Aurora's POV
Rose and I sit in the airport waiting to board our plane. It is 3 in the morning. We are heading to New York to go visit Harry and Liam since they are on tour. They don't know we are coming it is going to be a big surprise. I have Chasity in her car seat because that is how she has to be boarded. I know it might be crazy to bring a 7 month old on a trip across the ocean but seeing Liam will all be worth it. We board the plane, Rose decided that since we are travelling with the baby that we should fly first class. I think she is just getting really used to living in luxury because Harry spoils her rotten.
They call our seats to be seated and Rose and I grab our carry on bags and the car seat and board the plane. We are one of the first people to board because we are seated in First Class. I put Chasity in the seat closest to the window and I sit on the isle. Rose is sitting across the isle from us so she is close, but since there is no more than two in a row in first class she couldn't sit in the same section. I situate Chasity for the 7 hour flight. I am dreading her crying during take off and landing because of the pressure difference on her ears.
The plane loads in 30 minutes and then we are ready for take off. We are forced to watch some safety video that I don't pay any attention to. Most of it is self explanatory and I've seen it before. When the plane starts ascending Chasity wakes up from her slumber. She has the look of discomfort and confusion on her face, probably due to the fact that she has never been in an airplane before. I try to soothe her by saying it's okay. I then make funny faces to distract her, I get a small smile from her that goes away really quickly. Then wouldn't you know it Chasity starts crying. I get a ton of nasty looks from everyone in the first class section and a sympathy look from Rose. Everyone is pissed because it is so early in the morning and a baby is crying, but there really isn't anything I can do. I attempt to put the pacifier in her mouth but she spits it right out. I can't wait till the seatbelt sign is off so I can pick her up and rock her.
After about another 20 minutes of ascending the seatbelt sign goes off, thank God. I quickly unbuckle her and rock her back and forth. She calms down quickly.
"I am so sorry." I say to all the people around me who have dealt with her crying. Chasity soon goes back to sleep, which means that I can try and catch some shut eye. I put Chasity back in her car seat and try and go to take a nap.
I successfully fall asleep, but for how long? I have no idea because I wake up to Rose arguing with the flight attendant.
"Miss please put the baby back. It is not yours. I will report you if you don't." The attendant says to Rose.
"She is my friend. I don't want to wake her and the baby was starting to get fussy." Rose says. I can see that Rose is rocking Chasity back and forth.
I sit up so I can join the conversation.
"Oh, ma'am you're up! Good, I tried to stop her from touching your baby, but she refused to listen to me." The attendant apologized.
"It's okay, she is my roommate. Since I am a single mother, she helps me out when I need it." I say to the flight attendant.
"Oh, I'm sorry for the confusion." She leaves me and Rose by ourselves.
"Single mother my ass." Rose says as she sits down.
"Hey I am a single mother, sort of. I mean he is gone all the time, and we aren't married." I say defending myself.
"If he could he would spend all of his time with you and you are the one who doesn't want to get married yet not him."
"I hate when you correct me sometimes, and you're right." I say as I lay my head back down.
"You just love being right too much."
"How long until we get there?" I ask her.
"We have been in flight for about 4 hours, you took a really long nap. We should be there in about 2. I can't wait to get off of this plane. I want to move around and to see Harry again." Rose says as she looks at the ceiling, obviously day dreaming.
"How are we going to be able to approach them? Let alone find them." I say, realizing our flaw in our plan. Rose looks at me with a look of worry, like she hadn't thought of that either.
"Well, we could just you know, call them." Rose suggests. I look at her like she has gone insane.
"Rose, we are going to be in a different country, our phones aren't going to work. And you know as well as anyone that the boys don't answer their phone if they don't know the number, so the payphone option is out."
"We could follow the screaming girls, then find a guard on their security team, they know at least me by now." Rose says.
"Okay, I hope your plan works. Did Harry ever mention the hotel he is staying at? Because that might help."
"No, well if he did I don't remember, they stay in so many places I can never keep track. We really didn't think this through did we?"
"No, we did not. I think we just missed them so much that we were blindsided by reality." I say to her.
Chasity is starting to get too fussy for Rose to handle, which means she is probably hungry, and needs a diaper change. I stand up and grab Chasity from Rose and go to the bathroom to feed her and change her. The bathrooms are so small it takes me about a half hour just to do those simple tasks, usually it takes me like 10 minutes.
I get back to my seat and notice that the flight attendant was coming around again with drinks. I could really use a coffee right about now. I order a coffee and drink it quickly, I couldn't get caffeine in my system faster. I put Chasity in her car seat again and hand her some of her toys that I brought with to entertain her.
We finally land and I can't wait to get off of this plane. I quickly grab my bag and Chasity and make it off of the plane. Rose and I head to baggage claim to grab our luggage and we head to the information desk. I had the idea of asking where One Direction is staying while they are in New York.
She is puzzled by our question but looks it up anyways. She says that she couldn't find the hotel that they are staying at but recommends us to go to the Paramount hotel. We thank her and leave in a taxi.
We arrive at the Paramount and see a sea of screaming girls. Yup, this is probably where they are staying. We push our way to the doors and enter the lobby and go up to the front desk.
"Hi, we were wondering if One Direction is staying here." I ask the clerk, just to make sure.
"I'm sorry I am not allowed to answer any questions about guest in the hotel." She says then turns back to her computer.
"Listen, I know most girls are looking to meet the boys, but we have already met them. Years ago actually. We actually want to talk to Harry's or Liam's personal body guards." I say. She looks at us like we have sniffed one too many sharpies.
"Do I need to call security?" She asks us.
"Listen, if you don't contact one of the boys, or one of their body guards. I will ruin any chances of the boys returning here as their hotel, if they are here." I threaten.
"But ma'am, it's 5 in the morning. Even if they are staying here wouldn't you not want to wake them?"
"Just do it now! I am getting antsy and so is my baby." I say aggravated.
"Okay, but if I get fired it's your fault." She says then dials a number.
"Hello, there are two girls down here with a baby who claim to know some of the boys. Yes, okay thank you. I am sorry for waking you." The clerk says and hangs up the phone. She turns to us and says, "Someone will be down shortly to confirm your association with the boys." She says then leaves the desk.
I turn to Rose, who is half asleep. "It is too early for this shit. I am telling you. The whole surprise factor doesn't quite work when you are dating someone famous."
We see Harry's body guard enter the lobby looking pissed that he had to come down here.
"Hey! Listen I am really tired. Can we just go upstairs please?" Rose goes up and asks the bodyguard.
"Rose? What are you doing here? We weren't planning for visitors." The bodyguard says frustrated.
"It's a surprise. Besides, Chasity missed her Daddy. She is the main reason we flew here. Now would you let a sweet innocent little girl not be able to see her father?" Rose says with pleading eyes.
"Fine, besides if I don't bring you up and the boys find out I will be fired." He says and we follow him to the stairwell. He offers to take Chasity from me so I don't have to carry two heavy things at once. We go up about 20 flights of stairs when we approach a guarded door. One of the guards opens it and it leads us to an empty and quiet hallway. He puts a key in one door and opens it. The room behind the door is pitch black.
"This is Mr. Styles' room." He says as Rose bounces into the room. The bodyguard goes down the hallway a couple doors down and opens the next door with a different key.
"Here is Mr. Payne's room. Here is your baby too." He says as he hands me Chasity. I slowly walk into the room. I see Liam sprawled all over the bed.
I put Chasity down and walk over to Liam.
I put my face really close to his ear and whisper, "This sleeping position better not become a habit."
Liam jumps and sits up in bed. His eyes are full of sleepiness. He rubs them as he looks at me confused. "Auri?" he asks hesitantly, like I may be a dream.
"Morning sleepy head." I say and give him a kiss.
"What are you doing here? Where's Chasity?" He asks as he looks around the room.
"Don't worry she is right here." I say as I unbuckle Chasity from the car seat and pick her up. "Chasity missed her dad. And I sort of missed him too." I say and wink at Liam.
"Hi sweetheart! Come to Daddy!" He says in a childish voice as he reaches out to grab her. I hand her over and he gives her a hug. "My little girl is growing up so fast! Yes you are. Look at that cute little smile. I missed you so much!" He says and kisses her head, as he starts bouncing her.
I go and sit on the bed next to Liam. "I am sorry I woke you, but I thought you would be happy to see Chasity." I say.
"I am so glad you woke me. This is the best way to wake up. Even if I only got like 4 hours of sleep. I swear I sleep less on tour than when I am at home with a baby."
"At least with a baby you can go to bed earlier."
"Yea, the times when I got to start sleeping around 8 pm rather than 1 am. So how long are you staying?" Liam asks.
"We are leaving tomorrow night, really late at night though. Pretty much just when you're in New York then we are heading back. But, I will see you in less than a month for Harry's wedding. Then you will be home for a while." I say trying to see the bright side of things.
"I can't wait! I miss you guys so much. Especially you. I hate not waking up to you every morning. The smell of your shampoo in the mornings, and the smell of baby in the evenings. I miss those cute little bags under your eyes." He says and I try to cover them and I give him the 'you're-lying' look. "Don't worry it makes you real. Everything about you is screams home, and that is what I need right now." Liam says as he lays Chasity down in the middle of the bed and lays next to her. I lay down on the other side of Chasity and look at Liam. He pushes himself up and gives me a kiss on the lips.
"I missed you too." I say back to him. All three of us fall asleep on the bed.
I am awoken by a pounding on the door and an Irish voice saying, "Liam! Wake up, I'm bored." I stand up and go to the door and open it. I see Niall standing on the other side. His fist is in mid knock and he looks at me surprised.
"Aurora!" He squeals and gives me a hug and twirls me around. "I missed you! I didn't know you were coming. I'm surprised that Liam wasn't talking about this for weeks."
"It was a surprise. Rose, Chasity and I flew in this morning. Let me tell you, never surprise a celebrity because the hoops I had to go through just to be up here were insane." I say as I lean against the door as soon as Niall put me down.
"Chasity is here too?" Niall asks excited.
"Yea, she is sleeping with Liam right now. I'm sure she wouldn't mind to be woken up if it is by you." I say with a smile on my face as Niall rushes into the room. I look on the bed and Liam has a protective arm on Chasity who is laying on her back sleeping. This moment is picture worthy. Niall goes over and flings Liam's arm off of Chasity and it falls on the opposite side of Liam waking him up in the process.
"Chasity! My favorite Lady!" Niall says and he hugs her and kisses her cheeks. Sometimes I think that maybe he should just ditch the whole finding a girl thing and just adopt kids on his own.
"Niall! Why the hell did you wake me?" Liam asks pissed.
"I'm bored, and when Aurora said that Chasity was here I needed to see the prettiest girl in the world." Niall coos as he starts bouncing.
"You're going to make her throw up on you." Liam says trying to annoy Niall.
"No, she wont throw up on me. I'm her favorite." Niall says cheekily. Then continues to say, "Oh yea, we have to go rehearse now." He then gives Chasity to me and leaves the room. Liam groans and stands up to go and get ready.
Liam goes into the bathroom to take a shower and get dressed. He comes out a couple minutes later.
"I don't think I will be that long. We can get a late lunch before the concert tonight. How does that sound?" Liam asks as he takes me by my waist. I put Chasity on the bed to let her nap some more while Liam was in the bathroom.
"That sounds great!" I say and he gives me a kiss.
"So what are you going to do when I'm gone?" Liam asks as he goes to put shoes on.
"I don't know maybe Rose and I will go shopping or something."
"Oh, well let me give you money then." Liam says as he grabs his wallet. He grabs a stack of hundred dollar bills. I look at him shocked. "What? I almost never use money and I need to go through all of this American money, before I go back in a month. Besides, I don't know if you know this but I do have quite a bit of money."
"Yea, but I can't take this. I feel guilty, it's your money." I say as he practically shoves it into my hands.
"Well we are going to share it soon anyways so what's the difference, besides I don't think you or Rose thought of changing your currency to American dollars instead of pounds." Damn it, Liam's right. I sigh and put the money in my purse.
Liam goes over and gives Chasity a kiss, then comes over and gives me one too and leaves the hotel room. I grab Chasity and the key card off of the dresser and my purse and go to get Rose from Harry's room.
I go out in the hallway and notice that the boys haven't left yet and they are waiting in the hall, Rose is with them and from what it looks like they are waiting on Zayn. From what Liam has said he is probably Skyping his family, or Perrie.
"Hey Rose, do you want to go shopping?" I ask as I go to stand by her.
"Yes! I was going to ask you the same question. I can't wait to go to the shops here! It is going to be so much fun!" Rose says eagerly.
Rose and I leave the boys to go shopping.
We go all over the place and it takes a good 5 hours out of our day. We head back to the hotel when we see a bus approach the hotel, the boys are probably back now. Rose and I attempt to make it up to the front of the crowd of girls. They are relentless I tell you. All the boys are smiling and taking pictures with random people and giving out autographs. I try to wave at Liam to get his attention and hopefully help me and Rose get out of this crowd. He finally sees me and smiles his beautiful smile and walks over to me simultaneously calling Harry over.
"Hey Love, how was shopping?" He asks and all the girls around me squeal, probably thinking that he is calling them 'love'.
"Fine, but Chasity is getting really heavy, we forgot to bring a stroller so I have been carrying her all day." I say as I lean to the side that I am holding Chasity.
"Here, let me give her to Harry so I can help you two get over the fence." Liam says as he reaches his hands out to grab the baby from me, then he passes her off to Harry who coos and starts bouncing her to make sure she doesn't cry.
Liam reaches his arms out to pick me up to help carry me over, when some girl gives him a hug thinking he is offering one. He looks at me confused, saying what the hell does she think she is doing?
"Hi, miss. Can you please let go?" Liam asks politely then the girl lets go. Instead of having open arms Liam puts out his hand to grab mine so people don't get the wrong idea this time. He reaches over the fence and puts his free arm under my legs and lifts me up and over the fence, then sets me down on the ground. He repeats the same action with Rose. Once Rose is standing on her own Liam puts an arm around my shoulders then swoops around so he is facing me and puts his free arm around my waist and dips me low to the ground.
"Have I told you how beautiful you are lately?" He asks then kisses my lips and stands me back up. I can see cameras flashing with my eyes closed as I kissed him.
"Now that I think about it no, you haven't" I say sarcastically.
"Well, then, you miss are the most beautiful girl I have ever laid my eyes on." Liam says sweetly.
"Thank you." I say and we walk into the hotel. Harry is still holding Chasity because they amuse each other. It's like watching children play.
We head up to their rooms, this time we can use the elevator which is so nice.
Instead of going to our separate rooms we all decide to hang out in Harry's room for awhile. Last time I was in a hotel room with Harry. We had a whip cream war while Liam sat there all seriously. I can't believe that was around 5 years ago.
"Auri, I don't think we can go out for lunch." Liam says to me in between laughing fits.
"Why not?" I whine.
"I don't think we are going to be able to make it out of here alive. There are so many fans outside that we won't be able to make it out until the concert tonight." Liam says stating the obvious.
"You're right. Can we order in then? If we can't go out." I ask.
"Yea, I can see what I can do." Liam says as he looks on his phone for a place that delivers.
Liam orders some pizza, seeing how everyone was craving some normal food.
It seems like we were only here for an hour or so, but now we all have to go to Madison Square Garden to go to the concert tonight.
I grab Chasity's diaper bag, we didn't bring her pack-n-play so someone is going to have to hold her the entire concert.
Liam asked if he could bring Chasity out on stage again, and how could I say no? Everyone enjoyed it so much last time.
Liam wants to hold Chasity when we go to the car, he is afraid something might happen to her. I let him because I know I will have to hold her most of the concert and this way I can have a little break before hand.
We walk out of the hotel and Liam protectively puts his arm around my waist. We walk to the bus and hop on. The girls were screaming and jumping up and down I am pretty sure I saw some crying. I just don't understand how people could be this crazy.
It takes a good 20 minutes to get to the concert hall because of all of the people in the road and traffic was terrible. Once we get there we drive through the back entrance where we are heavily escorted into the facility. I find this whole situation amazing.
The boys are whisked away to go into wardrobe and makeup while Rose and I are left to wander around. We go and look from the stage view and see that the people are slowly taking their seats for the show. There is so many people I can't believe it.
The concert starts about an hour later and I look out and see that the whole place is full to the brim. All of the boys are getting pumped up to perform while Rose and I just stand there and watch. It is pretty boring for us but we missed Liam and Harry so much that being bored here is better than doing something fun and adventurous at home.
Liam comes over to me and says, "Okay, we are going to perform a couple songs and then I will come back here to get Chasity. I wont take her out there that long though. I promise."
"You know, you don't have to make sure everything you do with Chasity is okay with me right?" I tell him.
"What do you mean?" he questions.
"You always make it seem like you have to ask permission to do stuff with Chasity. You aren't temporarily taking care of her. She is your daughter and you are just as responsible for her well being as I am. I don't care if you want to take her out there, hell I don't care if you want her out there for hours it is your call."
"I just always feel like you don't want her in the fame and I have to make sure what I am doing doesn't effect what you want for her." Liam says trying to clear up the situation I brought up.
"I realize that no matter what we do she is going to end up being part of this life. We are just going to have to embrace it."
Liam smiles and gives me a kiss and gets ready to go on stage.
Rose and I watch from backstage as the boys perform a couple songs, then in between songs Liam starts to talk.
"Okay guys! So, I don't know how many of you know but my girlfriend and daughter came all the way to New York to surprise me. And I have to say it has totally made my day. Now, I know you guys all want to see my daughter right?" He asks the crowd and then they erupt in screaming. "Great! I love you guys! I will be right back, I have to go grab her." Liam says and runs off stage.
I see him come out and I hold out Chasity who is thrilled to go to Liam. I am pretty sure she likes him more than me sometimes.
"Hi sweetie! Ready to go on stage?" Liam asks Chasity in his baby voice, and calmly walks back on the stage.
The crowd awes at the sight of the baby and Liam smiles at the reaction.
"She is adorable, isn't she?" Niall asks the crowd.
They go into another song and they play pass the baby. So whoever is currently singing is holding Chasity it is kind of cute.
Chasity starts to get fussy after the song is done. "Okay, can everyone say 'Goodnight Chasity'?" Liam asks and the crowd obeys "Thanks! She really wants her Mommy, I bet she is getting tired and hungry because it is way past her bedtime." Liam continues and comes off stage and gives Chasity to me.
"Thanks for being so wonderful!" Liam says as he kisses my cheek then Chasity's head and heads back on stage.
The concert lasts another couple hours and by the time they are done Chasity is sound asleep. We all head to the bus sleepily and our ride back to the hotel is silent.
We all go to our separate rooms and I am pretty sure that they all fell asleep as fast as Liam and I did, which is pretty much out when our heads hit the pillow.
The next day is similar to the one before, only this time Rose and I left on a plane after the second concert. Harry and Rose were hard to separate because with their wedding only a few weeks away they wanted to be together. The plane ride home was long and loud. Chasity had a hard time on the ride back probably because her ears were hurting. I couldn't wait to be home and have everything back to normal, if only for a little while.
