World So Cold

~Liana's pov~


I started walking to my first day of middle school, I want a new beginning this year instead of just being all alone and made fun of all the time.


I made my way right through the school gates and smiled at all the new faces I'm seeing.


I was eager to kind of get this day over with so I started to run straight twords the school doors but accideftly bumped into a kid and knocked all his stuff down, so much for not being made fun of.


"Oh my gosh, I'm so sorry" I say picking up all his stuff and handing them to him but I was then met by a pair of beautiful blue eyes. Woah.


"It's fine, don't worry about it" he says and smiles. "I'm Luke" he says running a hand through his blonde hair.


"Im Liana" I respond. "You know, you have a lot of piercings on your ear" I giggle when I spot all the jewelry on his ear lobe.


"Ya, I guess" he shrugs. he takes all of the books I was holding that were his back. "I'll see around" he says with a smile and walks away.


i spot him walking over to this kid name Ashton that I really hate, oh great now he's gonna tell Luke all about how 'idiotic' I am. So much for making a friend.


I spot Luke catching a glance at me and Ashton whispering something in his ear and Lukes expression changes to laughter. Ugh.

I wake up with a loud gasp and in the company of a sobbing Luke.


what just happened?


He looks up at me with wide eyes and runs towards me and places a gentle kiss on my lips.


"I thought I lost you" he sobs and smiles.


"I'm right here Luke" I say letting tears fall too.


"Why did you do this" he asks immediately. With a lot of concern in his eyes also.


"I couldn't handle myself" I say like its no big deal but the dream comes to my head. "Can I ask you something" I ask.


"Yeah" he says with more concern in his eyes.


"The first day we met, which was the first day of middle school, how come you went straight to Ashton, and when he whispered something in your ear while both of you were looking at me, you just laughed. I thought you were really nice, but you ended up being just like him" I say, he smiles at the memory but debates himself on how to answer.


"I remember that day" he smiles. "I started liking you from that moment on. But ash caught me staring and told me something about you and I laughed just to sound cool" he said and I got a little mad at him saying that.


"Just to sound cool?" I asked and my head started to hurt.


"Hey lay back" Luke said gently laying me back on the pillow. "And I was 11 and cared about my so called 'ego', I didn't know what to do" he shrugged.


"I'd be kinda mad at you right now, but my head hurts to much" I say and Gabby and Ashton walk in the room.
