Cheeky (Chapter 26)
(Tasman’s P.O.V)
“Thank you so much for your wonderful hospitality,” Ann grinned while giving each and every one of us a hug.
“It was a pleasure having you both over….do come visit again soon,” my mum smiled. I am glad that my parents are getting along extremely well with Harry’s mum.
Technically, it’s not hard to get along with Ann or my dad. They are both really kind people. My mum on the other hand….she is wonderful and I love her to death….but trust me you don’t want to get into her bad side. Trust me.
“Honey could you walk Ann and Harry off?” my mum asked me and I nodded in reply while heading to the front door.
“I knew you two will sound absolutely amazing together,” Ann praised and once we reached the front door, she turned around and gave me another bear hug.
I have to agree with Ann….Harry and I did sound really good together. I wasn’t surprise because Harry’s got the most amazing voice I’ve ever heard and I could listen to it all day.
“Thank you sweetheart…..for everything,” she whispered. Her voice sounded serious and full of gratitude. I don’t exactly know what she is thanking me for because I don’t remember doing anything.
“Harry dear….I will go and wait for you in the car,” Ann stated while rushing away towards where Harry has parked his car.
“Umm…..tonight was nice,” Harry started while scratching the back of his neck awkwardly. I had to hold on my laugh…..because he looked so awkward and that doesn’t happen every day.
“Yeah….tonight was nice,” I copied his line. “Your mum and dad are really good at cooking,” he continued. What is wrong with him all of a sudden? He acted like his usual self before…..why is he acting awkward now?
“Harry why are so awkward all of a sudden?” I asked while laughing because I can’t hold it anymore.
“Awkward….what are you talking about? I mean what other stuff was I supposed to say?’ he chuckled. “I don’t know….some smart comment or cheeky comment or whatever you normally do,” I nudged him and he laughed.
“I do not make cheeky comments….that is not even my style,” he stated seriously and I started to laugh even more. “What? Why are you laughing?” he asked with one of his eyebrows rising.
“Style…. your last name is Style and you just said that…cheekiness is not your style….get it?” I questioned while still laughing.
“Your sense of humour is down the drain,” he shook his head at me, but I can tell he is fighting his smile. “So you are Mr Lee’s daughter huh?” he questioned.
“Yeah I am….you have a problem with that?” I raise one of my eyebrows. “Yeah…..I do…I really do have a problem,” he stated as a matter of fact way and I felt so offended by it.
“O.k….sure….I am sorry to disappoint you that I am Mr Lee’s daughter,” I huffed and turned around to go back inside but he grabbed my wrist. “Would you let me finish please?” he begged why giving me that adorable smile.
“Fine…..go ahead,” I waved my hand to let him continue while crossing my arms. “I have a problem because….. because Mr Lee told me that he doesn’t want me to meet his daughter……he said that I might fall for her….you know how beautiful his daughter is and all,” he sighed. What is he going on about?
“So you are disappointed that his daughter didn’t end up as pretty as you thought she was? You are disappointed that it turned out….it turned out to be me….because you expected better? I see how it is….sorry to disappoint you -,” my rambling was cut off by Harry’s lips on mine.
How dare he kiss me after what he just said?
I tried to push him away but he didn’t budge. Not that my protesting was very determined. His lips feel so soft and tender; I wouldn’t mind kissing him all day.
But why is he kissing after he just made that annoying statement? He decided to release me when I finally stop protesting.
“You really like cutting me off don’t you?” he asked breathlessly while resting his forehead against mine.
“The reason why I have a problem is because…..do you want to know why?” he suddenly asked. “Can you just get on with it please Harry….I don’t have all night,” I groaned.
Well I tried my best anyway…..I mean being in his arms and all makes you forget why you are mad you know?
“Very impatient…,” he chuckled and I groaned even more. “The reason why I have a problem is because….because….becuase….OUCH,” he squirmed.
“Why did you pinch me for?” he asked innocently. “That’s for not getting to the point,” I huffed.
“Fine…..fine…..you are feisty one tonight,” he grinned like a child. I was going to pinch him again but he put his hand up to surrender. “O.k…..you know patient is a virtue….right?” he questioned, with the smile still plastered on his face.
“Harry….you seriously don’t want me to pinch you until your cheeks will permanently stay red forever do you?” I threaten but he didn’t seem to be scared at all and instead he laughed.
“You know I am being serious right? When Tasman is serious….she is serious,” I said in a low dangerous voice and as a result, he just laughed even more.
When I am about to tell him to stop laughing, but all of a sudden cupped my face and gave me a passionate peck on the lips.
“What was that-?” I started but he cut me off with another kiss on the forehead and started to walk off. “Good night Tass….I will see you on Monday yeah?” he gave me a cheeky smile and waved goodbye.
“You have a lot of explaining to do on Monday Mister…” I yelled out to him and I could hear him laugh as he reached his car. I sighed happily as I watch him drove off down the street.
I’ve never seen a playful cheeky Harry like this before…..I have seen him cheeky but not like this and also let’s not forget about his awkwardness.
I really like this side of him….a lot and I am sure I will be dreaming about a certain British boy with flawless features and dreamy voice…..

Hahaha sorry.....the chapters aren't good lately :( I am zoning out a lot :(
