Niall’s P.O.V.
*two weeks later*
I was in bed with my laptop waiting for Lyric to log on to Skype. I looked at the time and it was ten o’clock. As I was resting my head against the headboard Lyric had called me. I clicked the button and Lyric’s face came into view.
“Hey babe” she said
“Hi princess what’s going on.” I asked smiling wide causing her to smile too.
“Nothing much I came back from the gym a couple of hours ago.” she shrugged “and you what have you and the boys been up too.”
“Nothing the usual performing and signings and stuff.” I said shrugging

Lyric’s P.O.V.

“Ok alright I’ll see you later babe.” He said
“Yeah ok I love you Ni” I said
“I love you too princess.” He said blowing me a kiss and I smiled pretended to catch it. Then he went off line. I pushed the laptop to the side and I threw my head back into the pillows and I groaned.
As I lay there in all quietness someone rang my door bell. I got up and walked over to my softball bag and grabbed a bat. I carefully walked over to the door and looked through the peephole but I couldn’t get a good look at the person’s face all I could see was the top of their head. I sighed and opened the door with the bat in hand.
“Jesus lyric you scared me.” He said
“Austin what the heck are you doing here.” I asked grabbing his arm and pulling him inside. As soon as we were inside he wrapped his arms around me and buried his face into the crook of my neck. I was caught of guard but I hugged him back. I heard quite sniffles and I felt something wet drip down my neck. Austin was crying.
“Hey hey Austin what wrong.” I asked pulling away from him and looking into his bloodshot eyes and his tear streamed face.
“I-I h-have to tell y-you something.” He stuttered. “Ok come on sit down on here ok.” I said leading him over to the kitchen and pulling out a chair for him. I walked over to the stove and turned it on.
“Are you gonna make hot chocolate.” He asked half smiling
“Yeah I know you like to drink hot chocolate when you’re upset.” I said walking back over to him and sitting down next to him.
“ok so um I-I m-my.” He stuttered again
“you know what just write it down.” I said handing him a note pad and I pen. He grabbed it and wrote something down. After he was done he handed it back to me.
My mom was diagnosed with Leukemia and Madison is pregnant.

I dropped the note pad and my mouth fell open. My hands started to shake. I brought my shaky hands up to my mouth and a tear streamed down my face. Austin put his hand on my shoulder I looked up and he too was crying. I wrapped my arms around him and he did too and we cried in each other’s arms.
Oh my god Madison is pregnant and Ms.Garcia has cancer. The more I thought about the more I cried.
“Austin I’m sorry for asking but why are you here in London.”
“the doctors said that London had the best treatments for it so I brought my mom and I brought Madison along too so she wouldn’t be alone and because she wanted to come and she can get an ultra sound while she’s here too.” He said
“That makes sense” I nodded my head “well where are they.”
“They’re at the hotel.” He said wiping his tear streamed eyes. “oh and tomorrow we are going to the hospital and I was wondering if you could come with us.” He asked
“of course I would come anything for you guys.”
after Austin left i sat there and thought why them out of everyone in the world them.
