Delia's P.O.V.
"Kill me now" I grumbled, as I opened my eyes. "Are we there yet?" I asked softly, resting against the seat once again. We were on our way to the airport at 5am. Why we had booked early flights was beyond me. Harry was driving the car with Louis in the passenger seat and Ashton, Rachel and I in the back.
Rachel was in the middle, snuggled into Ashton's side, sleeping softly. I couldn't fight the jealousy that courses through me at the image. Despite the fact that it was dark, I could see how comfortable they were.
"Still a while yet" Harry mumbled and I groaned in response but soon drifted back off to sleep. I don't know how long I slept for but before long I was being softly shaken awake by Rachel, her calls of "Delia" kind and cheery.
"We're here!" She informed me, a smile evident on her face. "Finally! Imagine, before you know it we'll be on a beach in Malaga" she continued dreamily and Ashton chuckled at her ability to be so happy so early in the morning and pressed a kiss to her temple.
"We better go find the others" he told us, climbing out of the car. Rachel and I did the same and I instantly gasped as the cold morning air hit me. Ashton wrapped an arm around her as began walking into the airport and it took all I had not to physically sigh. And it seemed I wasn't the only one.
Louis' eyes were trained on the happy couple and I knew that more that anyone else, he knew what I was going through. I linked arms with him, resting my head on his shoulder.
"Still haven't gotten over her?" I questioned. Louis had been dating some old ex of his again, Niomi, but I could tell he wasn't really into it. They had chosen to break it two weeks previous but he hadn't seemed upset at all. I was willing t bet money on the fact that he was still hung up on Rachel.
The idea made me feel a little better. If only I could find some way to get Rachel to start seeing Louis that way again, we would all be happy. I would have Ashton and Louis would have Rachel. Win, win.
How to do it was the question. Rachel seemed to be a rather doting girlfriend and wouldn't be quick to ditch Ashton to spend time with Louis. Again, I wondered what Ashton was doing with me. Not that I would point it out to him but Rachel was quite the girlfriend.
She treated him really well, she wasn't too clingy but was always willing to spend time with him when he wanted to. She made an effort to be friends with Michael, Calum and Luke as they were his best friends. Not to mention the fact that she was well fit and had an amazing personality. He really had found himself a keeper.
So why was he jeopardizing his relationship with me? There was no doubt in my mind that he cared about her very much. The look in his eyes when he looked at her gave that much away. So what was he doing? Why would he risk it?
Louis cut off my train of thought with a firm "I have no idea what you're talking about." Though his eyes remained firmly on Rachel and Ashton. At least I was getting some kind of messed up relationship with Ashton. Poor Louis was getting nothing other than the chance to watch her be happy with someone else.
Despite the guilty feeling in the pit of my stomach I decided on what to do. No matter what, I had to try everything in my power to get Rachel to start seeing Louis as more than a friend on this holiday. Not just for Louis' sake but for my own too.
