Icing on the Cake
Chapter One Hundred and Thirty-Nine

Why doesn’t he feel passionately about this like I do?
I always feel passionate about LGBTQ+ rights, always, and I thought he would to. I remember last November when Donald Trump became President of the U.S. I literally felt sick because of his LGBT-phobia and I don’t even live there.
“Luke.” Calum said as he walked back towards me.
“Yeah?” I asked.
“Would it bother you if I invited Ben over?” He asked.
“For another sports thing?”
“Yea, there are playoffs, and…I didn’t want to do it if you felt uncomfortable with it.”
Did it bother me? Well…
“That’s fine.” I said.
“Okay, cool.”
“Are you sure Ben’s comfortable coming over?”
“What do you mean?”
“We sort of got into a big fight last time he was here with just you.”
“It’ll be fine.” Calum said. “He’s a dude, he doesn’t dwell on that kind of stuff.”
What does that mean?
“What does that mean?” I asked.
“He’s a straight dude.” Calum clarified. “He doesn’t dwell on that kind of stuff.”
Notes
