These Chapters of Our Lives ~ COMPLETED

Flawlessness

Harmony’s POV
“Well now I feel really bad,” Eleanor whined as I confessed my sadness to them. “We’ve been keeping Harony apart for so long and it’s all our faults.”

“El, it’s not your fault. We just haven’t found any time to ourselves. We were the ones who willingly helped you guys.”

“Yeah, but we could have given you breaks at least,” Perrie sniffled.

“Aw… Per-bear; don’t cry. I’m fine.”

“No you’re not. You even spent two months last year trying to get Niall and I to work, and look at us now. You are so selfless.”

“Diane, it was nothing rea-”

“Just be quiet, you… We need to do something about this. Harony will prevail!” El objected. Hailey let out a noise of some sort, convincing El that she agreed.

You just rolled your eyes as the three continued to share ideas on how to “make it up” to Harry and me. I honestly couldn’t care less because Harry said we would talk about this later, so I cut loose from the conversation as I continued to look through the endless racks of clothes.

None of the clothes appealed to me; I was always a difficult shopper, so I stopped searching and tuned back into the convo. I heard something about a thank-you party and decided to butt in.

“Hey, it’s fine. Harry and I are going to talk about it when he gets home from work,” I stopped them from their argument about whatever.

“Ugh, fine!” Diane groaned in defeat. “Can we just pay for our items and leave? My feet are killing me!”

“You chose to wear heels; you brought this upon yourself,” Perrie said.

“What else am I supposed to wear? I can’t make converse work with everything. Harmony is just flawless enough to work it into her outfits. I mean, look at her!” (http://www.polyvore.com/cgi/set?id=91668028)

Truthfully, I couldn’t pull off any of El’s clothes, so we ended up stopping by my place for me to change. You see, as a group, we all have out different sense of style. I try to be trendy, but I’m not one to go with the crowd.

“She has a point. What do you even call this style?”

“I call it being me, and don’t underestimate my converse. I own almost every single color and style there is.”

Their jaws dropped. “How is that even possible?” El exclaimed.

“My shoe size hasn’t changed since freshman year in high school. I have a vast collection and array of colors, and I never throw a pair out,” I say proudly.

“Damn, girl. Don’t you ever get tired of converse?” Diane asked.

“Nope.”

“I’m home!” Harry’s voice boomed throughout the small flat.

“I’m in the bedroom!” I called back. When I got home, I pretty much came in here, lay down on the bed, and stared at the ceiling. I have an interesting life…

Harry walked into the room and sat on the edge of the bed. “Hey,” he said quietly taking my hand and giving it a small squeeze.

“Hey…”

“I was thinking about what you said earlier,” he continued.

“Yeah?” I asked, turning my body so I could look at him properly.

“Yeah, and I think you’re right. We need a break to ourselves for a while, and I asked Simon if I could take off work for a few days. So it’s going to be just the two of us. All of the boys have agreed to give us some space, so we won’t have anyone bothering us.”

“Really? You did that for me?” I ask profoundly, the happiness starting to shine through my eyes, or maybe its just tears.

He nodded, “I did it for us. And we’re starting tonight. I was thinking we could order a pizza; watch a few films. It’s not much, but-”

“It’s perfect, Harry,” I smiled.

“Okay, I’ll go order the pizza, and you can go settle down on the couch.”

~

“I think we should watch Finding Nemo,” Harry announced.

I shook my head. “Well, I think we should watch Love Actually.”

“Babe, it’s fine. We don’t have to watch my favorite movie.”

“But I want to watch Love Actually.”

“I want to watch Finding Nemo.”

“Love Actually!”

“Nemo!”

“Are we seriously arguing over movies? Why don’t we watch something we haven’t seen,” I suggested. The others were right; I am getting pretty tired of watching Finding Nemo all the time.

“How about…”

“Iron Man/The Notebook!” We both exclaim our choices at the same time.

“Okay, The Notebook/Iron Man,” we say in unison again.

“Iron Man!” I argue.

“The Notebook!”

“We’re doing it again,” I say.

“Maybe we should lay of the movies,” he suggested.

“I guess we should,” I pout. “So what are we going to do?”

He cocks his eyebrow up. “I have an idea…”

~

I woke up late the next morning, or should I say afternoon… I groaned at the light and rolled out of the bed, now empty. I could hear the soft sound of the living room telly playing. I quickly slip on one of Harry’s big shirts and a pair of panties before meeting him on the couch.

“Evening,” he smiled brightly at me. I nodded my head at him, resting my head on his shoulder.

“I was thinking that, since the whole watching movies thing didn’t work out last night, we could go out for dinner tonight. Lady’s choice,” he bribed.

“Okay. I don’t honestly care where we go as long as it isn’t one of those places where the stuck-up and rich go.”

Harry chuckled, “The diner down the street it is, then.”

I smiled; he always knows exactly what I’m thinking.

@Lazylazerpants
I can't believe I just saw your comment! Thank you so much! I honestly don't think this series was that great, but if you really did enjoy it, you'll definitely enjoy my other story, Love At First Type, if you haven't read it already. You don't have to, but it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks again! :D

So I spent the past week reading all three of these and I have to say, this was a fantastic end to a fantastic series. Great job!

@ThatRebelUnicorn
It is a compliment, I didn't know what word I should use and I thought "unusual" was the most appropriate :)
that's it! The cliffhanger was perfect though! It worked perfectly!

@Marbleskin
Still not sure if I should take "unusual stories" as a compliment, but thanks! To be completely honest, I completely agree that the ending of Listen To Your Heart was horrible, but I was kind of going for the cliff hanger thing like at the end of Catching Fire, but yeah… it sucked. I'm really glad that you liked the sequel though :D

Being honest, I was mad at the en of Listen to your heart, because to me, it wasn't a good ending. And I was so sad that it was over! Then, 2 hours ago, I realized that you wrote a sequel! I felt so stupid yet so happy!
I'm happy that you give the explanations of everything in the epilogue, what a brilliant idea! When I first read it, I was afraid that I missed it, that I could have skipped a chapter accidentally...
This sequel is amazing, you're still an amazing writer, & I truly like your other story too! Thanks for writing such good things and unusual stories!
