“It’s not a big deal.” Calum defended.

“It’s not a big deal?” I shot back.

“No.” Calum said. “Why are you upset?”

“Why would I not be?”

“Sex isn’t all about that. It’s about feeling close and feeling a connection.”

“Fine.” I said. “Go make your … deposit.”

“Are you mad at me?”

“I’ll get over it.”

“Luke…” Calum said, starting to get upset. “What can I…do?”

“I don’t know.” I admitted. “I don’t know what I want right now.”

“Should we still be doing this?”

“Of course.” I confirmed. “Like I said, I’ll get over it.”

“You’re mad.”

“I’m embarrassed.”

“You have nothing to be embarrassed about.” Calum tried to comfort me. “I didn’t want you to feel bad. I love you, Luke. And I love you more than I lust.”

“I love you for trying to make me feel better,” I said, “But I really just need time to get over it. We’re good. I love you. Go make your deposit, I’ll come in tomorrow.”
