Icing on the Cake
Chapter One Hundred and Forty-Eight

After we were finished talking to everyone, we had just a few minutes to sit down before starting the parade.
We would be leading the parade, and everyone in the front would be carrying a huge banner that was in a rainbow that said “Marriage Equality NOW!”
After hearing that girl’s story, I decided to grab a trans pride flag that was on a pole. I would hold the banner with one hand and hold up the flag with the other.
Looking out in all the people that were there, I saw someone that looked familiar.
“What are you doing, Luke?” Calum asked me as I stood up and walked right towards the edge of our fence that separated us from everyone else.
“Calum come here.” I said, somewhat seriously.
Calum walked over to me.
“Look.” I said while pointing.
“What am I looking at?” Calum asked, confused.
“It’s not what you’re looking at.” I clarified. “It’s who.”
“Who do you see?” Calum asked.
“You seriously don’t see her?” I asked.
“Oh my God.” Calum said after a moment. “Why is she here?”
“What is that bitch doing here?” I squealed. “What the hell does she want?”
I couldn’t believe who I was looking at.
It was Megan.
