Once In a Lifetime

I’m in the kitchen preparing the dinner for Harry. I turn around to see him leaning against the counter watching me. He laughs. “What?” I say.
“You look so serious.” He teases me. I smile. “I just want it all to turn out perfect for you.”
Harry comes up behind me and wraps his arms around my waist, his chin resting on my shoulder. He whispers in my ear. “Don’t you know, you could burn it and I would still eat it and love it because you made it for me?”
I close my eyes momentarily to hold back the emotions. Then I turn in Harry’s
embrace so that I’m facing him. I wrap my arms around his neck. “Thank you.” I say before kissing him. I need to finish preparing dinner but I’m finding it hard to stop kissing him. I finally manage the willpower to pull back. I playfully hit his chest. “You are distracting me.” He pulls away from me faking a wounded look. I laugh and he comes back to steal a kiss. I swat him on his cute behind and tell him. “Get out of my kitchen!”
