Right In Front of Your Eyes

Liam's POV
I woke up and saw a bunch of blonde hair sprawled all over my pillow. I smile thinking about waking up to her every morning. I wish that she was done with school already so she could move to London to live with me. We haven't really discussed it yet I just assume that we are never going to break up and she is always going to be there. I lean over and softly kiss Auri's head. She shifts around.
"Wake up sunshine!" I whisper into her ear. She turns over and looks at me and smiles.
"Hey handsome. What time is it?" She asks me.
"It is 9 am" I say looking over at the clock on my nightstand.
"Ugh! I have to go soon!" She sighs.
"You could just stay in bed with me all day!" I suggest.
"Yes because my parents would just love that considering I have to go to my Grandma's house today for my family get together." She says as she gets out of my bed the shirt barely covered her underwear.
"I could come with you." I offered. Knowing I shouldn't because I am supposed to spend time with my family when I am home considering I am never home.
"No thank you! I am pretty sure your family wants you home instead of always with me." She gets up and walks over to where she put her clothes on the floor and puts on her jeans. She turns and takes off my shirt to put on her bra and other shirt. I can't help but stare at her back. She is so flawless. I wish I would have told her I loved her sooner.
"I can feel your eyes on me" I hear Auri tell me with her back still turned to me.
"What? I can't look at my perfect girlfriend?" She laughs at me. "It is true!"
"Whatever you say. I have to go though. I will see you on the 23rd for our Christmas dinner. Love you!" She leans down and gives me a kiss and leaves my room. Today was only the 20th, damn it is going to be a long three days.
*Christmas Dinner*
I hear a knock at the door. I knew that it would be Aurora and her parents. It was 5 pm so they were right on time. I go and answer the door and see a smiling Aurora in a sweater dress with leggings and heeled boots. She is just too beautiful to handle. "Hello Beautiful!" I say as I give her a kiss.
"Hey Mum! Hey Dad! It is great to see you again" I say as I give Auri's parents a hug. They walk in and her Dad goes to the living room to find my Dad and her Mom goes in the kitchen where Nici and my Mom are. This leaves me and Auri in the front entrance.
"So you will never guess what happened when I was at my Grandma's house the other day." Auri says as soon as we are alone.
"What?" I ask really curious.
"So I was about to leave my Grandma's house when I see paparazzi start taking pictures of me. The funniest part of the whole situation was that I was no where near you." Auri fake laughs. I know she is really pissed. She hates the press.
"I'm sorry I have no control over them." I say apologetically.
"I know it is just really hard to get used to the fact that I am dating someone who is famous, to me you are just plain old Liam with a really amazing voice." She has a genuine smile on her face now.
"Come on, let's go to the kitchen to see if my Mom needs help." We walk to the kitchen hand in hand.
"Aurora!" My mom squeals and rushes over to give her a hug. Sometimes I think my mom likes Auri more than me.
"Auri! We so have to talk!" Nici says as she drags Auri away from me. "Liam why don't you go join Dad and Mr. Green in the living room?" I don’t move so she urges "It wasn't a suggestion, now move mister." I go into the living room and sit by Auri's dad on the couch.
Aurora's POV
"Nici what do you want?" I whine.
"You have to tell me about how my brother finally had the courage to ask you out." Nici says.
"He really didn't, I was at a concert even though I said that I would never go to one because of the train station fiasco and he dedicated a song for me unbeknownst to him that I was in the audience then Harry told him in front of everyone that I was in fact there. Then after the concert I was talking to Rose and said that I was afraid that he didn't still like me and I didn't want to ruin our friendship by saying that I love him and he over heard us then one thing lead to another and we started dating."
"Awe! That is so sweet! Do you think it will last?" She asked me. I was not expecting that question. I really haven't thought about it.
"I want to… I really do it is just sometimes the paparazzi are really bad, it has nothing to do with him I just like my privacy sometimes."
"I understand, I am lucky that I am his sister because I barely get any press because they only care about the boys and their love life."
"Sucks for me because I am part of the love life category." I laugh. "Can we go back to the kitchen? Dinner has to be almost done and I am starving."
"Yea let's go!" We walk back into the kitchen were our moms were finishing up some last minute touches.
Everyone sits down at the table and we have a nice meal. I sit next to Liam and my mom, my dad is sitting next to her and Liam's dad is sitting next to him then Nici is sitting across from me and Liam and finally Liam's mom is sitting at the other head of the table. I always enjoyed celebrating Christmas here. If this is how the how the rest of my life would look then I am happy with the outcome. We finish dinner and some how me and Liam are the ones who end up doing all of the dishes which probably wasn't a good idea. Liam decided that my hair would look fantastic with bubbles in it, and I decided that he looked a little thirsty so I sprayed him with water. In the end we finished up all the dishes and the kitchen looked pretty clean from all of the soap and water that was thrown around in it. Liam and I were soaking wet from head to foot and laughing hysterically. He leans down and kisses me. "You are so cute when you are all wet" He winks at me.
"Not bad you're self Payne." I smile and kiss him again. "I am going to go ask Nici if I can borrow some of her clothes."
I go into the living room and everyone was talking about me and Liam which was weird but I am pretty sure that our moms and Nici were planning our wedding and our dads were discussing something about how maybe we will have enough kids to have a nice football team to set up. I don't know what to think of this. "Nici" I call which stops everyone from talking.
"Oh my gosh! What happened to you Auri? I thought you were doing dishes." Nici asks me.
"Let's just say Liam thought that it would be funny to try and give me a bath fully clothed and in the kitchen. Don't worry though we cleaned up after ourselves" I assure Liam's mom.
"Yea let's go get clothes for you." We walk up to her room and she grabs a nice sweater and a pair of jeans. I thank her and go change in the bathroom. I go downstairs to go grab my present for Liam and I head up to his room. I enter without knocking. He doesn't have any clothes on so I stop dead in my tracks "Sorry! I should have knocked." I say and I am about to back out of his room.
"It's fine just sit on my bed as I finish getting dressed, I just hope no one else comes barging in without knocking."
I sit on his bed and wait for him to finish getting dressed. When he is done he goes in his closet and grabs a present, presumably for me then sits on the bed next to me. I give him my present first because I prefer just to get the present giving over with. He opens it and pulls out a dark blue University of Glasgow sweatshirt.
He smiles at me and kisses my cheek "I love it! I am going to wear it all the time. Just think of all the people who will want to go there just because I am wearing it." I smile, I am glad he likes it.
He gives me my present. I open it, it is a jewelry box. I look at him really confused.
"I was going to give this to you if we were dating or not, don't worry. I saw it and I knew I had to buy it for you." He informs me.
I open the box to reveal a necklace with a tulip pendant, my favorite flower. The petal part of the flower is made out of a pearl and the stem is made out of some type of crystal.
"It is real diamond if you were wondering" Liam tells me. So scratch the crystal comment. I can't believe that he bought me this.
"Liam, it is way too much. I am not worth buying something this extravagant for." I say trying to give it back.
"Auri, money doesn't matter to me and you deserve something ten times more valuable than this. I want you to have it." Liam says. I don’t know what to say so I kiss him. I put my free hand in his hair and pull him closer to me. I drop the jewelry box on his bed and scoot closer to him. He brings his hands on my waist as I put my other hand in his hair as well. I situate myself so I am now straddling Liam on the bed. Liam moans in response to me sitting on him. I bring my hands down to his shoulders and push him back onto the bed. Right now my body is hovering over his and my knees are on either side of his hips. I pull on his shirt as I continue kissing him. I pull it over his head and momentarily part our lips I throw his shirt somewhere on the floor.
"Auri" Liam moans my name as his hands wonder up my shirt. His hands start to pull my shirt over my body. I sit up and put my arms up to let him take off my shirt. As the sweater goes over my head I hear the door open and a gasp come from the doorway. My sweater is still on my arms so I quickly pull it back down and look behind me as I sit down on Liam which is probably a bad thing because he groans, but not the pain groan, a sexual groan. Well we might have another Harry situation. I turn and see Nici is standing in the doorway.
"I… uh… should've known… or….. Um should've knocked before I came in. But Auri, your parents told me to come and tell you that it is time to leave." Nici says as she quickly closes the door again.
"I think I need to get a sign that says 'Please Knock' on my door." Liam says and I laugh.
"Well I have to go, thank you for the present I love it, but I love you more" I lean in and give him a kiss "I recommend you go freshen up in the bathroom before you come down and say goodbye to my parents, if you get my drift." I get off of Liam and grab my jewelry box and head downstairs.
I head to the front door where my parents, Liam's parents and Nici was standing.
"Where is Liam?" His mom asks me.
"He had to go to the bathroom." I say.
"Sure he did" Nici said as she rolled her eyes I shot her a death glare.
"He will be down in a second don't worry." I say as I go and stand by my parents.
I go over and give Liam's dad a hug and say "It was great spending time with you." I give Liam's mom a hug and say "You make the best Christmas dinner I can't wait till next year! I will try and come over whenever I am home even if Liam isn't here I promise."
His mom then says "Thank you sweetie! And you are always welcome here remember that."
I turn to Nici and whisper "Sorry you had to see that!" Then I say a little bit louder "We are going to have to hang out later this week".
Liam finally comes down the stairs. He gives my parents hugs and says his goodbyes.
Nici whispers back to me "Please wash my clothes before giving them back because I don't want to know what you got on them" I laugh and agree to do so.
I turn to Liam and give him a kiss "Bye, I love you! I will see you sometime after Christmas"
"Love you too beautiful! And I am counting on it." He smiles and me and my parents leave to go back to our house. I fall asleep instantly when I get to my bedroom I am so exhausted from everything that happened today.
