I woke up to the annoying sound of my alarm.

Tuesday.

That means school and I'm in no mood for it at all. I hesitantly get up and change into a light greenish jumper with the word 'Geek' on it, some black ripped tights and my brown uggs. My hair looked nice today so I didn't bother fixing them, not that I cared anyway.



I walk downstairs and I see Harry in the kitchen.

''Good morning..'' I said sitting at the table.

''Good morning.'' he mumbled back.

''I'm not hungry, I'm just waiting for you so we'll get going.'' I lied.

I was starving but I didn't feel like eating right now.

''I made you breakfast, so you're gonna eat. No buts.'' he exclaimed.

I sighed in frustration. I didn't want to argue so I just took some bites. We ate in an awkward silence, only the sounds of our forks hitting the plate. We didn't even glance at each other.

''Okay. This is awkward to me as much as it is to you, just admit it. Can't we just get going already? Jesus!'' I stood up, grabbing my plate and placing it at the sink quickly before grabbing Harry by his arm, dragging him outside to my car. I heard him chuckle.

I started driving and turned up the volume so we wouldn't have the same awkward silence like before. I felt like Harry was glancing at me so I turned to look at him and saw him staring.

I quickly faced the road, blushing and I heard Harry chuckle. Soon enough we were at school. I turned my car off and leaned my head on the wheel, sighing. Harry knew why I was upset.

I felt his hand on my back and I turned to look at him.

''If he shows up again, just come and find me okay?'' He said in a demanding tone.

He was talking about Jake.

''That's the problem.'' I sighed, leaning my head back on the wheel again.

I could feel Harry's confused stare on me so I decided to enlighten him.

''Whenever I need you at school, you magically disappear. No matter how hard I try to find you, I can't.'' I said, looking at him intently.

He moved his hand away from my back and used it to tuck a stray strand of hair behind my ear.

''You may never see me love, but I see you.''

''Then why did you tell me to come and find you earlier?'' I said, chuckling to break the tension between us.

I did it on purpose. I don't want to have this kind of relation with him yet. I just can't.

He chuckled and pulled his hand away to open the door.

''I don't think he'll come anyway, I beat him too hard yesterday.'' he stated cheekily, winking at me.

''Later, babe.''

What?

''I'm not your babe Styles!''

''You'll be soon enough, I hope.'' I heard him mumble.

He thought I didn't hear. What was that supposed to mean? Whatever, this is the least of my concerns right now.

I closed the car door and when I turned around I jumped when I saw Niall in my face.

''Mornin' bacon!''

''Mornin'... french toast!'' I replied, playing along.

''So why didn't you come yesterday? Don't lie!'' he tickled me.

''Okay! Fine lets go inside and I'll explain everything.''

''Okay... chicken wing!''

What is he saying? I think he is just trying to lighten up my mood because he always knows when I'm upset.

We got in the cafeteria and sat down. Since it was a free period for both of us, I decided to let him know about everything because he is my best friend and I want him to know about me.

I explained everything from my dad's accident to Jake finding me. He was such a good listener. He didn't say anything, he just let me do all the talking.

''And now I don't know if he's really gone or if he's still here stalking me.'' I said with teary eyes.

Niall frowned and I turned my back to him. I don't want him to see me cry, I hate it.

Instead, Niall hugged me from behind and I leaned on him. He nuzzled his head in the crook of my neck, assuring me that he was there whenever I needed him.

I saw Harry in the corner of my eye. He was leaning on the cafeteria's door. His arms crossed over his chest, showing his muscles. I saw him looking at me with an angry face and turning on his heel, leaving.

''Hey Niall, I forgot something in my car, be right back!''

I followed Harry outside in the parking.

''Harry.'' I shouted.

He ignored me and just kept walking away.

''Harry!'' I yelled.

''What?!'' he replied.

He turned around, almost bumping into me.

''What's wrong?''

''Nothing's wrong.''

''I don't believe you.''

He ignored my statement and pulled something out of his pocket. Cigarettes.

''No. You're not gonna smoke.'' I stated.

''What if I do? What are you, gonna do about it?'' he pointed at me.

I sighed, leaning against the wall.

''Why do you always have to make everything so difficult and complicated?'' I complained.

He looked at me, whilst lighting his cigarette. He inhaled from it and exhaled smoke. As much as I'm against it, and would never even think of smoking one I couldn't help but look at him when he did. It was hot. He approached me, his hands on either side of me, trapping me.

''Because I am difficult and complicated, love.'' he winked, taking another breathe of that, death on a stick and exhaling it in front of my face.

I scrunched up my face due to the smoke I breathed.

I saw Harry's eyes staring at my lips, while licking his own. He raised his hand and caressed my cheek, his thumb slightly touching my lower lip.

''Niall gets to kiss them, right?'' he asked in a low and whispering voice, finally looking up at my eyes.

''Why do you care?'' I asked.

''Because if you liked Niall, you wouldn't have kissed me back last night.'' he pointed out.

''What?'' I heard a familiar voice say.

I turned around only to be met with those innocent, dazzling blue eyes.

Niall.

Short chappy but oh well..

I had to guys.. I needed a cliffhanger so I would keep you in suspense until the next update which happen next week.
