Just Another Fairy Tale

*Niall's POV*


"You okay?" Harry asks me, placing a hand on my shoulder.

"I just hope she's okay.." I mumble. A doctor walks inside.

"Is anyone here for Ms. Cole?" The doctor asks. I stand first, the Harry, Tiffany, Liam, Zayn, Perrie, Louis and Eleanor. Just then the door slides open. We all look over and see Crystal, Haylie, Layla and Josh.

"Sorry we're late." Crystal says.

"Oh um, hey." Harry says, confused.

"What are they doing here?" Harry asks. I shrug.

"Okay, close friends." The doctor says. Crystal, Haylie, Layla and Josh take a seat.

"Well, I guess you could all go in-" The doctor starts. We all race down the hall to Amanda's room. I stop.

"Wait." I say. They all stop and turn.

"What?" Louis asks.

"We don't know what room she is." I say.

"Yes. You passed it." The doctor says and walk the other way. We all follow him.

"She's in here." The doctor stops in front of a room. I place my hand on the door, about to turn it but I stop. Why? I think about things that might happen when I walk through. She doesn't remember me? Again? What if that actually happens but her memory loss is worse than last time.

"Ehm, Niall, are you gonna open it?" Eleanor asks. I turn and face my group of friends, who is waiting for me to open the door. I nod and open it, then get trampled by everyone pushing me.

"Amanda! You okay?" Louis goes first. Everyone quiets down.

"I-I'm fine.. One question." She mumbles. We all nod.

"Who are you people?" She asks.

"Oh it's happening again.." I mumble, a hand running through my hair. Harry hands her a water bottle.

"Drink." He says. She nods and grabs the bottle. She gulps down a bit of water, then hands it back to Harry.

"Do you remember any names?" Tiffany asks.

"Yes. I remember everyone in my life. Just not in exact detail. I know Louis, my guy best friend, Tiffany, my girl best friend, Liam, Zayn, Harry, Perrie, Eleanor, Crystal, Jamie, Haylie, Layla, Josh, Jordan, Justine, Megan... god I hate her, Dylan, Ed, Michelle, my foster parents and my real parents. If you'd like me to go person by person saying what I know about them go ahead." She says.

"Y-You don't remember Niall?" Perrie asks.

"Who?" She asks. All eyes go to me. They move out of my way so Amanda sees me.

"You must be Niall. I don't believe we met before."

*Before Amanda was hung*

"Give her the forgetness syrup before she sleeps." Megan says, handing Kenna the syrup.

"She will only forget the person she loves the most. She will remember everyone else, not perfectly, she will still forget some things. But she will always gain her memory for them. The only way she will remember the person she loves the most, is if he or she goes to extreme measures. Like, committing suicide." Megan says, Kenna nods.

"And the person Amanda loves the most is...?" Kenna asks.

"Niall. You idiot." Megan says. Kenna reads it.

"Mm. Like Niall would ever commit suicide. So, she won't ever remember Niall and we can get back at her in the hospital and kill her once and for all." Kenna smiles.

"Exactly. Amanda is going to sleep now. Give her a glass of water and mix it with the syrup. When she wakes up, she will remember everyone but Niall. Go now." Megan says, handing Kenna a glass. She nods.

"Genius, Megan." She says and walk upstairs. She fills the glass 3 quarters with water then mixes a bit of syrup with it until it's clear and looks like water. She bring the glass upstairs and into Amanda's room.

"Amanda, care for a drink?" She asks. Amanda drops what she was doing (cleaning) and grab the glass.

"Thank you." She says. She gulps down the whole glass in seconds.

"That tasted weird." She mumbles.

"Back to work!" Kenna yells and slaps Amanda. Her long nails tearing her skin in the process.

*Present time*

"So you don't know whoI am? Niall James Horan..? Your boyfriend?" I ask. She just laughs.

"You're funny and really cute. I've been single since middle school but if you really wanna date me just ask me. " She smiles. I feel tears run down my face. I wipe them.

"Excuse me." I mumble and walk out the door. I can't go through this again.

"Niall wait!" I hear Eleanor's voice catch up with me.

*Amanda's POV*


Eleanor runs after the.. what's his name kid.

"What just happened?" I ask.

"Amanda, he is your boyfriend!" Liam steps forward. I gulp.

"I think I would remember that.." I mumble.

"Did they hit you on the head? Megan or her side kicks?" Zayn asks.

"No. I just go cuts, scrapes and they gave me weird tasting foods." I mumble.

"They must have given her some kind of food or drink of medicine that makes you forget the person you love the most. Since she has no real blood-related family anymore, that person she loves the most must be Niall and there is no doubt about it." Tiffany blurts.

"Aww." Perrie gasps.

"Babe!" Zayn yells.

"I am so sorry they are just the cutest!" She jumps. I raise an eyebrow.

"That means she forgets all her memories will Niall, memories with us while she's with Niall. That means she forgot almost everything." Harry says.

"Amanda?" Louis kneels in front of her. I nods.

"Do you remember hearing something from Megan a few nights ago?" He asks. I then think back to the night before I was hung

"Yes. Something like.. She will only forget the person she loves the most. She will remember everyone else but not perfectly.." I mumble.

"Do you remember anything else she said?" Louis asks. I nod my head 'no'

"Alright, thank you." He says then stands. Eleanor and the blonde kid walks back into the room. The guy takes a seat. Louis sits beside the blonde guy. He's quiet while talking but I can hear him.

"Amanda says Megan gave her a medicine, food or water that made her forget the person she loves the most. She remembers the rest of us, not perfectly. But she doesn't remember you at all. There must be a way. Like, if you make her feel good or if you do something extreme or if you say things that she always used to say to you in the past. Maybe that will trigger her memory of you." Louis says. The blonde kid nods.

"Maybe. I feel better knowing this didn't naturally happen." He says. Louis stands up.

"Mr. Horan?" The doctor walks in. The blonde kids stands up and walks out of the room

*Niall's POV*


"Yes?" I ask.

"It looks like Amanda has ripped tissue, bone damage, teared up skin and loss of memory. Though this time it didn't come for a hard hit or nearly dying. It seems she has this sort of liquid running through her blood vanes. We've taken a blood sample and that sort of liquid causes her to forget her most loved person. In that case it's you. She has foster parents who are never around. Her blood-related family died. So as you are her boyfriend. She doesn't remember you." The doctor explains.

"The ripped tissue, teared skin and bone damage we can take care of. But our computer is telling us our system hasn't found a cure for the liquid. We will try our best to see if we can gain her memory of love for you again. I'm sorry sir." The doctor says. I nod.

"Thank you for that notice." I reply. He walks off to the lab close by. He even said she loves me. I walk into the room with a smile.

"Someone looks happy considering their girlfriend doesn't remember them." Eleanor says.

"The doctor and all of you guys just told me I'm the person Amanda loves the most. I know she doesn't remember me, but I know she still loves me and I'm the most loved person in her life." I chuckle.

"And even though she doesn't remember me, that doesn't mean she isn't my girlfriend." I walk over to the bed and notice she's sleeping. She's a heavy sleeper. I place my lips on hers. She kisses back. I pull away. She's still asleep, yet a smile appears on her lips.
