Aurora's POV
It has been 2 years since the paparazzi fiasco. It was now my junior year of college. Nothing has happened really. I am still really good friends with Liam we talk every single day no matter what even if it was just a 'Hey'. We Skype at least once a week even if it was only for five minutes. It was great to be so close to him again. I have seen Liam about 6 times in person since that dreaded day. We saw each other on our birthdays and on Christmas. Ever since Luke met Liam he has been more distant. He doesn't put his arm around me and our study dates are never the same. Rose and Harry became really close friends I think that Rose likes Harry because she is always talking about him, and we all know that Harry has always had a crush on Rose. Harry has had some 'girlfriends' at least that is what the press calls them, but we get all of the juice from Harry that they are all just people who want to hang out with him and he has no interest in them. For Liam's birthday, he had a party which I was invited to of course but he specifically had it as a costume party so no one could tell who actually went because of the train station fiasco. However, Liam gathered the people closest to him in the basement living room which was off limits to everyone but a select few, such as me and Rose, the boys, and Zayn's girlfriend Perrie and Louis' girlfriend Eleanor. I immediately became really close to them because they understand the difficulties of being around the boys.
I am currently sitting in my dorm room at my desk studying for my math final for the fall semester which is coming up in a couple weeks and I have no idea how to do some of these problems. I just took a break from studying and I am looking at pictures of me and Liam that are in my desk drawer. We were so cute as little kids. I hear the door open and close and see Rose just bursted in the room.
"Aurora! Guess what I have!" She says as she starts jumping up and down.
"I have no idea." I say
"I just got back from meeting Harry at the coffee shop! He says 'Hi' by the way he just didn't have time to come say hi himself and I knew that you were studying…"
"Rose! Get to the point!"
"Well he gave me 2 tickets for their concert coming up in a couple weeks! The one before Christmas!" She said still jumping up and down.
"Why would he give you two tickets? You aren't going to bring a date are you? Because that would just break poor little Harry's heart."
"No silly! I am bringing you!"
"Rose, you know I don't go to their concerts ever." I inform her.
"I know but it has been 2 years since that happened can't you just loosen up and just go to one concert with me? What is the harm in that? And we can hang out with them afterwards and it will be so much fun! I hear that Perrie and Eleanor are going to have seats right next to us so it will be like a girls night!"
"I am just so afraid that it is going to end badly all over again." I complain.
"How about I promise that it won't end badly again? I really want you to come and you know what maybe you don't even have to go backstage after the concert you can just go home."
"Rose you do realize that if the boys know I am going that they are going to make me stay afterwards."
"Well what if Harry is the only one that knows! Then he won't make you stay afterwards. Please? I am sure that all the guys would love you to see them perform just once."
"Ugh fine! But I am leaving right afterwards." I turn back to studying.
"Yay! I am going to tell Harry and remind him that he can't tell anyone." Rose runs off to somewhere in the room. It might be fun to actually go to one of their concerts. Now that I think about it more and more I am getting more and more excited. I just have to remind myself that I can't tell Liam because if he knows he would for sure make me stay after and hang out with them.

*A couple weeks Later… Day of the Concert*
I get dressed and put on the shirt that Liam gave me last Christmas that said 'I Was Born To Love Liam Payne' in bright red letters. He did it as a joke because he thought it was funny and that I should own some of his merchandise. He never did buy me a cut out but I was perfectly okay with that...the Harry cut out in our room was good enough for me. I put on a pair of skinny jeans and a pair of silver sparkly converse. I look and see that Rose is still in bed. I go over and shake her awake "Rose you have to start getting ready for the concert"
"Hmm? What time is it?" Rose says.
"It is almost two in the afternoon and we have to leave here in an hour just to make it to the concert by the time it starts." I say and Rose shot out of bed and rushed to take a shower and put clothes on.
I go and put on my make up with bright red lipstick and I let my hair down in waves and added a red headband.
"We are going to be late! Harry is going to kill me! He is never going to let me live this down." Rose said as she scurried back and forth grabbing stuff from all over the room.
"Chill we will be fine don't worry." I say to her.
We finally leave our dorm and head to a car that was waiting for us. It was sent by Harry because he wanted Rose to ride in style. The concert is here in Glasgow so it isn't that far away.
We arrive right on time. The entrance gates are about to close but thankfully because we are considered VIP they let us in. We walk and go towards the front row. Man it is nice to be friends with the band you are seeing. The boys just got out on stage when we reach our seats. The whole concert hall erupted in cheers that I thought I lost my hearing for a second. When Rose and I see Perrie and Eleanor we give them a hug saying that we missed them and it was so good to see them again of course they couldn't hear us over the screaming girls.
Liam's POV
The lights flashed on before I saw anyone in the audience. It was crazy how many people come to these things. I am never going to get used to this feeling. Harry was unnaturally excited for this concert, it was probably because Rose was here. We started singing our set. Then it got to the song that I wrote for Aurora. I wrote it when Aurora was dating Toby. I was writing it in her room when she was at the dance with Toby, I wished that I could be there at the dance with her instead of him, I deserved to be there. I was so heartbroken this was the only way to relieve the pain. I have to give background for this song because I wrote it and Harry was really persistent that I needed to do it at this concert.
"Okay this song was written for the person that means the most to me in this world, my best friend and other half. Too bad she will never know it is for her." I say.
"Not so true Liam! She is in the audience tonight!" Harry screams as the music starts playing. Oh Shit! Aurora is here? She said that she would never come to my concerts! That is why I always could say the real background to the song. I wish I could just walk off the stage but the music starts so I can't. My only option is to start singing, 'I Wish'

Aurora's POV
Liam wrote that song for me? Oh my God! He loves me. He actually loves me. Not just as a friend. I turn to Rose really confused.
"He wrote the song about me? I remember him singing it to me a couple years ago after I went to the dance with this guy named Toby" I say to her.
"Duh! Harry and I have been planning this for a whole month! Finally our ship is sailing again! Wait?!? You have already heard the song? Awe! That is sooo sweet" Rose was jumping up and down.
I turn to Perrie and Eleanor to see if they knew. "You didn't know that he was in love with you?" Perrie asked me.
"No, how could I possibly know?"
"The first time I met you I thought you guys were dating because you guys are so obviously in love with each other. When you said you weren't I just assumed you knew but you just didn't want the whole fame life." Eleanor said.
"Well it looks like I am staying after the concert after all…" I say as I sigh. I am still trying to wrap my brain around the fact that Liam wrote a song for me. He actually wrote a love song for me. My best friend who I have loved for as long as I can remember has been in love with me for that long too. I am currently overjoyed.
The concert continues and during the last song Rose, Perrie, Eleanor and I were escorted behind stage to meet the boys. I am actually afraid to talk to my best friend right now. I don't know what to say. Maybe he doesn't feel the same way about me now. I mean that was almost 3 years ago.
"Rose, what if he doesn’t still feel the same way about me when he wrote the song?" I ask trying to collect my piece of mind.
"If he didn't still like you then why would he sing the song and dedicate it to you?" Rose says
"Maybe he did it because that is how he has always dedicated it and he can't change it now. I mean a lot has changed since then." I argue.
I see Perrie and Eleanor run past me presumably to the boys. I can't turn around to see if Liam is there. I am not ready yet.
"I really doubt that!" Rose tells me.
"Rose, I'm really scared… I don't want to lose my best friend by telling him that I love him back if he doesn't feel the same way any more." I say and I see Rose's eyes wander to a person right behind me. I hope to God it is Harry. "Rose please tell me that it was only Harry who has over heard me confess my love to Liam" Rose shakes her head, her eyes were wide. I slowly turn my head and see Liam looking at me shocked. He regains his composure then leans down and kisses me. I kiss him back. His lips were so soft. Then he increased the pressure on my lips as he grabs my head and pulls me closer to him. I grab his waist in response. We continue kissing until I hear one of the boys clear their voice.
"I am so glad that you guys are together and all but we should really go further back stage because people in the audience can see you currently" Louis says.
I break off the kiss, but Liam doesn't stop he starts kissing my jawline and down my neck unable to stop kissing me. "What do you mean people can see us?" I say as I look off stage and see people flashing pictures. Well I guess there was no hiding this from the press or even covering it up considering Liam was all over me. What the hell? I don't care about people anymore I am actually happy for the first time in my life. "Liam" I moan. "Liam!" I say this time with more urgency.
"What precious?" He asks between kisses on my neck.
"We should go somewhere more private if you are going to keep doing this" I say.
"I don't care what people think. I want the whole world to know that you love me and I love you!" Liam says as he momentarily stops kissing me. Then he brings his lips back down to mine. His hands move to my waist and then he picked me up and I wrapped my legs around his waist and he started walking further backstage.
"I am starting to feel really uncomfortable. I am afraid they are going to do it right here on the floor with all of us watching. There was way too much sexual tension built up for thirteen years." I hear Niall say to the rest of the group.
"Shut up Horan!" I hear Liam say against my lips.
"Seriously Niall? We have been working on this for years don't ruin it now!" Rose says to Niall.
We reach the room backstage where the guys get ready for the concert. I stop kissing Liam and unwrap my legs from around him. "Liam, we need to stop. We shouldn't go too far too fast. I mean we only started dating."
"But I have known you my whole life I have 13 years to make up for. So fast is the only way to catch up" I start walking away and Liam grabs me from behind and starts kissing my neck again. "You know I have never seen a girl wear that shirt sexier than you do." He says against my neck.
"You're the only one who probably thinks that. Seriously though you should stop because I don't think I could resist from jumping you."
"I am sure you're fine I should be the one worrying." Liam responded.
"Liam remember the morning after the party when you lost your boxers?" I ask.
"Yes how could I forget that was probably the most embarrassing morning of my life. I woke up to a beautiful girl and I wasn't wearing any clothes and we didn't even do anything." Liam said as he shivered and laughed.
"I was about to jump you then and we didn't even kiss. What makes you think that it won't happen now?"
Liam stops kissing me finally and backs away knowing that my threat was true. "You can jump me some other time, maybe when we are in private" Liam says as he whispers into my ear. We walk over to where everyone else was.
"So do we need to worry about little Liam's running around yet?" Louis asks jokingly.
"No!" I laugh.
"Hey it was a serious question! I mean I didn't think that being part of Harry's plan to make Aurora realize that Liam is in love with her was going to result in so much touching." Louis continued.
"I am just so excited! Everything worked out perfectly!" Rose said as she started jumping up and down. Harry walked over and put his arm around her to calm her down. He also whispered something in her ear that no one could hear. Rose blushed at whatever Harry told her. Man I wish that Rose would just say yes to when Harry asked her to be his girlfriend, on the first of every single month. He did it on the first because he says that she is his number one girl.
I look around to see that Zayn and Perrie have already left the group and Niall is just absorbing all that is going on. I think he feels like he is living in a movie sometimes. Eleanor was about to pass out on Louis and Rose and Harry were now whispering in each others ears back and forth.
"Can I officially call you my girlfriend?" Liam whispers in my ear.
"I don't know can you?" I smart mouth back.
"I think I can! Are you going to come over for Christmas dinner again this year?" He asks. Christmas was next week and it was practically the only time of year that we are both for sure going to be home.
"I haven't missed one yet!" I say proudly.
"Good! So you know what I am beat. Do you want to come over to my hotel and sleep?"
"I don't know I have my last final on Monday and I really need to study for it so I don't really know if that is a good idea"
"Come on! What's one night?" Liam kisses me again on the neck.
"The way we are going one night would lead to two which would lead to three and I would end up missing my final and not even study for it." I say knowing that I am right.
"Okay, fine but you owe me one night when you come home for Christmas. Promise?"
"I promise. Good night! I love you." I say as I start to head out knowing that Rose is probably going to crash at Harry's or she is just going to stay super late.
"Hey aren't you forgetting something?" Liam comes over and gives me a kiss that lasts for about 10 seconds and I can barely pull away from him. He is just so damn hard to resist. "I love you too!" He says.
With that I leave and when I get to my dorm I go over what just happened.
