That night..

Niall’s POV
“Tori.. baby?’’ I say as I open the bathroom door. She was in the bathroom in the hall way since we didn’t let them go in ours. There’s things they could find, things I don’t want to even attempt to explain.

‘’Daddy.’’ She smiles as she looks at me from the bathtub. ‘’You okay?’’ I ask. She nods a little as she splashes around in the bubbles. I didn’t like to leave her unattended, but she’s older now. She can do more things alone. I just make sure I check on her as much as I can.

‘’Okay.. don’t take too much longer, Taylor’s gotta get in there.’’ I tell. ‘’Okay.’’ She nods again after glancing at me. I shut the door, but not completely. I left a crack, just in case. I know its not healthy for as a parent to think things like that could happen, but at least I care.

‘’Niall?’’ I hear my name being called from downstairs. So, like the good husband I am, I hurry down the stairs. Once I’m half way, and I could see Jana sitting on the couch, I replied. ‘’Yes my love?’’

‘’C’mere. Now.’’ She says, her voice sounding not so pleased. ‘’Okay.’’ I say as I make my way over to her. She was sitting on the couch, in her hands was a magazine. Oh lord, what now. Its always something. I’ve told her millions of times to stop reading those fake articles, but she doesn’t listen to that.

‘’Yeah?’’ I ask casually, even though I knew something was up. ‘’Are you cheating on me?’’ She whispers as I sit down beside her. ‘’God no. Why would think that?’’ I ask, sorta shocked she would even imagine that.

‘’Picture’s worth a thousand words.’’ She mumbles as she throws the magazine in my lap. I pick it up and see that it was a photo of me, and a girl with dark hair walking beside me, covering her face.

The article was titled “Hollywood’s Next Cheating Husband” But I assure you that I’m not cheating on Jana. I would never do that to her or to my kids, or to myself even. ‘’Jana.. you have to believe everything don’t you.’’ I mumble.

‘’Niall.. the picture.’’ She says, sniffing lightly. ‘’Baby, that’s Selena.’’ I tell her. ‘’No its not.’’ She whines gently, a sign that she was holding back tears. ‘’Baby, yes it is. I went with Harry the other day to the Airport to pick her up. All they did was crop Harry out of the picture, I promise. You can even ask both of them.’’ I protest as I throw the magazine on the ground as I stand up.

‘’I don’t believe you,’’ She whispers. ‘’Of course you don’t. Because you’d rather read some fake gossip magazine than your own husband, wouldn’t you?’’ I ask. She doesn’t look at me, she just stares at the floor.

“Jana.. when we got married, I swore you were the only person I’d ever love. And that’s true baby.. I do love you. With my entire heart. No one can change that. Those stupid magazines are trying to ruin us, and I don’t want that to happen. I love you, and I know you love me. So you should believe me over those fucking lies. Because I’m not lying!’’ I say, raising my voice a little.

She just shakes her head lightly from side to side. Oh fuck, not this shit again. She’s not leaving me again. And if she think she is, she’s fucked up because she will not leave me. I refuse to allow her to leave me again.

‘’I’m going to get Tori dressed and put her in the bed.. when you decide to believe me.. I’ll be waiting in the bed.’’ I mumble before walking off towards the staircase. No words come from her. No sounds. No nothing.

But I’m not lying. I swear on my life I’m not. Jana is the only person I love. I would never do anything to hurt her. Because if I did I would be hurting my kids and myself, and I don’t want us to tear apart again. We won’t. Because I’m telling her the truth.

One week ago I went with Harry to the airport to pick up Selena. I swear all those fucking magazine editor’s did was crop Harry out of the fucking picture. They just want to try to ruin my marriage just because the world’s pissed that I’m taken.

Well fuck the world. Its my life. And no matter how hard they try, they can’t ruin it again. I won’t let that shit happen ever again. The lies and the rumors are stupid. I deserve happiness just like everyone else in the world, now don’t I? Just because I was walking beside Selena doesn’t mean she fucks me. Damn, I’m sick of this shit.

And I’m sick of Jana believing everything she fucking reads. I’m completely done with those fucking liars. But I’ll deal with that later, I have to get my Princess dried off.

As I walk into the bathroom, I could hear Jana’s voice from downstairs, she was talking on the phone I assume, based on her responses. But I ignore her and focus on Tori.

‘’Daddy.’’ She smiles as she goes to stand up in the water. ‘’Hold on, be careful.’’ I say as I grab a towel from the rack. She leans her hand on the side of the bathroom, steading herself while she waits for me.

I get to her and I grab her waist. She giggles a little, I probably tickled her. I stand her on the rug and she shivers as I wrap the towel around her. It was pretty cold in here, and the cool air hitting her wet skin probably didn’t help her much.

‘’Go to your room, I’ll be there in just a minute.’’ I tell her as I kiss her forehead. She nods lightly before walking towards the door. Soon, she leaves the bathroom and walked to her bedroom.

I lean over and reach into the soapy water to grab the plug. I sit it on the side of the bathtub as the water begins to drain out. I make my way to the door. As I get to the sink, I stop and grab Tori’s hairbrush before continuing down the hall way to her room.

And as I listened, I could hear Jana yelling into her phone. There’s no telling who she was talking to, but I knew she wasn’t going to talk to me anytime soon.
