Michael's P.O.V

I tried not to listen to the beautiful girl in front of me, she's about 5'2, dark hair, pale skin.

"Don't tell me what my mother would have wanted for me, she's not here anymore so I have no one to impress or even live for" she said to whom I'm assuming is my new language arts teacher.

It was getting to personal so I decided to interrupt their conversation

"Ehem" They both turned around facing me

"How may I help you?" The older lady said

"My name is Michael and I'm new here" I said taking my hand out of my pocket shaking the older ladies hand.

II look over at the other girl, she's gorgeous, her dark long hair lying neatly behind her shoulders, her slightly dark eyes look up to mine and I smile at her. She gave me a small smile back but it was noticably fake, of course it's fake you dumb ass! She Just said her mother was dead!

" I have to go" she said adjusting the strings of her backpack and bringing it over her back and pulling her hair out from under her backpack.

"we'll finnish talking tomorrow" the older lady said to the girl as she shut the door

"Hello dear, sorry about that. My name is Ms. Groft, so why were you late to my class Mr. Clifford" she said bringing her glasses up to her face while reading a paper, maybe an assignment?

"umm I got lost..." I suck at lying

"oh really for 60 minutes?" She said pulling her glasses down slightly to look at me"

"yeah...?"

"we'll let's hope you don't get lost for 60 minutes tomorrow, yeah?'' she said setting down the paper and grabbing an all to familiar book

"ok so in class we're reading-"

" To kill a mocking bird"

"So you've read it already?"

"yeah like 3 times, it's a good book, I wouldn't necessarily call it my favorite though''

'' would you like to read it again, we're on chapter 12..."

"Do i have a choice...'' No offense but chapter 12! This lady must be crazy!

"Actually there is one thing you guys could do"

"you guys?"

"Nevermind, go along now, I'll see you tomorrow don't be late" she said shooing me out of her classroom

Addison's P.O.V

I drop my backpack on my bed and get out my shirt i have to wear for work. I pull up my shirt and toss it in the laundry basket replacing it with a 'Dairy Queen' blue T-shirt. I put on my black vans and walk downstairs. I grab my keys that I left on the counter and head out to my car.

"What would you like?" I said looking up at my next customer. My mouth felt dried as I look up at the new kid.

"Hello" he said smiling at me for the second time today
