I woke up and I was crushed under Harry.

Well, actually half of my body was beneath him. I wanted to get up but I couldn't.

''Harry wake up! You're crushing my bones.''

He chuckled and pretended to be asleep. Snuggling even closer to my body if that is even possible.

''Harry I heard you chuckling, get up!''

''Fine.''

He got up and I managed to breathe again.

''Finally, air.'' I said emphasizing 'air' so he would notice.

''It's your fault for being too scared to sleep by yourself.'' he joked.

''Yeah laugh all you want, you should call yourself lucky for getting to actually sleep besides a girl.''

''Yeah, you know I must've banged at least a hundred girls before I met you.''

''Oh really? After you met me? How many did you bang?''

As soon as I asked those questions, I saw him staring at me with a blank expression. He looked kind of sad but he didn't show it much. I was about to say something but a loud thud from downstairs interrupted me.

My eyes widened and Harry's as well.

''Harry?'' He cursed and went downstairs. I followed him, bad idea.

''Jake..'' I breathed.

Harry saw my discomfort so he turned to me and told me to go upstairs and hide.

''You fucking liar you told me you were her cousin.'' I heard him yell before I run upstairs.

Harry's POV:

''I'm not her cousin but if you don't get out right now I will be the last person you'll ever see.''

''You think I'm scared of you pretty boy? Huh?'' I stared at him, clenching my fists together. 'I won't hit him.' I kept telling myself.

''Alice get down here!'' He yelled.

The stairs to her bedroom were behind me so if he wanted to go upstairs he would have to pass me first.

He tried to. But I attacked him. I pushed him up against the wall and punched him.

''Harry stop!''

Alice's POV:

''Alice get down here!'' I heard Jake yell.

I didn't want to go downstairs but I was concerned about Harry. Not because he would get hurt because I know that he won't, I was concerned about Harry hitting Jake. I don't want any trouble.

I crept behind the wall next to the stairs and took a peek. Harry had Jake pinned up against the wall punching him repeatedly.

I immediately ran downstairs.

''Harry stop!''

I got in between them pushing Harry away.

''That's enough! Jake I want you to leave and don't call me or text me, just leave!''

Jake was hesitant but he didn't have a choice since Harry walked in front of me now facing Jake and pushing him outside the front door. He threatened Jake that if he ever comes near me again he'll be in serious trouble, before shutting the door.

''We're staying in.'' he stated mumbling while locking the door.

''What? No. We have school.'' I denied.

''Alice, it's not safe. We'll go tomorrow, I need to make sure he is gone and you're safe again.''

I mentally smiled. He cared. He cared about me.

I sighed and nodded, I was still in my pjs so I went up and changed into some sweats since we're spending the day in today. I also texted the boys, telling them that I'm 'sick' and that I won't go to school today.

I went back downstairs, Harry was already sitting on the couch and I lied next to him, my head now on his lap. He looked down at me and smiled, bringing his hand to my head to stroke my hair. I closed my eyes snuggling closer to him.

We watched T.V. for quite a long time because it was night-time outside. Harry's hand wouldn't stop stroking my head and that made me almost fall asleep when I realized that I didn't even thank him.

''Thank you.'' I suddenly said.

''For what?''

''For helping me, for being here and for getting rid of Jake.''

''You don't have to thank me.''

''No. I know I don't have to thank you, I want to.'' I said, now standing straight and on my knees to look at him, face to face.

''And I want to keep you safe.'' he whispered. I was staring into his emerald green orbs intently, him staring back at mine.

Our faces were about an inch apart and Harry raised his hand to caress my cheek. His gaze fell down on my lips, biting his own and then his eyes slowly trailed back at mine.

Silence filled the room, only the faint sounds of the T.V as a background.

Harry then pressed his lips gently against mine. I kissed back and our lips moved in perfect sync. Shivers went down my spine, I don't know why I'm kissing him but it just feels so good.

Both of his hands were in either sides of my face, deepening the kiss. I lied on my back, Harry hovering me. He now placed his elbows on the couch, my head between them, to support his weight. Our passionate kiss soon ended, as we pulled away to breathe.

His heavy breathings fanning my face, he placed his forehead on mine. He kissed me once again but this time it was a lustful and hungry one. I kissed back, again not even thinking. My hands wrapped around his neck, his one hand tugged on my sweat shirt and I realized what he was trying to do.

''No. Harry stop.''

He pulled back looking at me with a questioning look. I stared at him with disapproval and he got off me and sat back on the couch.

''I'm sorry for... that.'' he apologized. I nodded and stood up, walking upstairs.

''Alice?'' I stopped at the stairs.

''Yeah?''

''Are you going to sleep.. you know, in your room tonight, with me?''

''Umm, I think I'll spend the night in my mom's.. Okay?''

''Oh.. Okay.'' he said rubbing the back of his neck and returning to the couch.

''Good night Harry.''

He turned around, ''Good night.'' and then continued walking to the couch.

I went upstairs not even bothering to change and lied on the bed. This day was eventful and I was sound asleep in no time.
