Aurora's POV
Yesterday when I arrived in London with Liam, we went out for lunch because Liam doesn't ever have actual food in his flat. As we got out of the car we were bombarded with fans all pressing up against his car, and paparazzi all around. It was really overwhelming. I have no idea how we did it but we got into the café, but not before I tripped and fell right into Liam's back. I felt so bad, but at least he didn't stumble forward otherwise it would have been a bad scene. I was so overwhelmed that I could barely eat even though I was starving when we got there. Liam just brushed it off like nothing happened. I tried to ignore it but sometimes it is just too much.
Today when I went to go to the grocery store to stock up Liam's cabinets because they were so bare. I was practically shoved into the store and I couldn't shop in peace which made me really aggravated.
Tonight we have to go to a New Years Eve party at a pub by the docks then we were going to go on a boat to see the fireworks.
I get back to Liam's from the store and he isn't there. Seriously? Where could he possibly go? We have a party to go to and he is just gone. I go and put away the groceries that I got for him and I see a note on the fridge saying that he had to go to the recording studio and that he will just meet me at the pub. Great I have to show up alone to a New Years Eve party. I call Rose.
"Hello?" I hear Rose answer.
"Hey, so I just got back to Liam's and he isn't here but he left me a note saying that he would meet me at the party." I almost start crying.
"Okay, well what is the problem with that?" She asks me
"Well I just… there is going to be paparazzi… and…. And…." That is when I lose it and start bawling into the phone.
"Aurora calm down it is going to be okay he will be at the party so you don't have to worry about being alone and all the rest of us are going to be there too." Rose reassured me.
"Rose, it is just so hard to handle I don't know what to do anymore. We have only been dating for 2 weeks and I am miserable now."
"It will get better, don't worry! I barely even notice them now because I have gotten used to them when I am around Harry."
"Maybe you're right I have to go get ready but I will see you at the party."
"Bye! See you there!" With that I hang up the phone and go grab my silver dress from my suitcase in Liam's room.
I go and take a shower and put on make up and blow dry my hair and twist it up in a braided bun. I put on my makeup with smoky eyes and pink lipstick. I put on my dress and grab a pair of silver stiletto heels. I went shopping with Nici earlier this week to get a dress for tonight.
I call a cab and then I grab my purse and phone and go downstairs to the lobby to wait for the cab. When the cab arrives I tell him the address, he looks at me funny and tells me "You know the guest list for that pub tonight it very exclusive, are you sure you don't want me to take you somewhere else?"
"No, that is where I want to go. Thank you for telling me though." I smile weakly at him.
We arrive and I see a bunch of paparazzi. This is what I was dreading going in alone, without Liam. I hate this so much. Why can't he just be my plain old Liam? I smile trying to look like I belong when I know I really don't. I enter the pub and I immediately look for someone I know. I don't see anyone so I venture over to the bar to get a pop because I am really thirsty but I really don't think that it would be a good idea to drink with all of these people watching. I continue looking for someone and I see Niall. Thank God! I head over to him.
"Niall!" I yell. He turns and looks at me and smiles. He was talking to some girls. Great. I roll my eyes.
"Aurora! Where's Liam?" He asks me as he gives me a half hug.
"Wait?!? You're Liam's girlfriend right?" One of the girls ask.
"Um, yea. I don't know where Liam is he said that he had to go to the recording studio and that he would meet me here." I inform Niall.
"Oh, I am sure that he will be here soon." Niall says trying to cheer me up. "You can hang out with me until he gets here."
"I would love that Ni!" I smile and he wraps his hand around my waist and chuckles.
He turns back to the girls he was talking to and then it clicked that I have no idea who these people are, "Oh these are um… I'm sorry what is your name again?"
The brunette with a very tight and short dress says "Hi, I'm Bridgette, and this is Kelli, with an I" She said pointing to the platinum blonde with a really weird blue jumpsuit. I don't know why Niall is talking to these people. They are so fake it isn't even funny.
"Ni, do you know when Harry and Rose are getting here? I talked to Rose earlier but she never said."
"Harry didn't tell me anything. No one tells me anything." Niall pouts. I laugh.
"I will tell you stuff Ni, just ask." We are totally ignoring the girls right now I think they are just basking in the presence of Niall which I find really funny because he is just Niall to me not some famous dude. All the boys are really.
"This is why you're my favorite girlfriend of the group."
"Awe I am touched!"
"Aurora!" I hear a girl scream. I know that voice anywhere, Rose.
I turn and see her barreling over in a turquoise dress. I leave Niall's grasp and turn to give Rose a hug. She is in a really bubbly mood right now.
"Where is Liam? I thought you said he would meet you here." Rose asks as soon as she leaves the hug.
"He isn't here yet. I don't know when he will be here. I didn't think anyone was here until I saw Niall talking to these girls." I say and point over my shoulder who are now almost drooling because Harry came over with Rose.
"I'm sorry. We should have left sooner Harry." She says as she turns to Harry.
"Sorry. I didn't know that Liam wasn't with Aurora." Harry says. "Hey do you want to dance?" He asks Rose.
"Um… well I don't want to leave Aurora alone." Rose says.
"It's fine, maybe I will dance with Niall." I say silently asking Niall if he would dance with me.
"I would by honored." Niall says and we follow Harry and Rose to the dance floor. We dance for about an hour and then finally Liam shows up. It was about 10:30 when he finally makes his appearance. I am really mad at him right now. He shouldn't have to work on New Years Eve this late.
"Aurora." Liam says as he comes over to me and Niall dancing.
"Liam." I say nonchalantly still dancing with Niall.
"I'm sorry" I ignore him. "I know you're pissed at me."
"You got that right!" I tell him.
"Will you forgive me?" He gives me a puppy dog look.
I can't resist. So I stop dancing. "I guess so" I smile at him. He leans down and gives me a kiss. I am still a little mad at him but I guess I can look past it for now I mean it is New Years Eve. I dance with Liam for a little bit then, Liam and I head over to the bar to get away from all of the people on the dance floor. "You look really beautiful tonight" He whispers in my ear.
"Don't try to sweet talk me I am still a little mad at you right now." I say and glare at him.
"I really wish I didn't have to go to the studio." He says.
"Me too! I had to show up here alone and you know how much I hate the paparazzi." I complain.
"It isn't my fault you could have come with Rose and Harry or I am sure Niall would have been happy to bring you I mean you looked pretty friendly dancing with him."
"Don't give me that crap! I don't like Niall like that. He is just a friend. Besides he was actually here at a normal time instead of over an hour late." He is just getting me more and more mad.
"Oh yea like I was just a friend." Liam says to me.
"Liam you were just a friend because I didn't know you liked me like that so you don't get to use that as an argument."
"I don't know what you want from me. I told you that I would meet you here and I did I didn't break my promise."
"I never said you did! I am just so aggravated with you lately. First the people pretty much tackle me when we go to lunch yesterday, and then today when I go and buy you food because you were out I pretty much got beat up by the paparazzi and they wouldn’t leave me alone when I wanted to shop and they are probably judging the things that I bought because there might be some health article about how bad some things that I bought are. Then when I get here alone I am about to lose it. Do you know how embarrassing it is to how up to a party without a date which you know you are supposed to have with you? The only person who I could talk to was Niall. And now you are hounding me about dancing with one of my friends and one of your friends too none the less." I just have to let it all out.
"Aurora…" Liam says trying to calm me down.
"No! I need some space. This is not how I wanted things to happen." With that I leave out the back door and I start walking back to Liam's flat to pack my things. I didn't want to break up with him but I don’t have another option I am going crazy. I quickly pack up once I reach is flat. I leave a note saying 'I can't do this anymore, you need to find someone who can handle all of this and that person isn't me' and leave for the train station to go back home.
Liam's POV
Aurora just needs some fresh air. She will calm down and everything will be fine, I hope. I board the boat to see the fireworks around 11:30. I look around for Aurora. She wouldn't miss the fireworks, she loves fireworks it is her favorite part of New Years. I continue looking around the boat. It is 5 minutes to midnight. I am climbing the stairs to the top deck I see Perrie and Zayn.
"Hey have you seen Aurora?" I ask them. They shake their head.
"I thought she was with you." Perrie says.
"She said she needed some fresh air and I haven't seen her since." I say and continue looking for her. I see Niall leaning on the railing I walk over to him. I sigh as I lean next to him. Niall has a beer in his hand.
"Hey man! What's bringing you down?" Niall asks me.
"I can't find Aurora anywhere and it is almost midnight."
"She was really pissed earlier when you were late man. Maybe she just needs to collect herself for a little bit."
"It is more than just me being late Ni. It isn't even all about me. She hates all the press and the fans. She told me she needs space and I don't know what that means." I turn and leave Niall hoping that she was here. The fireworks go off and I still don't see Auri, I do however see Rose and Harry kiss. I feel like this should surprise me more. Harry stops kissing Rose and he has a huge smile on his face. He runs over to me and starts shaking my shoulders.
"She said Yes! She finally said Yes! After 2 years of asking her Rose said that she would be my girlfriend! I am so happy! I have to go find Aurora. Do you know where she is?" Harry says.
"No…" I look down at the ground.
"Liam, what did you do?" Harry asks all serious, his mood just dropped.
"She said she needed space and she left the pub and I haven't seen her since I don't know what happened." Rose comes over and hears what I said.
"Oh no! She didn't" Rose gasps. I feel like I am missing something.
"What?" I ask her.
"Liam, I don't think she is coming back." Rose says.
"She wouldn't just leave I mean she is my girlfriend"
"I don't know if that statement is true anymore. She was crying earlier today because she is so miserable with you." Rose said.
"She told you that she is miserable?" I can't believe this. She should have told me we could have worked it out. I could have made changes…. No I couldn't have. She is miserable because of the press, she told me and I just made it worse. I just lost the only person I have ever loved and probably will ever love. I have to get off this boat now. Too bad we are on here for another hour. Ugh this totally sucks.
The boat finally docks and I rush off and go find my car to drive back to my place, hopefully she didn't leave yet. I get there and all the lights are off and I know she isn't here. I look in my bedroom and see that her stuff is gone. I sit on the bed and drop my head into my hands. What have I done? Why didn't I keep our relationship in private? I was too excited that she liked me back that I wasn't careful around our relationship and with that I destroyed it. I get up to go get a drink of water from the fridge. I see a note on the counter 'I can't do this anymore, you need to find someone who can handle all of this and that person isn't me' it was from Auri. She wanted me to find someone else? No one can replace her she is one of a kind. I need to call her and tell her that. I call her cell phone and it goes to voice mail. I knew she was rejecting my calls. I try again and again. I really want to call her home phone but I know they are probably sleeping so I should wait till the morning. I decide to try and get some sleep. That wasn't happening because I miss Auri too much. We need to talk about this I need her back.
I wake up at noon, huh? I actually slept. I get up and try calling her cell phone, voicemail again. I can't leave a voicemail I need her to respond to what I am saying. I call her house phone. Her mom picks up.
"Hello?"
"Hey Mum, this is Liam."
"Hi sweetie! How are you?" She asks.
"I'm fine. Is Aurora there? She isn't answering her cell."
"No you just missed her, she is already heading back to school. She starts classes tomorrow."
"Okay, thank you!" I hang up the phone. She is gone. I don't have time to go visit her, I am really busy right now. I pick up my phone again and I call Rose.
"Hello?" Rose answers.
"Hey Rose, can you do me a favor?" I ask her.
"Yea sure, what do you want?"
"Can you convince Aurora to call me? I need to talk to her. She is gone. She left me a note saying that it is over and I just need to talk to her about it."
"Liam, I am with Aurora right now. She told me there is nothing to talk about she said she told you everything yesterday."
"Can you please put her on?" I beg.
"No… she told me to tell you that she needs space from you and that includes talking to you. Liam, she talked to me earlier, I think it is for the best that you broke up, even though I totally ship you two, she has been having a lot of mental break downs lately and they always happen after being with you. I am thinking of her health and you should too. I have to go Aurora needs me. Let her call you when she is ready okay?"
"Okay, bye Rose." I hang up the phone. How am I going to handle not talking to her?

Wow this chapter is super looong. Holy cow. Well um I hope you like it. More will be posted tomorrow....hopefully.

Eliza and I just watched the Lego Movie....omg it was so good. Haha yea we know how to do college right. Well that's really all I got right now. Hope you have a stellar weekend!!
