You and I (Niall Horan Fanfiction)

Connie's POV

I was in the middle of sleeping until someone jumped onto my bed.

"WAKE UP CONNIE! IT'S TIME TO EXPLORE MULLINGAR!" Niall shouted.

Did I mention that I'm not a morning person?

"What ... 5 more minutes, let's just sleep." I said half asleep.

Niall laughed. He got out of my bed and all of a sudden, the blankets came flying to the floor.

"Hey! I need blankets to sleep!" I said.

"Well, wake up! Let's not waste today sleeping!" Niall said.

I got up and did my usual morning routine. I went into my suitcase and decided to wear black leggings and an oversized cream sweater since it was pretty cold today. I then placed a maroon infinity scarf over my neck and a maroon beanie.

I went downstairs and I saw Niall eating breakfast.

"Good morning Connie! Did you sleep well?" Maura asked as she was making food.

"I did! Thank you so much again for having me! And the food smells amazing." I said.

Maura laughed as she handed my some breakfast. There were scrambled eggs, bacon and toast.

Before I was even halfway done my food, Niall said, "Alright, let's go explore!" He grabbed my arm and we headed out the door.

I started to laugh, "Oh Niall."

We walked around the streets of Mullingar. It was a cold day, but it was just a relaxing day. We were walking around looking at different shops and then finding something to eat.

"Do you miss home a lot Niall?" I asked.

"I do miss my family and home, but having this opportunity to perform all over the world is truly amazing." He said.

"What do you think you'll be doing right now if you never tried out for X-Factor?" I asked.

"I think I would just be going to school to get an education and find a job. And, I wouldn't have never met you either. But I'm glad the door hit your head at the concert, otherwise, I wouldn't have met you." He said as he laughed.

"I don't know if that's a good thing or bad thing." I said as I laughed.

Niall and I spent the majority of the time walking around. Occasionally, fans would come up to him, but it didn't bother me at all.

We decided to go get some coffee and headed to a coffee shop. After we ordered our coffee, we found a place to sit. We were just talking until Niall wanted to tell me something.

"You know how it's almost New Years? Well the boys and I were thinking of going to New York this year for the countdown. Come with us and ask Bernice as well!" He said.

"Really? That's amazing! Of course I would love to go, I always wanted to countdown in New York. When are we going?" I said.

"Well, we have a couple of days here and then around December 29th, we can start heading out to New York." Niall said.

"I'm so excited!" I said as I laughed.

"Me too, especially since I'm spending it with you. So do I get a New Years kiss?" Niall asked.

"We'll see, but probably not because why would I want to kiss you?" I said as I winked.

Niall pouted.

"You would want to kiss me because you love me?" He said.

"Do I really?" I said as I laughed.

Niall and I both laughed. I do love him and I was teasing with him. I'm so excited to go to New York.
