Rachel's P.O.V.

Once I was out of the shower I changed into a pair of trakkies and a Mickey Mouse top. I decided to just let my hair dry naturally and so I headed downstairs to fins Skylar.

I decided that I did after all want to talk through the whole situation with Ashton. She knew Ashton very well she'd have a lot of insight.

However when I got downstairs I was surprised to find just Harry and Louis sitting in the kitchen, chatting.

"Hey, where's Skylar?" I asked, awaiting an answer.

Harry shrugged but Louis stated simply "She left."

"WHAT?!" Harry and I exclaimed at once.

Louis gave us a confused look, glancing back and forth between the two of us.

"She left, she said to say bye" he shrugged casually.

"Well thanks for letting us know!" I yelled at him, letting my anger take hold of me.

"I-"

"No you know what, it doesn't matter Louis. My beat friend takes off for America and you don't have the decency to try and make her wait a minute or at least shout for me. Thanks a lot" I continued yelling before storming off out of the room.



Louis' P.O.V. (For the first time in this story)

I watched her go with a sinking feeling in my stomach. When it came to her I always managed to mess up.

Haery instantly began into a rant about how I shouln have let Skylar leave without at least telling him first. After all wasnt I his beat friend, didnt I know how much he was hurting.

"What about how much I'm hurting Harry?" I cut him off suddenly, unable to stop myself. I was sick of it. I was sick of Rachel fawning over Ashton, I was sick of being Harry's shoulder to cry on when he never returned the favor. I was sick of everyone and everything.

"What do you mean?" He asked softly.

I ran a hand through my hair signing.

"See this is it Harry, you don't even realize what's going on with anyone other than you and Skylar right now. For God sakes Harry I've been pining over your sister for like a fucking year now and all you-" I suddenly cut off, wide-eyed, realising what I had said.

Harry also seemed shocked for a second before speaking quietly.

"My-My sister?" He asked
I took a deep breath.

"Okay Harry look, just forget I mentioned it, okay?" I muttered out avoiding his eye.

"My sister?!" His voice got louder as he repeated.

"YOU'RE CHASING AFTER MY SISTER?" He was yelling at this point.

"Okay Harry look-"

"Of all people Louis! You're my best friend you-" he began but I cut him off.

"I FUCKING LOVE HER" I yelled in response.

His eyes widened and froze as I looked down at my hands.

"I love her" I repeated in a whisper. "I'm in love with her Harry"

It was then he leaned closer to me. I half expected him to punch me but instead he rested a hand on my shoulder.

"I'm sorry man.. I didn't realise". He mumbled.

I sighed.

" I hate it Harry. I hate that I love her" I admitted.

He nodded.

"It just hurts so much" I mumbled.

He chuckled dryly.

"You're preaching to the choir sister" he mimiked some Tv show and I couldn't help but burst out laughing.
