Right In Front of Your Eyes

Aurora's POV
I wake up to a consistent knocking on my door. I look over at Liam who looks like he is completely naked. I sit up and notice that I am in the same situation as Liam. I quickly grab my robe from my closet and open the door a crack to see who was knocking. It was Rose. She is fully dressed and holding Chasity.
"Yea?" I ask.
"You need to get ready. We have to go shopping, and I am pretty sure Chasity is going to want her mom soon." Rose says to me.
"Okay, I am going to take a shower then get dressed." I whisper with a hoarse voice.
"You sound like you lost your voice, must have been a rough night." Rose says as she winks at me and walks away I just roll my eyes at her back and go to jump into the shower. I quickly change into a comfy outfit and come out of the bathroom with my hair thrown up into a messy bun. Then I slowly creepy out of the room so I don't wake Liam up. I go downstairs to find Harry and Rose sitting at the counter eating some cereal, and Rose is holding Chasity.
"Hey, thanks again for watching Chasity last night." I say when I enter the kitchen.
"No problem, it's good practice for when we have kids" Harry says and looks longingly at Rose.
"Well we are not having kids for a long while though." Rose says back to him. He just smiles at her like he is planning otherwise.
I grab a glass and pour orange juice in the glass.
"So we heard you and Liam last night. Sounded like you are already trying for another baby." Harry says bluntly and I choke on my juice.
"Oh my…" is all I say.
"Harry! It is none of our business." Rose says as she slaps Harry in the arm with one hand. "Aurora we have to go. Perrie, Eleanor and Gemma are meeting us at the boutique in a half hour." Rose says as she stands up from the stool and passes Chasity to me.
We leave and arrive at the boutique a couple minutes later. Perrie and Eleanor were already there and waiting in the front lobby for us.
"Aurora! Rose!" Perrie and Eleanor screech as they come over and give us hugs. Then Eleanor just takes Chasity out of my hands and cuddles her.
"Oh, she is just too cute. She is growing up so fast!" Eleanor says to me.
"Yea, she is looking more like Liam everyday." I say.
"No, she looks more like you." Perrie says looking at Chasity.
"Hey we have an appointment under Rose Link." Rose says to the front desk lady.
"Ah yes right this way. I see that you have a dress fitting along with an appointment to find bridesmaids dresses and a flower girl dress." The lady said as she directed us to an arrangement of couches and a platform surrounded by mirrors.
We all sit down on the couches and Eleanor turns to me and asks, "So, a little birdy told me that you and Liam aren't having 'play dates' anymore." Eleanor and Louis use so many play on words sometimes it's hard to tell what they are saying.
"Oh no 'play dates' definitely last night, all night long." Rose says and I playfully hit her in the arm.
"Rose! Not everyone needs to know about mine and Liam's 'play dates'" I tell her.
"Well that depends if those 'play dates' are so much fun that they are bringing more kids around then we kinda need to know the details." Rose said slyly.
"Okay, let me just make things clear, yes Liam and I had sex last night, yes it happened multiple times. No, we do not want another kid at the moment. So yes we used protection. Any other relevant questions?" I ask frustrated.
"Nope! That is all we need to know." Eleanor says.
The appointment goes by fast, we quickly find a bridesmaids dress because it was the first one that Rose saw and liked and since there wasn't very many flower girl dresses that would be small enough for Chasity it narrowed down the searching. Finally Rose's fitting for her wedding dress only took about a half hour because she got the perfect size so there wasn't really much to be altered.
We decided not to go out to lunch since the boys are back and we want to spend as much time with them as we can.
A Week Later
The week went by so fast. I can't believe my time with Liam is almost to an end. Most of the week we just stayed home and just had family time. We also went to go see our families because they haven't seen Chasity in a while and I really missed being at home. Most of the week we stayed at Liam's so we can have our privacy, and Rose and Harry can have theirs.
Today is the day of the concert in London. Most people wouldn't take their infants to a concert of this size, especially with all the screaming girls, but Liam really wants Chasity here.
I set up the pack and play up in a room off of the dressing room. I hope that it isn't too loud back here, I want Chasity to get at least some sleep tonight.
Liam walks in the room and comes over to Chasity and me. He has the biggest smile on his face right now.
"Guess what?" He says as he gives me a kiss on the cheek.
"What?" I say back to him. I am holding Chasity right now because I haven't had the chance to put her in the crib.
"The TV in here is hooked up to cameras so you can watch the performance live."
"That's cool…" I say as I look down at the ground.
"What? Do you not want to watch it?" He asks worried.
"Oh no, I do but I will probably have to turn it off, or on mute when I put Chasity to bed. So I won't be able to really see the concert."
"I'm sorry. I didn't think about what you wanted to do. I just really wanted to have Chasity come to her first concert, I should have thought of the inconvenience on you."
"No really it's fine. I mean she is my responsibility so being with her makes it all the more bearable." I smile at Liam, whose smile came back and over took his face.
"I love you so much." He says to me as he kisses me.
"I love you more." I say back to him.
"I love you most." He says finally and is about to leave when he remembers something. "Oh yea I almost forgot. Baby headphones, that will block the bulk of the noise, I got them just for Chasity. I want you guys to stand by the stage even if it is just for the first couple of songs. Please?" He begs as he holds out the headphones.
"Okay, how could I say no to that cute face." I say and pinch his cheeks. I put the headphones on Chasity and she squirms, they must be really irritating, but it is better than no headphones. I follow Liam out to the stage entrance and I see Rose standing by Harry. Rose said that she will stay backstage with me to help out with Chasity, and because she can't stand all of the screaming girls.
The boys go out on stage and the crowd erupts in screams. The screaming turns into singing as the boys start their first song. After they finish the song Liam starts talking.
"How's everybody doing?" He asks, he gets the response of screams. "Well I'm glad everyone is doing great. So listen, I am sure everyone here knows that I have a beautiful daughter now, she takes after her mother by the way," always trying to get on everyone's good side, even if he is already on it. "Anyways, she is backstage right now, and I was wondering if everyone would like to see her. This is her first concert, so it is pretty special to me that she should get to come on stage. So what do you say?" Liam asks and the screams get louder. "Okay, it looks like a yes."
"Hahahahaha, Liam do you really think Aurora would let you take Chasity out here on stage." Niall says laughing.
"I have no idea, I am just winging it here. But hopefully she will let me. Excuse me for a moment guys. I am going to go grab my daughter I will be right back." Liam says and I see him pop his head off stage. "Can I please?" He begs as soon as he sees me.
I sigh, knowing I can't say no because the whole arena would hate me. "Fine, but be careful" I say warning him. I look up at the TV which is on the wall near the stage exit. I watch as Liam carefully brings Chasity up to the main part of the stage.
"Isn't she beautiful?" Liam asks the crowd.
"I would have to agree with you man!" Niall reaches out and grabs Chasity from Liam, "But you know she loves her Uncle Niall more, I mean look at how she smiles at me, that right there is worth a million bucks." Niall is looking down at Chasity.
"Let me see! Let me see!" Harry says as he bounces over to Niall. "Awe! But it is nothing compared to her just this past week she would smile and laugh whenever she saw my face and then get a pouty face whenever I left."
"That's because you are one funny looking dude." Louis says to Harry, and the whole crowd starts laughing.
"Can I have my kid back? I should take her back to her mom" Liam asks Niall.
"I don't know… I think she should be the 6th member of our band. She can bring a whole audience of people to our band, think of all the babies that will listen." Niall says barely containing his laughter from his own witty comment.
"Okay, give her back before you drop her from laughing." Niall finally gives Chasity back to Liam. "It is way past her bedtime right now, and I should know because her bedtime normally means my bedtime too. Anyways can everyone say goodnight to Chasity?" Liam asks and the crowd screams 'Goodnight Chasity' in unison.
Liam walks off the stage towards the exit with Chasity, the cameras follow him, without him knowing. I see him come off stage and pass me Chasity. He leans down on the last step of the staircase bringing him on stage and gives me a kiss. Then he kisses Chasity's head and whispers "Good night." He goes back on stage.
"Aurora…" Rose says poking me, as we walk back to the room with the crib.
"What?" I ask her.
"You know the whole good night kissing thing was on the big screen, so that means that everyone in the audience saw that."
"Good! Maybe they will realize that we aren't just some people who happen to have a baby together, we are people who love each other and it just so happens that we have a kid." I say. We enter the room and I pull of the headphones and put Chasity in her crib. She falls asleep almost instantly. Rose and I end up watch the entire concert on the TV but we had the volume really low. It was really enjoyable when your ears aren't bleeding from the screaming. It's about 3 hours into the concert when Chasity starts getting fussy. So I feed her, then I realize that she needs to be changed. So I grab the diaper bag and go to the bathroom to change her. Normally I would just change her on the floor, but I really wanted to walk around. I go to the nearest bathroom which is about a 5 minute walk from backstage.
I see a line for the bathroom, well this is just great. I don't want to turn back so I decide just to stand in line.
A girl in front of me was staring at me and kept poking her friend who was looking towards the bathroom. "What?" her friend asked.
"Look" The girl whispered.
Her friend turned around and almost fell on the ground and the girl caught her. "Oh My God!" The friend says.
"I know!" The girl says. I just look at them like they have gone crazy. The friend stands up straight now and looks at Chasity.
"She is so cute! She totally looks like Liam though." The friend says.
"Uh…. Thanks? And yea I guess she does." I say awkwardly.
"Unlike most people, we think you and Liam are super adorbs together." The friend says as she bounces up and down.
"Okay..." I really want this conversation to end. All I want to do is change Chasity's diaper. Damn I knew I should have stayed in the room to change Chasity. The girls in front of me go into the stall and I am waiting for the handicap stall to open up because it has the changing table in it.
I over hear some girls talking behind me, "Did you see how he was with the baby?" One girl says.
"Oh my gosh yes! He is so good with kids." The other girl says.
"I know! Just wait until we have kids, he is going to be great with them too."
"You and Liam would be so cute together." The other girl says.
I don't understand how people can think that it is actually plausible that they are going to date or marry some celebrity that they haven't even met yet.
I finally get into the stall and quickly change Chasity and rush back to the room because I do not want to hear people gossiping any more.
On the way back I barely get past the security guard. When I get back to the room I am beat, I so should have stayed in the room.
Chasity slowly falls asleep again and I put her back in the crib.
The concert goes on for another hour or so. I know that it's over because Liam came bursting in the room as soon as he could. Harry isn't far behind.
"What did you think of the concert?" Liam screams, I don't think that he realizes how loud he actually is. Chasity starts crying because the loud noise woke her up. I give Liam the look of 'you-did-this' and he returns a sympathetic look. He goes over and picks Chasity up. She looks at Liam and stops crying immediately and smiles. I see Liam smile back at her.
"So you never answered my concert question." Liam says, this time a lot quieter.
"It was great! I mean I got the whole concert experience. I took Chasity to change her in the bathroom just to walk around, and I got the experience of fangirls. Someone said that they think we are super adorbs, and someone else was talking about how great you will be with your kids with her. I wanted to laugh at the last one."
"Yea, some people are a little insane." He says as he starts rocking Chasity back and forth to make her go to sleep.
"So when are we going home?" I ask him.
"I'm not going home. I have to catch a plane in a couple hours. I'm sorry I thought I told you." He says with a sorry expression written across his face.
"You probably did. I probably forgot." I say and look down at my feet. I am upset that he has to leave so soon.
Liam notices that I am upset and walks over then lifts up my chin so I am looking into his eyes.
"Hey, I will be back soon. I promise. I will call you everyday, so it won't seem like I'm gone. I will be back before you know it. Just 3 little months, nothing major." He says then gives me a light kiss on the lips.
"I know, it's just nice when you're home because sometimes you wake up and deal with Chasity. Oh, and I love the feeling of waking up and seeing you lying next to me. It's the simple things I am going to miss." I say to him. Sometimes I hate getting all mushy, but sometimes you just can't help it.
"I miss waking up to your pretty face too. My days are brighter when you are in them." I just smile at his response.
Liam helps me pack up all of the baby stuff and tells security to take it out to my car. It's nice to have people work for you.
I am about to leave when Liam calls me over, "I love you so much. I will be counting down the days, then hours, then minutes until I get to see you again." He says as he passionately kisses my lips.
"I wish that day were already here. I love you more." I tell him.
"I love you most." He winks at me and takes Chasity from me to say goodbye I really hope that the tours are going to get shorter because I don't think I can handle not seeing him for most of the year. It would be nice if he went in spurts, like one continent one month then a couple months off then the next continent. Sadly it doesn't work that way. He gives me back Chasity and turns to walk away, it is hard to see him go.
I go to the car, Liam hired someone to drive Rose, Chasity and me to and from the concert so I get into the car and drive away. Right then I realize that I can't go that long without seeing him, maybe I will surprise him on one of his stops...
