Rachel's P.O.V.

"Oh wow, isn't the view amazing?" I asked Ashton, walking into the balcony. We had little apartments, one with two rooms and one with three. Ashton and I were staying in the apartment with Luke and Skyler while the others were all staying together.

We had an ocean view from the small balcony in our bedroom and it was beautiful. "Absolutely stunning" Ashton replied, his arms slipping around me from behind, pressing a kiss to my shoulder. "So what do you want to do? The hotel has two gorgeous pools. Or we could go to the beach, its right there" he suggested.

"Beach sounds good. I'm gonna change into something more beach appropriate, you go ask the others if they wanna come with us" I suggested. He nodded before heading off out of the room.

Before long I had changed into a black bikini, with a cover up dress and a pair of flip flops. Only Luke and Skylar had wanted to come with us. The others said they would follow us over soon. Luke and Ashton walked ahead as we made our way to the beach so I took this opportunity to ask Skylar something.

"Sky, you don't think Ashton's acting weird?" I questioned softly. She looked confused. "No, I don't.. why?" Her voice was laced with curiosity. I shrugged. "I dont know, I just feel like he's not really into this as much as I am" I admitted. "What, the holiday?" She asked again. "No Skylar, us, Ashton and I" I told her.

"Rachel that's crazy!" She exclaimed, causing Luke and Ashton to look back to where we were trailing behind. We smiled at them and they turned back around. "Rachel" Skylab continued. "Listen to me, Ashton's crazy about you! He has been for as long as I can remember so done worry. Maybe you two just need a romantic night to yourselves, you're just getting worried over nothing" she assured me.

I nodded. She was probably right, a romantic night was just what we needed. I instantly set my mind on finding a romantic restaurant for a meal this evening. Just the two of us.


Ashton's P.O.V.

It was later that day when I got a text from Delia at long last. I hadn't seen her at all today, she was off with Louis somewhere. I sighed as I read her text.

Delia: Lizzie and Michael are having dinner tonight and Calum's going out with Harry and Louis. Free apartment ;)

Ashton: That sounds awesome but I'm having dinner tonight with Rachel, she seems really into the idea.

Delia: Just tell her you're feeling sick and you need to rain check. I'll get Harry to invite her to go out with them.

I read the message over and over, hating the idea of Rachel going out with Louis, especially when she'd be drinking butv also not able to resist temptation. How often would the apartment be free really?

And besides, Calum would be there too. He was one of my best mates he'd keep an eye on Tomlinson for sure. I text Delia back telling her I'd be over as soon as she got Rachel to leave with the boys.

It didn't take long to convince Rachel I was sick. The disappointment was evident on her face but she was sympathetic all the same. She offered to stay in and look after me but I insisted she go out and enjoy herself. Even more fortunately, Skylar and Luke offered to go with her too, meaning they wouldn't see me sneaking out of the apartment.

She pressed a gentle kiss to my forehead before leaving. "If you need anything, just call me. Feel better soon" she said softly and I watched her walk away, my stomach dropping as she did. What I was doing was going to hurt her. It was going to break her heart. And yet I couldn't help myself. I couldn't resist temptation.
