The next morning when I woke up Niall was gone. I knew he wouldn’t stay until I woke up. I looked at his clock to read that it was four in the afternoon. When I got up my head was hurting and I felt sick. I took off Niall’s t-shirt and put my dress back on. I grabbed my boots and jacket before I went down stairs.

The place was clean like the party never happened. I found our group in the kitchen, “good to see you awake Reid,” Louis smiled at me. I gave him the rude finger, “hungry?” Harry asked. I shake my head as he showed me a plate of scrambled eggs and bacon. My stomach did a back flip and I ran for the nearest bathroom.

After I finished throwing up I washed my face. As I was drying my face someone came into the bathroom, “Buttercup can we talk about last night?” Niall asked as he closed the door behind him. He was just in a white t-shirt and grey track pants. I gave him a small nod, “like I told you last night was a one off thing,” he started. I gave him another small nod, “we can’t be friends anymore Buttercup,” he tells me. I felt tears in my eyes, “so you’re just going to give up on us like that? After everything we been through?” I snapped. Niall nodded his head, “I don’t believe you,” I cried. Niall grabbed the door handle, “well you better start believing me. I not going to be there for you anymore,” he says. He walked out of the bathroom and slammed the door. I followed him out of the bathroom, “I’m not done with you Niall!” I yelled. Niall stopped and turned around to face me, “I am! I’m done with you Claire,” he yelled back. I pushed him, “you don’t just get to walk away after fourteen years without a reason,” I argued.

“I don’t need to give you a reason. What don’t you get? I don’t want anything to do with you. I’m done,” he spat. I pushed him again, “I get none of it. When I left we were happy and now it’s this,” I say as I motioned between Niall and me. Niall groaned, “that’s it Claire. You left!” Niall shouted. I pushed him again before he pin me against the wall, “you left Claire. Whatever happened we do everything together? Whatever happened to I’ll be by your side through thick and thin? You walked away from us first,” Niall tells me. He let me go, “I didn’t mean to,” I whispered. Niall walked away and I sat on the floor against the wall. I just stared at the floor, “Claire?” I heard Harry say.

“Go away,” I mumbled. Harry sat down next to me, “you know me and the others are still here for you,” Harry tells me. I leaned my head on his shoulder, “but if you guys told me what was going on with Niall. We would still been friends,” I point out. Harry wrapped his arm around me, “I know. I wanted to tell you, but you kept saying how much fun you were having in Australia. I thought we could handle it. I thought Niall was acting out, because you weren’t there to stop him. I also thought that if you found out that you would come home and I think that what Niall wanted,” Harry admitted.

“Only if you guys knew the truth,” I whispered. Harry kissed the side of my head, “the truth about what?” Harry questioned. I sighed, “I didn't like being in Australia. My host family were mean and didn't even care about me. I love the country, but that was all,” I confessed. Harry kissed the side of my head again, “I was looking for a reason to come home,” I added.

Harry and I stayed on the floor until Louis told me that we be going back to the apartment. I hugged Harry and Zayn goodbye and for some reason I wanted to say goodbye to Niall. When we got back to the apartment I had a shower and stayed in my room. I didn't want to talk to anyone or see anyone, but they kept seeing if I was alright. Liam came in my room and sat on my bed with me. I was looking out the window, “Claire everything going to be alright,” he says. I shake my head, “how? Niall was my best friend and now his gone,” I wondered. I looked at him, “he was the one person I never thought that would leave me and he did. Everyone I care about leaves me,” I say. Liam looked down, “but I know you’re strong and you will get through this,” he reassured me.

“That's because I had Niall,” I whispered. Liam placed his hand on my knee, “I'm going to change the subject. Lou tells me you nearly hooked up with a girl last night,” Liam smiled. I know he was trying to make me happy, but I really want to forget last night. Last night was probably the last time me and Niall were ever going to share a bed, “I was drunk and she ripped my stockings off,” I tell him. Liam laughed a little bit, “whoever thought a cheerleader wanted me,” I added.

“She was a cheerleader?” Liam questioned. I nodded my head, “wow you got guys and girls after you,” he says. I raised an eyebrow at him, “what guys wanted me?” I wondered. Liam smirked, “Brenton. I overheard a conversation he was having about you. He wanted to take you up to his room and show you a good time,” Liam informed me. I was shocked, “it's a good thing that you’re a virgin,” he smiled. I shake my head, “wait did you lose it to Max?” He asked. I shake my head again, “it's a good thing your girlfriend keeps to the girl code,” I smiled.

“Soph knows you’re not a virgin and who you lost it to?” Liam wondered. I nodded my head, “yep. I have known for about over a year now,” Sophia tells him as she walked into my room. She had two cups of tea in her hands, “Lou also knows,” she added. She put the cups of tea down on my bedside table, “Louis!” Liam yelled. Louis came running in, “yes Payno?” Louis wondered. Liam patted the bed next to him for Louis to sit. Louis sat next to him as Sophia sat next to me, “who did Claire lose her virginity to?” Liam asked me. Louis looked at me, “not telling,” Louis smiled.

“Louis you have to tell me or you be breaking the bro code,” Liam tells him. Louis shakes his head, “but that's Claire secret,” Louis points out. Liam looked at Sophia, “you say anything about that I'm your girlfriend and that I have to tell you anything. I will make you sleep on the couch,” she warned him. Liam pouted, “it was Niall,” I say. Liam was shocked, “really? When?” Liam asked.

“That night we all got really drunk for Niall's seventeen birthday party,” I tell him. Liam was still shocked, “but you two act like nothing happened,” Liam says. I nodded my head, “because how were we meant to tell you guys? When I told Soph what happened she thought me and Niall were in a relationship. Louis found out, cause Niall told him. We were just drunk and Horney and took it too far,” I explained. Liam nodded his head, “then not long after that Reid started going out with Max,” Louis added for me. I nodded my head, “does Max know?” Liam questioned. I shake my head, “and he is never going to know. He hates Niall,” I tell them.

“That don't surprise me. Max hates me and he really hates the people that are close to you,” Sophia points out. I nodded my head, “yes I know my boyfriend has issues,” I smiled. Only if they knew the half of it, “I think you need to date Fred,” Louis says. I looked at him, “Brenton just wants to get into my knickers,” I tell him. Louis smiled as he nodded his head, “but I know Fred will keep you around. He taken a real shine to you. He kept asking questions about you. Zayn also told me that he likes you,” Louis tells me.

“So does Jess the cheerleader. So you have choices,” Sophia smiled. I shake my head, “I'm still with Max,” I says. They just kept smiling at me, “Lou game of FIFA?” Liam asked him. Louis nodded his head before they left my room. Sophia handed me a cup of tea, “where's Perrie?” I wondered. I take a sip of tea, “sleeping. Apparently her and Zayn made out last night,” she replied.

“Really? Because when I dared Zayn to kiss her. He said he couldn't,” I tell her. Sophia shrugged her shoulders, “maybe he likes her. I don't know really, but I think she has sucked him off tho,” Sophia tells me. I nodded my head, “now I know we made you smile, but do you want to talk?” Sophia asked. I shrugged my shoulders, “Niall don't want me in his life no more and that it,” I say. I felt tears in my eyes, “I'm just so confused. Last night after Harry and Louis put me to bed in his room. He came in. He was being mean, but when I said that just come back here to the apartment. He was concerned about my safety. He told me to just stay in his bed and he would sleep somewhere else. He left, but came back a bit later. He laid right next to me in his bed. He thought I was a sleep, so he grabbed my hand and told me that he was sorry on how he feels about me. When he knew I was awake I asked him if we could work this out. He said that he wanted to, but don't know if he can. Then after I said that I couldn't go back to sleep. He was making jokes about fucking him would put me to sleep. It was like we back to normal and nothing happened. He even gave me a t-shirt to sleep in. He also cuddled me as we went to sleep. Then this morning it was back to him being mean,” I admitted. Sophia was thinking, “I know he hates you right now, but there must be something still there. Just give him some time,” she tells me. I gave her a small nod, “and maybe try to hang out around him. I know he might say something mean, but the rest of us still talk to him. So you’re going end up in the same room together,” she added. I sighed, “can I have some time too?” I asked. Sophia nodded her head before we started talking about something else.

Days passed and I unpacked my room and got myself a new phone while everyone went to school. It sucked that I start in the New Year and be a semester behind everyone else. I asked the school about catching up in my lessons, but they told me no. I also found out that everyone would be going home for Christmas which meant that I'll be spending Christmas alone. Sophia said I could spend Christmas with her and her family, but I told her that I'll be fine. I also found out that we would be celebrating Louis birthday early since they won't see each other when they get back home.

It was the afternoon of Louis birthday party and I was getting ready in my room. I put on a white long sleeve t-shirt, black skinny jeans and my floral black Vans. I did my eyes with gold shimmer and left my hair down. I grabbed my jacket with my handbag and my black scarf.

I met everyone in the lounge room and Niall was there as well. I looked over Niall and he was wearing black pants, white t-shirt, a grey hoddie and a black jacket. He also hid his hair under a grey beanie. Sophia did tell me that he would be coming, but I didn't think that he would show up. It only just been over a week since the last time I saw him. He looked at me as I walked up to Harry, “ready for tonight Reid?” Harry smiled. I shake my head, “you know me and theme parks don't mix,” I smiled.

“Yeah I know, but the birthday boy wants to go. I'll hold your hand on the scary rides,” Harry tells me. I nodded my head, “you better,” I say. Harry wrapped an arm around me, “so Lou told me that you’re staying here for Christmas?” Harry wondered. I nodded my head again, “well dad in the Bahamas. So no one be home anyway,” I tell him.

“Yeah, but you could stay with one of us,” he says. I shake my head, “I'm going to be alright. I really don't feel like traveling anytime soon,” I reassured him. Harry gave me a small nod, “who’s ready to go?” Liam asked. We all nodded our heads, “good, cause it going to take an hour to get there,” he added.

We all got into two cars and I went with Liam, Sophia and Zayn. Niall went in his car with Louis, Harry and Perrie. I sat in the back with Zayn while Sophia and Liam were in the front, “so Zayn what made you come in my car?” Liam asked him. Zayn smirked, “Perrie probably would have touched me,” he replied. We all laughed, “you would have loved it,” I teased. Zayn pushed me, “I don't want a relationship at the moment,” he says.

“Then why do you keep leading her on and hooking up with her?” Sophia questioned. Zayn sighed, “I don’t. I keep pushing her away, but she comes back for more,” Zayn admitted. I could tell that he was telling the truth, “but how far have you two gone?” I wondered. Zayn bit his bottom lip, “she sucked me off,” he replied. I nodded my head, “did you enjoy it?” I asked. Zayn nodded his head, “do you want to fuck her?” I continued. Zayn nodded his head again, “but if I do. I think she would think that we are together,” Zayn tells me.

“She already thinks you’re together,” Sophia tells him. Zayn was a bit shocked, “really? Even after I told her that I don't want too?” he questioned. Sophia nodded her head yes, “I tried to tell her, but she really likes you,” Sophia says. I felt bad for Perrie, “can we change the subject?” Zayn groaned. We all nodded our heads, “oh Reid. Fred and Brenton asked me for your number, but I told them to fuck off,” Zayn smiled.

“Really? Why do they want me?” I wondered. Zayn shrugged his shoulders, “I think it cause you’re the new girl and Brenton probably wants to get back at Niall,” Zayn tells me. I know Sophia was smiling even tho I couldn't see her, “why does Brenton want to get back at Niall?” I questioned. Zayn smirked, “for Niall stealing his girl,” Zayn informs me. I nodded my head, “but you have Max,” Zayn added. I nodded my head again, “but if you really want to get back at Niall. I would go out with Brenton. Niall and him can't stand each other. They got into a brawl the other day about something and they won’t tell us what,” Zayn tells me.

The rest of the car ride to the theme park was silent. When we got out after we parked the car. I noticed that we were right next to the beach. We waited for the others to get there, “they were behind us most of the way. Where can they be?” Liam questioned. We all shrugged our shoulders, “maybe Niall got them lost,” Sophia says. Sophia wrapped her arm around Liam, “well if they don't come soon. I'm going in without them,” Zayn tells us. We agreed with him, “we’re here,” I heard Niall say. We all looked in his direction, “Harry needed to pee,” he added. Harry agreed with him, “I couldn’t hold it in,” he smiled.

We went into the theme park and got ourselves a wristband, so we could go on the rides how many times we like. Louis wanted to go on one of the rollercoasters first and I was already scared. We lined up, “pick a partner,” Harry tells us. Sophia and Liam picked each other while Harry and Louis did as well. I was about to go on with Perrie, but she picked Zayn. So I was left with Niall, “Harry what happened to you holding my hand?” I wondered. Harry just smiled at me, “can't upset the birthday boy,” he says. I rolled my eyes, “it's not his birthday yet,” I mumbled. Niall stood next to me, “it be alright Buttercup. I won't push you off,” Niall smiled.

We all got seated on the rollercoaster, “now don't scream. I want to hear for the rest of the night,” Niall tells me. I gave him the rude finger, “Buttercup I already know that you want to fuck me,” he smirked. I shake my head as I ignored him. The rollercoaster started moving and I already wanted to scream. I really hate heights and things I’m not in control of. It started going up a very steep and very high part of the track. I griped the safety bar as Niall started laughing at me, “calm down Buttercup. It only just started,” Niall teased. I looked at him before I stuck my tongue at him. What shocked me is that Niall grabbed my hand, “you can hold my hand,” he smiled. I didn't know what to think until we got to the top. I screamed as we went down and then back up. Niall squeezed my hand until the ride was over. He let go as soon as we stopped, “it wasn't that bad Buttercup,” he teased. He was smiling from ear to ear, “next one,” Louis beamed. I slowly get off the rollercoaster, “hurry up Reid,” Liam tells me. Everyone left me behind as they started walking to the next ride.

When I got to the next one it was a smaller rollercoaster, but the carriage spun around in circles. Louis, Harry, Liam and Sophia went on together and they stuck Sophia and Louis in the middle. Next was Niall, Zayn, Perrie and I and they stuck me and Perrie in the middle. Niall sat next to me, “sorry Buttercup you’re next to me again. Zayn wanted to sit next to Perrie,” Niall whispered in my ear. I looked at him, “yeah right. You just wanted to sit next to me since you can't get enough of me,” I say. Niall just laughed, “you wish princess,” he smiled. I was taken back when Niall said ‘princess’. He hasn't called me that in years. The carriage started moving and again I started panicking. Niall grabbed my hand again, but put it between us.

I was glad when the ride was over and we could get off, “Sophia wants a toilet break,” Liam tells us. So I went with Sophia to the bathroom, “so?” She questioned after she went to pee. I raised an eyebrow, “so is Niall being nice?” She finished. She washed her hands, “um he keeps holding my hand,” I confessed. Sophia was surprised, “and he really hasn't said anything mean. He made a joke that I wanted to fuck him after I gave him the finger,” I added. Sophia laughed a little, “it good to see you two are getting along,” she smiled.

We went on a couple of more rides and Niall kept sitting next to me. He also kept holding my hand, so I wouldn't be scared that much. I was confused about how Niall was acting towards me. It was like nothing happened and he didn't tell me that he was done with me. I also think the others are making us going on rides together since Zayn said he didn't want to lead Perrie on.

We decided to get something to eat and we all went for pizza. We all sat in the pizza bar in the theme park and again Niall sat next to me. Well Liam made him since Liam wanted to be on the end next to Sophia. As we were eating everyone talked about going home part from me and Niall. That's when I found out that Niall wasn't going home either. Well his dad would be with my dad, but what about his brother Greg? I had so many questions going through my head and I didn't want to ask Niall. We are getting along and I don't want to ruin it for everyone, “Claire you should invite Brenton around for Christmas. His not going home either,” Harry tells me.

“And why would I do that?” I questioned. Harry smiled at me, “so you can have fun for Christmas,” Harry smirked. I shake my head, “do you all forget that I'm with Max?” I asked. They all shake their heads, “I wasn't talking about naughty stuff,” Harry says. I nodded my head, “sure you weren’t Styles. And guys I'll be alright,” I tell them. Louis nodded his head, “when we call you on Christmas don't be too drunk,” he joked.

“But everything fun when I'm drunk,” I pouted. Zayn laughed, “yeah and Jess won't be there to touch you,” Zayn teased. I stuck up my rude finger, “what does Jess have to do with this?” Niall wondered. We all looked at him, “Jess tried multiple times to hook up with Claire. There was seven minutes in heaven she tried to make Claire play and don't get me started when I found them on the dance floor,” Harry tells him. Niall seemed surprised, “I had to carry Claire out of there before Jess ripped off more clothes,” Harry added. I hid my face in my hands, “I don't need to be reminded,” I mumbled.

Everyone dropped the topic about me and Jess before we finished eating. Louis wanted to go on a ride that shot you up in the air. I was watching other people go on it and I wanted to run away, “can I give this a miss?” I whined. They all shake their heads, “c’mon it be fun,” Louis smiled. I sighed, “I gonna give it a miss. I don't want my pizza to come back up,” Niall tells us. They all looked at him, “fine you two can give this a miss, but you better go on the next one,” Louis says. Niall and I nodded our heads before we walked away.

We sat on a bench watching the others line up. The line for the ride was long and I knew they were going to be awhile. It felt awkward sitting next to Niall, “so are you going to invite Breton around for Christmas?” Niall asked me unexpectedly. I shake my head, “good, cause he just want to get into your pants,” he says. I looked at him, “and how do you know that?” I questioned. Niall laughed a little bit, “I have known him a lot longer than you,” he tells me.

“Can I ask why you’re not going home for Christmas?” I wondered. Niall shakes his head, “just I don't want to,” he snapped. I looked the other way, “are you going to be alright on Christmas?” He asked much calmer. I shrugged my shoulders, “I know Christmas is a hard time for you. Maybe you should go with Sophia or Harry,” he tells me. I shake my head, “I don't want to,” I snapped this time. I looked at Niall, “don't get shitty with me,” he says. I shake my head, “I’m shitty with you, because I could have gone home. But I want to spend Christmas with you,” I angrily tell him. I stood up and started walking away from him. Niall followed me, “Buttercup where are you going?” he asked.

“Away from you,” I snapped. I knew people were looking at Niall and I and I really didn’t care, “Buttercup just stop,” Niall tells me as he grabbed my arm. I pushed him, “just don’t Niall. I’m so confused with you tonight. The last time I saw you. You told me that you were done and now your acting like nothing happened. You can’t do that,” I tell him. I knew I was crying, “come with me,” he says. He grabbed my hand and started pulling me somewhere.

We went out of the theme park and stood on the beach, “Buttercup I know I told you that I was done with you. But I also remembered that you wanted me to try and work this out. I’m trying,” Niall admitted. I slowly nodded my head before Niall pulled me to him. I rested my head under his chin as he wrapped his arms around me and I did the same to him. We looked at the ocean, “I missed you too,” he whispered. I looked up at him and he was still looking at the ocean, “Ni,” I started. He smiled a little, “what's going to happen to us?” I wondered.

“I really don't know. I have so much hate towards you, but I miss times like this,” he confessed. He looked at me and our noses touched, “I wish that I didn't feel like this. I wish what happened to me never did,” he added. I placed my hands on each side of his neck, “what happened Ni?” I asked. He shakes his head, “I'm never going to tell you or anyone. So just drop it,” he tells me. I knew he was getting angry, “ok,” I whispered. Niall stepped away from me, “we better get back,” he says.

We just got back as Louis and Harry got off the ride, “that was so much fun,” Louis smiled. I smiled back at him, “you two should really go on it,” he added. I shake my head, “please. I do anything you want,” Louis begged. I looked at Niall as he smirked, “I want you to walk around in a tutu,” Niall tells him. Louis shakes his head, “but you said anything I want,” Niall says.

“That was for Claire,” Louis points out. Niall pouted, “but that's what I want too,” I tell Louis. Niall started laughing, “really?” Louis questioned. I nodded my head, “alright, but you have to go on the ride first,” Louis tells me. I grabbed Niall before we went to line up.

As we were waiting I started to freak out, “Buttercup you need to breathe,” Niall tells me. He put his hands on my shoulders, “you can back out,” he added. I shake my head, “no. I want to see Louis in a tutu and it better be pink,” I say. Niall laughed a little bit, “I was thinking rainbow,” he smiled. I smiled back as we moved in the line, “God the boys are going to love him,” I joked. I noticed that I calmed down, “maybe just one,” Niall says. I was confused, “what are you talking about?” I wondered. Niall smirked at me, “you tell anyone and I'm a dead man. Harry likes Louis,” Niall tells me. I was shocked, “really?” I questioned. Niall nodded his head, “I have seen them do stuff princess,” he admitted.

“Do they know that you know?” I asked. Niall shakes his head, “when I found them. I quickly left and nearly drank a whole bottle of something,” he tells me. I laughed a little bit, “what were they doing?” I wondered. Niall shakes his head, “let's just say it was more than making out,” he says. I raised an eyebrow, “let's just say I’ve seen Louis dick in Harry’s mouth,” he whispered in my ear. Niall placed his hand on my back, “I bet you wished it was yours,” I teased. Niall shakes his head, “I like girls,” he smiled. I didn't know we were next until the guy came up to us, “are you ready?” Niall asked me. I shake my head, “it be over before you know it,” he smiled. The guy strapped us in, “is it too late to get off now?” I wondered. Niall nodded his head as he grabbed my hand. As soon as he did that we flung up into the air and I screamed. The ride slowly stopped at the top, “Ni I want to get off now,” I cried. He squeezed my hand, “Buttercup come closer to me,” he tells me. I moved my face closer to him, “what?” I questioned. Niall kissed me, “stop panicking,” he smiled. I didn't noticed that the ride went down until the guy was un-strapping us.

We met up with the others at the bench, “Reid I heard you scream,” Zayn teased. My mind was still going over the fact Niall kissed me, “I think she still shaken up,” Perrie says. Perrie hugged me, “Lou where's your tutu?” Niall asked him. Louis laughed, “need to buy one first,” Louis replied.

Perrie held my hand as we went into shop to get Louis tutu. Niall found a rainbow coloured one, “Buttercup found one,” he smiled. I nodded my head, “guys I wanted a pink or a red one,” Louis pouted. I shake my head, “I want rainbow,” I tell him. Niall bought the rainbow coloured tutu and Louis put it on. We all laughed at him, “I'm also going to count this as your Christmas present you two,” Louis tells us. Niall and I both nodded our heads, “can I get a picture then?” I asked. Louis nodded his head as I got my phone out, “you and Niall got to be in the picture,” Louis says. I hand Harry my phone before Niall and I stood next to Louis. Niall and I kissed both of Louis cheeks and my thoughts went back to Niall kissing me, “I think we should do some side shows now,” Liam says. We all agreed with him before we started walking.

We get to the side shows and everyone was looking at Louis, “can’t a guy do something nice for his girlfriend without getting stared at,” Louis said a bit too loud. Louis wrapped his arm around me and I looked straight at Harry. He didn’t look happy, “so where is your girlfriend Lou?” I teased. Louis glared at me, “well if she not next to me. I won't win her something,” he tells me. I laughed, “like you can,” I say. Louis went up to a man and gave him some money to knock down some bottles. He threw the balls and only knocked down half of the bottles. The man gave him a little teddy bear, “told you couldn't do it,” I smiled. Louis threw Harry the bear, “then you don't get it,” Louis smiled back.

“Ok I show you how it really done,” Liam boasted. He paid the man and also only knock half of the bottles down. Zayn tried next and again he also only knocked half of them down. Harry didn't want to try, “what about you Ni?” Sophia asked him. Niall gave the man some money and Niall managed to knock down all the bottles. The man gave Niall a big elephant, “now that's how it done boys,” Niall smiled. All the boys gave him the finger, “now no need to be like that,” he added. He threw me the big elephant, “merry Christmas,” he mumbled. Sophia and Perrie smiled at me, “now what?” Zayn asked. We all looked at Louis, “well it's ten. We can go home or walk along the beach,” he suggested.

We all went onto the beach and sat down, “the year nearly over,” Liam says. I played with the sand, “but we come back a day before New Year's Eve. So we all can party together,” he added. I smiled, “but we're all underage,” I point out. They all laughed, “trust me princess we will be drinking,” Niall smiled. I smiled back, “are we going to go to Time Square?” I wondered. Everyone shakes their head, “too many people, so we're going to stay at the frat house,” Zayn tells me. I felt disappointed since I always wanted to go to Time Square for New Year's Eve. I hugged the elephant Niall gave me, “so when Max coming?” Harry asked me. I noticed Niall mood changed straight away, “a week before the new term starts,” I replied.

“And he moving into the dorms. His such a wanker,” Liam says. I always felt uneasy when they talked about Max like that. I want to defend him, but it true what they say about him. Niall stood up, “we better head back. It's going to take us about an hour to get back,” Niall says. We all stood up and headed for the cars.

Zayn and Harry went into Niall's car, so they can go straight back to the frat house. I sat in the back between Louis and Perrie in Liam’s car, “that was so much fun tonight,” Louis smiled. I nodded my head as I played with the stuff elephant in my lap, “I noticed Niall was nice to you tonight,” Perrie says. I nodded my head, “I also noticed that you disappeared when we went on that sling shot ride,” she added. I nodded my head again, “you going to tell us where you two went?” Louis wondered. I shake my head, “please,” Louis and Perrie begged.

“Alright he upset me as we waited for you guys, so I walked away. Niall caught up to me and told me that his trying to work things out with us,” I tell them. They all smiled, “I told you,” Sophia says. I hid my face into the stuff elephant, “I think you should call your elephant Horan,” Perrie tells me. I groaned into the elephant, “guys leave her alone. She got a lot going through her head at the moment,” Sophia tells them.

When we got back to the apartment I went straight into my room. Sophia came in with a cup of tea and sat on my bed. She handed me the cup of tea, “what did Niall say to upset you?” She asked. I put the cup of tea down on my headboard, “nothing really. I just snapped at him when he said I should go home for Christmas. So I told him the truth that I came here to spend Christmas with him. Then I told him I was confused on how he was acting tonight. He took me to the beach so we could talk. He told me that he was trying to get rid of this hate for me,” I admitted. Sophia grabbed my hand, “then take baby steps with him,” she tells me. I nodded my head, “Soph he kissed me when we were on that sling shot ride,” I whispered.

“What? Really?” She questioned. I gave her a small nod, “which confused me more. Niall and I have kissed before, but that was because we were drunk or it was a dare,” I say. Sophia hugged me, “I really don't know what to say about that,” she mumbled.

Sophia left me so I could go to bed. I changed into my pj’s and got under the covers. My phone went off, so I grabbed it. I had a message from an unknown number:

Buttercup it's Niall. I wanted to talk to you about tonight

I quickly saved his number into my phone before I messaged him back:

Me: What about tonight?

Ni: When I kissed you. I only did it so you would stop freaking out.

Me: I knew that.

Ni: good cause I didn't want you to get the wrong idea. You have fuckhead Max to think about.

Me: I know.

Niall didn't message me after that, so I put my phone on charge. I laid there awake hugging the elephant Niall gave me. I was happy that Niall was trying to work things out between us, but I knew we had a long way to go.
