(Harry’s P.O.V)

“Hi I am James daughter and welcome to our house I guess,” she greeted without looking up at me. I gasped in surprise. Tasman is Mr Lee’s daughter. Tasman….. the girl I care about is Mr Lee’s daughter. I can’t process what is going on at this moment. My gasped made Tasman looked at me and I could tell she was shock just as much as I was.

“Harry? What a-are y-you doing here?” she asked shyly. “Harry?” she asked once more while waving her hand in front of my face and I shook my head trying to regain my shock. “Um….you don’t want me here?” I pouted and she rolled her eyes. “You are the guest that I am expecting?” she raised one of her eyebrows.

“Um….I don’t know…..were you expecting any particular guest? I was invited by Mr Lee,” I smiled. I already knew that I was the ‘suppose’ guest, well including my mum as well of course. “Oh is that so? Are you sure my dad won’t kick you out? I mean my dad is very protective of his daughter,” she smirked.

“Oh trust me love…..your dad loves me,” I winked at her and she just shook her head at me but she was also smiling. “Aww you two are just like an old married couple……so adorable” my mum spoke behind me and Tasman’s face was so red from embarrassment. I can assure you….she wasn’t the only one.

“Mum…” I whined and she just chuckled at me. “It’s lovely to see you again Tasman dear…..how have you been love?” my mum went and gave Tasman a huge hug. “I am really good Ann…..what about you? How are you feeling? You look beautiful by the way,” she complimented my mum with a warm smile.

“See this Harry……this is what a future daughter are supposed to be like……if you don’t end up keeping her….I will-“ before my mum can finished I cut her off. I am now really embarrassed. Why is she doing this to me? “Mum….can you please to being embarrassing,” I complained like a child. The two ladies in front of me just laughed at my reaction.

“You two always ganging up on me…..you know that?” I huffed. I know I am acting really childish right now, but I can’t help it. “Honey….why are you making the guest stay out there for so long?” I could hear Tasman’s mum called out. “Oh right….sorry come in and make yourself at home,” Tasman gestured us to enter.

We could hear giggling in the lounge room and I know exactly who it came from…..Lily. “Jackson…..s-stop tickling me….just because Tassi….tickled y-you….you d-don’t have to….” We could hear her say through her laughter.

As we enter the room, I could see Jackson tickling Lily all over and she was rolling around like a snake. The scene made me smile and I looked over at my mum……I could see that she was happy but pain was evident on her face.

Lily finally turned her head in our direction and she quickly rushed towards me. “Hayyi…..I miss you so much,” she hugged me tightly. “I miss you too love…..how have you been?” I got down on my knees and hugged her back. “I thought you will never come back…,” she pouted very cutely and I could hear my mum chuckled. “Aww she is so adorable,” my mum said from behind me.

“Lil’s…..this is Harry’s mum Ann…..go on introduce yourself,” Tasman encouraged. “Hello Ann….I-I’m Lily and I am six years old and oh……I love your son,” she added which made me laughed uncomfortably. I looked at Tasman’s direction and all I could see was her smirking at me trying to hold in her laughter.

“Aww is that so? Such a pretty girl like you……like a boy like my son?” my mum asked with a smile while poking Lily in the stomach which made her giggled. “He is soo nice,” she glanced up at me with a big smile and I scratched the back of my neck. This little girl has a crush on me…..oh dear.

“Is that so? He isn’t nice at home…..maybe he is only nice to you because you are very pretty,” my mum said cheekily. Why is she doing this? She is only making the situation worse. Lily was very satisfied with my mum statement as she started to giggle while her chubby cheeks turn rosy.

“Jackson come here,” Tasman gestured her brother over to us. “Harry…..you are finally here….I thought you bail on me with the soccer thing,” Jackson reminded me as we fist pumped. “Of course not…..we could do it every Sunday afternoon….what do you say?” I smiled at him. “Really? Awesome…..I can’t wait,” he stated excitedly.

“Hi I am Jackson,” he introduced himself while holding out his hand for my mum to shake. “Oh what a charming young boy,” my mum stated as she shook Jackson’s hand. “It’s lovely to meet you Ann,” Jackson gave my mum a sweet smile before walking towards the kitchen.

“Tasman dear….you have such a beautiful family,” my mum told Tasman while giving her a side hug. “They are and I am very lucky,” she said. “Tass dinner is ready…..bring Harry and his mum over,” Jackson called out and we made our way to the kitchen. It still doesn’t feel like Tasman is Mr Lee’s daughter. I can imagine it……but for some reason I just don’t feel it.

“Ann and Harry….sorry we couldn’t greet you at the front door,” Mr Lee approached us while giving both my mum and I a hug. “Oh it was no problem James….thank you for inviting us for dinner and letting us meet your family……you don’t know how grateful we are,” my mum stated with gratitude.

“Oh it’s nothing…..I wanted to invite Harry over ages ago, he is a fine boy Ann. I am very grateful to meet such a wonderful young man like your son,” Mr Lee complimented while smiling at me. I don’t know what he is talking about…..I am the one who should be grateful towards him…… and I am. He has done so much for me.

“Hi….you must be the famous Zoe that I always hear about,” my mum went and gave Mrs Lee a hug. “It’s lovely to meet you Ann….how are you feeling? James told me what happen,” Mrs Lee replied with a welcoming smile. “I am as good as new,” my mum laughed at her own statement. My mum has been doing extremely well over these past few days and I am really proud of her.

“Hello Harry…..I had a feeling I will see you again……James cannot stop talking about you ever since he employed you….but I didn’t know you were the same Harry that came over a while ago,” she ginned and surprising me by giving me a hug.

“Oh I am just as surprise as you are Mrs….I mean Zoe. I didn’t know Tass was Mr…I mean James’s daughter all this time until now. I definitely didn’t know you were his wife when I came over last time,” I assured her. I really didn’t know who they were.

“It’s a small word after all,” she chuckled while gesturing us to take a sit.

The adults seem to be in their own conversation and Lily and Jackson are arguing about something about movies or T.V show. “So you are Mr Lee’s daughter hey?” I turned towards Tasman. She was sitting right next to me and my mum was sitting on my other side. “Yeah I guess I am……I didn’t know you work in my dad’s coffee shop,” she stated while drinking her glass of water.

“You never asked,” I said as a matter of fact way. It was true…..she never asked me where I worked. “Yeah that’s true…..so I am assuming my dad and you get a long…..since you are the first employee he has invited over to our house,” Tasman smiled at me. “Oh is that so? I am getting the approval from the dad already….,” I smirked and she rolled her eyes in reply.

“So Harry…..I see my daughter caught your eyes already aye son? I warned you didn’t I?” Mr Lee startled me from talking to Tasman. He sounded so serious but when I look in his direction he was smiling widely at me.

I sort of feel relieved….. I guess. But now knowing that Tasman is Mr Lee’s daughter……and not to mention I have a huge feeling for her, I don’t know how our relationship will end up like……I don’t know if I can like my boss’s daughter.

“Yeah you did…..yeah you did,” I muttered. He did…..he told me that he has a beautiful daughter and I might end up falling for her if I meet her. Oh what do you know? I did end up falling for her and I didn’t even know it was his daughter yet.

“Oh you have beautiful children…..Tasman has done so much for me,” my mum looked at Tasman in an awe. “Really? You’ve met Tasman before?” Zoe asked curiously. “Yeah…..she was the girl that came and kept me company while I was in coma….oh she also have one of the most stunning voices I’ve ever heard,” my mum praised. My mum was right…..Tass does have one of the most beautiful voice I’ve ever heard.

My mum was also right on the fact that Tass has done so much for her. She did not only help with my mum’s recovery, but she also helped me as a person. “Oh…..Tasman did mention your name once I think…...wow….I didn’t know how much we connect together,” Zoe breathed out in surprise…..but it was those good surprise.

“I guess we all know each other more than we thought,” Mr Lee commented. Oh he was definitely right on that comment. We definitely know each other more then we actually think we do. “So honey…..you know Harry from school I am assuming,” Mr Lee said to Tasman. “Yeah….we had to do music assignment together,” she explained.

“Ahhh I see……so you guys are friends then” he questioned. Not in a suspicious way but in a curious way. “I guess we are,” I answered and he just nodded to himself, as if he is putting a piece of puzzle together. I know for a fact that Mr Lee knows something is going on. I just know it……he knows that his daughter and I are more than just ‘friend.’

He could always read me like an open book, I don’t know how he does it…..but he always could and that scares me so much. I can never lie Mr Lee…… the father of the girl I really care about. “That’s good……I am happy you guys are friends…..I hope you both look after one and another at school,” he suddenly spoke up with gleam.

“Yeah of course Mr Lee…..I will always protect your daughter,” I replied out of instinct. I did mean every word and I am pretty sure everyone in the dinner table except for Lily has caught the double meaning of my words. “I am glad you will son…..I know you will,” he gave me that trusted smile. He smile was like a kind of permission in a way…..permission for me to take care of his daughter.

I’ve gain Mr Lee’s trust and there is nothing I could ever wish for more than that. I will make sure to always keep Mr Lee’s trust and keep my words. I can never see myself betraying Mr Lee.

I can never see anyone betraying Mr Lee. He is one of those unique genuine men that you don’t come across every day and I can consider myself one of those lucky people to meet have him in my life.

The dinner went so well and everyone talk as if we’ve always known each other. “Harry…..you and Tasman should do a duet together……I’ve always dream of hearing you two sing together,” my mum begged as we are watching some movie in the lounge room after dinner.

“Yeah….I haven’t heard you sing in a long time honey,” Mrs Lee encouraged.

“What should we sing? We’ve never sung together before,” Tasman stated as she looked in my direction. She was right, I know she can sing….heck…..she can do more than just sing……but we’ve never actually sung together before. “Oh you should sing ‘You raise me up’ by the West life,” my mum said excitedly and Mr and Mrs Lee agreed as well. They must be the ‘West Life’ squad or something.

“You know the lyrics?” I asked Tass…..I don’t even know if she actually knows the song. I mean it is pretty old compared to this generation.

“Doubting me aye Styles? I will leave you stunned,” she winked.

Here is the next chapter guys............sorry for not updating for a very long time :( I am also sorry that this chapter is boring.......I promise the next chapter will be better :D

I actually thought that no one is reading this anymore.....but hey.....I should keep on updating no matter what happen of course :D
