Once In a Lifetime

Liam and Sophia are already seated when we arrive. Harry is still holding my hand. As we make our way to the table Liam looks down at our intertwined hands. He then looks up to meet my eyes. He smiles and winks at me. I return his smile, then look up at Harry. There goes my heart beat again. Speeding up at the thought of what I’ve shared with this beautiful man.
We drop hands to exchange hugs with our friends. Once seated next to each other, Harry finds my hand under the table.
Throughout our lunch, I happen to notice at various times women walking by and admiring Liam and Harry. They are handsome men, of course I expect this. What I don’t expect is that Harry notices none of them. His attention is genuinely on me the entire time.
We have an amazing visit, lunch was delicious, but I know Harry and I are thinking the same thing. We want to be alone. We only have a couple days before promo begins and we want to savour every moment.
After saying our goodbyes, I ask Harry if we can stop by a grocery store on the way back. I’d like to make him dinner tonight.
He looks pleased. “Really? I’d love that.”
As we walk through the store picking up what I’ll need, I am blown away by how happy it makes me to share such an everyday task with Harry.
