Icing on the Cake
Chapter One Hundred and Ninety-Seven
~197~
Everyone was seated in the reception hall when it was time for the wedding party to make their “grand” entrance. We decided to go with a very basic approach, and, two people at a time, walked into the reception hall and to the long table in the front to the song “Party Rock Anthem” by LMFAO.
After dinner was over, it was time for the dance. Again, being basic, Calum and mine’s first dance was “Thinking Out Loud” by Ed Sheeran.
After that song ended, I saw Jack go up to the DJ and say something to him, but I couldn’t make out what Jack said. I just knew that Jack would troll us by requesting a ridiculous song.
And I was right.
“NEVER SAY NEVER EVER EVER EVER.” The speakers said, revealing itself to be a throwback Justin Bieber song.
Calum and I briefly looked at each other and burst out into tears of laughter. Even though we both knew we were trash, we were really into the song.
Like a traditional, fun, young newlywed couple on their wedding dance, we went around the reception hall trying to get everyone on their feet and onto the dance floor.
After a few more songs, the song “Hold it Against Me” by Britney Spears came on.
“Where’s my husband?” I said, ready to grind it out on the floor.
“Here hubby.” Calum said to me, approaching me, knowing I would want to do a sexy dance with him.
The dry humping we did on each other while that song blared was most definitely not appropriate for children.
PG-13 at best.
Not that I cared. It’s my wedding dance and I’ll hump if I want to.
