Year Two

Skylar's P.O.V

I have to admit, it was great to be back in New York. Since its Saturday, I have two days until the program starts up again. I decided to stay in my room just laying around and watching movies. It seems that my roommate had other plans.

"Skylar!" I nearly jumped off my bed when my door flew open and my roommate ran into the room.

"What?" I ask, pushing my laptop away and raising my eyebrows at her.

"You didn't tell me that you know the band Five Seconds of Summer!"

I give her a questioning look, "Wha?-"

She quickly holds up her phone and shows me a picture of the boys, Rachel, and I in our rock climbing gear. I smile at the memory, remembering how Rachel's and Ashton's laughs were echoing off the building walls.

"Yeah," I nod, handing her phone back. "why does that matter?"

"Because they're hot?!" She giggled, sighing dreamily. "Especially the blond, I'd totally date him."

I laugh and awkwardly scratch my neck to hide the sudden ping of jealousy. "Really?"

"Um, yeah!" She states, her eyes widening before she clasped her hands together. "Do you think you could get his number for me? I bet you have it!"

What was I supposed to tell my roommate who wants to date my boyfriend?

"Sure," I mumble, pulling out my phone and quickly texting her Luke's number. I smile as she lets out a small squeak when he phone buzzes.

"Thanks!" She says, running out of the room.

I let out a breath and flop back down on my bed. The band must be getting popular if my roommate knows them. I'll ask her later about how she knows them. I then grab my phone and text Luke a quick warning about my roommate.

"FUCK!"

I jump at the sudden shout, which nearly caused me to mess up on my painting. My roommate once again flies into my room with her eyes wide.

"So I was texting Luke," she breathed, smiling before narrowing her eyes at me. "he told me he has a girlfriend!"

I let out a small chuckle, setting down my paintbrush and facing her. "About that,"

"Then I asked if anyone was single, and he told me only Calum and Michael are!"

Wait, what? Does that mean Luke thinks Rachel and Ashton are a couple? Maybe I should ask Rachel how she would feel about that..
