayn could not work out what they meant. After a lot of debating with himself, Zayn chose. The most deadly door.

He didn't even know that the numbers on the door meant "2,099" Demigods had gone through that door...

"0" had come out.

He may have pretty much unwittingly signed his death sentence. Zayn opened the door and stepped through. He gaped at what he saw, Mirrors, Mirrors everywhere. Reflecting himself in them, the reflection showed him how shocked and terrified he looked. Zayn thought looking at his reflections, do I really look that thin? Do I really have those big bags under my eyes?

Zayn realised with a frown it had been ages since his seen his reflection, when was the last time he had looked at himself properly with a mirror? He couldn't remember. As Zayn looked around he suddenly knew he was in some sort of Mirror Maze.

Nothing was there to tell him what to do but Zayn assumed he just had to find the exit, simple right? Zayn looked at all of the mirrors reflecting him and then suddenly came to the conclusion he couldn't find the entrance. Where ever he looked he saw his reflection, the mirrors were leaving him disorintaded.

He couldn't seem to gouge which reflection was a up close mirror and which ones were further away as they all seemed to reflect of each other. Zayn decided the best way forward was to put out his hands to feel if the mirrors were really there or not, it felt so strange, like he was blind.

He felt a couple of mirrors and slowly moved to the right, trying to find an entrance just as he realised his hands had gone through one of the so called mirrors that turned out it wasn't really there, the entrance. He heard a scream of pain, deep within the Maze but there was no mistaking that voice, he'd just been speaking to her like minutes ago but it already felt like hours.

Alexis!

Zayn started to run, still feeling like he was blind in that direction but the strange thing was he suddenly seemed to find his path through the maze of Mirrors easy. To easily. Then a memory of Alexis's voice echoed inside his head.

'Please remember, you'll see us 6 times, only on the 6th time you can try and rescue us'
'It'll use me to get to you'

Zayn skidded to a halt. The feeling to carry on was inviting, to inviting. This was to easy. It should of been harder at finding your way around a mirror maze. As soon as the thought of trap echoed in his mind, Alexis's screaming stopped. Everything was silent. The air was thick with tension.

Zayn almost walked head first into a mirror. Suddenly the maze didn't seem so easy anymore.
Who knew he could be this creeped out by his reflections? Zayn jumped as he thought he saw something in the corner of his eye, a strange shadow, as if someone was behind him. But when he blinked, it was gone

Zayn edged forwards feeling like someone had pored cold water down his back, this mirror maze was starting to seriously freak him out. Out of the corner of his eyes he seemed to see things move but when he tried to have a closer look there was nothing there. Zayn couldn't shake the feeling he was being watched and as he chose a random corridor of mirrors to walk through the hairs on his arms seemed to rise.

A prickly feeling entered his body and the feeling of foreboding that Zayn couldn't shake. The closer Zayn got to turning a corner the more the feeling of fear and dread escalated. Something told Zayn that something would happen when he turned that corner and what ever it was it wouldn't be pleasant.

Zayn took a deep breath and turned the corner, where he was faced with a big mirror? It was huge, much bigger than the others and a strange like must seemed to be circulating inside of it.
The strangest thing of all was his reflection was no where to be found. Zayn stared at the mirror and the mist in the mirror formed a pale floating face, his eyes were bright gold.

It made Zayn freeze where he stood.

"Ever wonder who's behind this Maze? Why no one gets out of here alive? What's beneath this ground you're standing on?" The face boomed, his voice holding ancient power that made Zayn almost fall to his knees.

Zayn suddenly felt sick and started to tremble with fear, how could just a voice affect him this much?

Thefacesaidtauntingly "I'll give you a clue demigod, ever heard of the big black pit? Where I scream and rot forever? Where my sons banished me to?"

Zayn stumbled backwards breathing fast.

Zayn stammered "Y-you mean Tartarus? What has that got to do with..."

Zayns eyes widened in realisation and fear "Tartarus? Tartarus is underneath this maze isn't it? You're one of the monsters that's trapped down there!!"

The face laughed cruelly, Zayns whole being shook with its laughter, its gold eyes flashing dangerously "Very clever Son of Hades, very clever"

Thefacechuckleddangerously "Down, down, they go"

Confusion then a terrifying realisation slammed into Zayn.

The first sentence of their prophecy....
