It had been nearly two weeks since inseminating Julia.

Calum and I got home from the store, and we had a couple pregnancy tests.

“Want to take a pregnancy test?” I asked Julia, handing the box to her.

Julia cracked a smile like she was excited. She ran into the bathroom, and a minute later she walked out.

“Now we wait.” Julia said.

“This is always the longest three minutes.” I said. “Why am I so nervous?”

“Look, even if it’s negative,” Calum said, “It’s still early, so you could still get pregnant. And if not, we’ll just keep doing this until it’s positive.”

Julia smiled, like she was trying to conform to what he was saying, but it was obvious that she was still very anxious. But we all were.

“Do you want boy or girl?” Julia asked.

“Just a healthy baby.” I answered.

“I agree with Luke.” Calum said. “That doesn’t matter to me.”

“Oh my God how long has it been?” I exasperated.

“Not even a minute yet.” Calum answered.

“I can’t handle this anxiety!” I complained.

All three of us kept pacing until Calum’s phone starting blaring a throwback Green Day song ringtone, indicating his timer went off.

Julia ran over to the test and looked at it.

“I’M PREGNANT!” She screamed as we all started jumping, screaming and hugging.

I'm again sorry about the writer's block in "Prodigal" I am so busy literally I have class and I'm in a musical where I'm the lead so if I'm not in class I'm at rehearsal and the dance rehearsals are kicking my butt (it's really fun i'm loving it but i'm out of shape rip) and then I usually hang out with friends at midnight in 24 hour diners doing homework and eating fries so yeah

I have ideas for Prodigal and I think I have a good ending in mind it's just a matter of developing/writing it.
