14. Horrible
Niall’s POV
“Daddy I wanna wear these.’’ Tori tells me as she points to the set of pajamas. I gave her two options, she chose the pink ones with polka dots over the purple with the stripes. Which didn’t matter to me either way though.
‘’Alright, you need some help or can you do it?’’ I ask as I pick up the towel she had. ‘’I can do it.’’ She tells me. Tori has a pink laundry hamper in her room, so that’s where the towel ended up once I took it over there.
As I turned back to Tori’s direction, I could see she had almost gotten her shirt on. She surprised me a little, she done that fast. Her shorts already on too. ‘’Okay Daddy.. Tuck me in!’’ She says as she holds her arms up for me.
I reach her and pick her up, kissing her cheek as I walk to the bed. I lie her down after pulling the covers back. ‘’Daddy.. I can say my ABC’s.’’ She mumbles as I sit on the edge beside her. ‘’I know, love. Did Ms. Diana teach you some more numbers today?’’ I ask. She nods lightly as she grips my hand with both of hers.
She was lying on her side. She slept that way most of the time. ‘’Daddy.. can I sing my ABC’s to you?’’ She asks. ‘’Baby.. I know you know them. I believe you.’’ I tell her. Tori’s known them for a year and a half, but she was just happy since she can do them with out stopping, that’s what Diana told me earlier at least. They had a short session, Diana had to go to the doctor so she couldn’t stay as long as usual.
“Please.’’ She whines lightly. ‘’Okay.. fine.. sing.’’ I laugh a little as she nods with that cute smile of hers. ‘’A,B,C,D,E,F,G,H,I,J,K,L,M,N,O,P,Q,R,S,T,U,V,W,X,Y..Z! Now I know my ABC’s.. but next time Daddy’s gonna sing with me!’’ She squeals as she finishes, adding her little end edition to it.
‘’Good job.’’ I say as I lean down and kiss her temple. ‘’G’night..Love you princess.’’ I whisper. ‘’Good night. Love you too, Daddy.’’ She smiles as she gives me a kiss on my check like she always does. I stood up and tucked the covers around her, her smile making me smile.
I turn off her lamp before going to the TV that was mounted on the wall. It was small, but big enough for her. I turned it on and picked up the remote off the floor. I went to the channel that plays the cartoons all night, Nick Toons, and turned it up a little so she could hear it. SpongeBob was currently on, and Tori loved that.
Tori blew me a kiss before I turned off the light. I just smiled and pretended like I caught it. I shut her door, but not all the way. Like always, I leave it cracked. Now, Taylor’s turn. I sigh to myself as I walk down the hall to Taylor’s room.
Jana’s POV
I just got off the phone with Harry. And I feel completely stupid. Niall was right. But now he hates me so it doesn’t even matter anymore. Harry told me exactly what they done, and that was exactly what Niall told me. I got a little loud, but only because I was afraid Niall wouldn’t want to talk to me anymore.
I soon found myself turning off all the lights downstairs and making my way to the bedroom. It was almost 10p.m. I assume Niall was giving Taylor a bath like I asked, but I didn’t check.
Quietly, I open Tori’s door and she smiles as I turn the light on. ‘’Hey sweetie.’’ I mumble as I walk over to her. ‘’Hi Mama..’’ she says as I lean down and kiss her cheek softly. ‘’Good night angel, love you,’’ I whisper. ‘’Good night Mama.. love you too.’’
Before long, I was in the bed myself. I was wearing one of Niall’s shirts, it was still a little big despite my stomach. They’ve always been big on me though, the hem reaching my mid thighs, but since Niall worked out more, his shirts will still be big on me.
I closed my eyes as I pulled the cover up to my shoulders. I was on my back. But nothing could help the pain I had in my heart. I was stupid. I was being childish. And it could effect everything now..
And I hated myself for it. Absolutely hated myself.
