Icing on the Cake

I was thinking about what they said for a couple days. Calum and Julia both seemed really on board with the idea, but I wanted a little time to think about it.

Not going to lie, the whole idea of this did seem really cool. I loved the idea that we would know that the biological father of the baby would be either Calum or I, but we wouldn’t know which one. That’s really cool, actually.

The twins were almost four already, and I loved every second that I was with them.

“Let’s do it!” I said to Julia and Calum one night. “Let’s all three have a baby together!”

We were all really excited and all came together for a group hug.

“I’ll call the doctor and schedule a consultation.” Calum said as he picked up the phone.

“And you’re sure you want to do this?” I asked Julia one more time. After all, it was her that would have to go through a pregnancy and birth.

“I want to!” She confirmed.

“The doctor can get us in tomorrow!” Calum exclaimed.

“I am so excited!” Julia also exclaimed.

I started to get really excited as well. “I can’t believe we’re going to try to have another baby!” I said.

“How did we end up here?” Calum asked, purposely making a reference to our song “End Up Here.”

“You’re such a loser!” I said jokingly as we both laughed and then hugged.

I've hit writer's block on "Prodigal" so it may be just a little bit before I post on that again.
