Just Another Fairy Tale

*Niall's POV*


I wake up to the sound of laughter from the group.

"W-What?" I stutter. Everyone turns to me.

"Oh hey, Niall." Perrie says.

"N-Niall..." Amanda stutters from her bed.

"It's hopeless." I mumble.

"I want to remember you. You seem like a great guy. But.. I can't even remember your name for a second. Yet I still have hope. Why can't you?" She asks, sitting up right.

"You don't understand. A year and... six to eight months worth of building a healthy relationship and Amanda, you remember everyone but me. I know it's cause you love me but-.." I stop myself.

"But what?" She asks.

"S-She kissed me back." I stutter, turning to the others.

"What?" Harry asks.

"When I went to kiss her while she was asleep, she kissed back without even knowing.." I mumble.

"So what does that mean?" Eleanor asks.

"There is an emotional connection still. While Amanda is sleeping, memories of Niall and her together run in her head as a dream. To us, it's memories. But to her, it's a dream. Which means when she kissed you back, she was dreaming of a time you guys had together." Tiffany says. We all sit with our jaws hung open.

".. Could a doctor figure that out..?" Louis asks.

"What are we talking about?" Amanda asks. We all turn to her.

"We need to tell a doctor this. It could be true!" Zayn says. We all stand. A doctor then walk into the room at that moment when we were about to find him.

"Oh, Mr. Horan. We have some news." He says. I nod.

"We do too." I say.

"Oh well you may proceed." He says. I nod.

"Well, a few hours ago. I felt to need to um- kiss my girlfriend as she was asleep. I don't know what this means but she kissed me back." I say.

"So our friend had a theory.." Liam says, nudging Tiffany.

"So I thought, there is still an emotional connection between Niall and Amanda without Amanda knowing it. While Amanda is sleeping, memories of Niall and her together run in her head as a dream. To us, it's memories. But to her, it's a dream. Which means when she kissed you back, she was dreaming of a time you guys had together." Tiffany says. The doctor slowly nods.

"Could be. Possibly. That is a very excellent theory." She says. Tiffany smiles.

"We could talk to some of my friends about.. As for my news, Amanda has ripped cartilage on her ears so we must get surgery to repair that. As for her memory, She will possibly gain her memory, but if she does, she will have short term memory loss." The doctor says, I nod.

"So what will she forget if there is something certain?" I ask.

"More than likely, things that happen everyday. If it's something important, special, she feels nice or something bad. She will remember." The doctor says. I nod. I know when he said 'she feels nice' he means sex.

"Thank you." I say.

"And we will get back to your theory." He says to Tiffany then walks out of the room. We all turn back to Amanda. I walk over to the window while the rest of them talk. I sigh to myself. Closer to the right side of the sky was all dark and full of clouds. I could tell it was going to rain. To the left side it was a nice shade of blue. Only half a blue sky. That could make a great song.

Um. We're getting closer to getting Amanda's memory back, but not exactly there yet so.. We're kinda there but not quite? I like it.

In a term but not exactly meaning it that way so um.. Walking about with just one shoe? Mm It sounds good. Then end it with, I'm half a heart without you.

She's my other half so.. I'm half a man, at best? If we're talking about half's.. With half an arrow in my chest? I miss everything I do with her. I just wished she remembered. Oh that's good.

I play my guitar.

"Ready?" I ask Liam he nods.

"And cut!" Tiffany says, turning off the camera cause she was video taping us to put on Youtube.

"That was amazing!" Eleanor goes up and kisses Louis.

"Niall, what an amazing song you wrote! How did you think of the lyrics?" Perrie asks while Zayn wraps an arm around her waist.

"Amanda.." I mumble, looking down, randomly strumming my guitar strings.

"Oh I'm so sorry, Niall. I didn't mean-" Perrie starts but I ignore her and stand up and head for the kitchen.

"Hey, my girlfriend is talking to you don't you ignore her!" Zayn yells at me, sounding pissed.

"Zayn!" Perrie gasps.

"Don't yell at him cause he's ignoring Perrie. At least Perrie remembers your name. You guys don't have memories worth a year and eight months. So zip it and give him time." Harry snaps. Zayn sits. I sit at the table my head in my hands. I sigh. I then feel someone sit beside me.

"You okay, lad?" I hear Louis ask. I nod.

"Perfectly fine." I say as a tear drops from the tip of my nose.

"Hey, look at me." He says placing a hand on my shoulder. I look up. My eyes hurting as much as my heart does.

"She will come back." He says.

".. what if she doesn't? I love her so much. No person, no thing and no one could make me stop loving her. But this memory loss is making her stop loving me." I say.

"Aww." Every gasps from the living room.

"Niall, Amanda still loves you." Tiffany says.

"But to think she will only love me in her sleep and when she's awake I'm a complete stranger?" I ask.

"You're thinking about it the wrong way. At least she trying." She says.

"But Niall that is so cute! No person, no thing and no one could make you stop loving her aww Niall!!!!!!!" Eleanor gasps. I chuckle.

"Calm down.. it's just the way I feel." I mumble. I just hope she remembers me sometime soon.
