"And what's that?" I ask and I see a smirk play on Dylan's lips.
Am I the only one who's not trusting this crap?
"C'mon." Dean leads me to the basement.
"Dean, I know we have a basement, don't worry."
"But there's something in the basement that you need to see."
I roll my eyes and follow him down the stairs.
"Wow, darkness, how unexpected." I roll my eyes again.
Dean turns on the light and someone is tied up in a chair.
When it looks up I see it's face.
Well, bloody hell.
This is no good.
Luke.
One of the best man from Calum's gang. Tied up in my basement.
Calum's gonna be pissed when he finds out.
"And why's he here?" I ask.
"He crossed our territory."
"You sound like an animal." I roll my eyes.
I walk past Dean to the chair and shoot Luke a quick sympathetic smile.
"Did he had any food yet?" I ask.
"No, and I'm not planning on giving him either."
"Then what's he doing here?"
"We're gonna use him to get to Calum of course."
"Yeah. Of course.."
He turns around.
"Dinner will be ready in an hour." He yells before walking up the stairs and closing the door behind him.


I quickly turn to Luke and take the tape of his mouth.
"Thank you." He breathes as he takes a few deep breaths.
"How stupid can you be?!" I whisper shout and slap the back of his head.
"Calum's gone be so pissed." I worry.
"Of course he's going to be pissed. What else would he be?"
"Don't get fucking smart ass with me because that means no food."
"As if I want you left overs."
"Look Luke. I'm trying to help you as much as I can but you're not gonna boss me around like I'm some kind of call girl. I'm the only one who can get you out of here asap. So I'd better be nice."
He looks at me and I turn around and walk away.


I walk to my room and I sigh.
This is bad.
So fucking bad.
Calum's gonna kill me.
Literally.
I wait for my phone to burst out with calls and messages form Calum but I don't hear anything.
Literally nothing.
I look up and take my phone.
My hands shake as I type a message to Calum.


Me: Cal?


After a few minutes of waiting I don't get a reply..
Wait, it gets better.
He leaves me on read.


Me: Calum, I swear I didn't know..


I see that he begins to type and it honestly takes way too look even though it are probably just a few seconds.


Cal: Sure thing.
Me: I'm serious!
Cal: I should've known you played with me.
Me: I'm not playing Calum!
Cal: Quit the act Lana.
Me: I can't because there is NONE!
Cal: Fine. Prove it.
Me: How?
Cal: Free him.
Me: Cal... I don't have the abilities to do that and you know it.
Cal: I don't care. Free him. You'll earn my full trust.
Me: I'll see what I can do.


I sigh and lay my head in my hands.
What am I going to do?...
I somehow ended up in my bed and fell asleep quickly.
Just wanting to forget everything at that moment..


The next morning I wake up by the sound if my alarm and grown.
Monday.
Calum.
Luke.
Everything hits me all at once and I feel like crying.
I sigh and get dressed.
I walk downstairs and make my breakfast, sneakily putting also some thing for Luke on my plate.


"Hey." I say when I walk into the basement.
Luke just nods his head.
I look at the wounds in his face.
"Well, you could've looked worse." I mumble.
I take the tape of his mouth.
"I'm gonna say thank you." He smirks.
I smirk back and put the plate in front of him.
"How am I supposed to eat that?"
"With your mouth."
"Very funny. Just Help me."
I sigh and help him eat the food.
"We gotta get you out of here." I mumble.
"No kidding." He rolls his eyes.
"No, I mean.. Calum thinks that I planned this. The whole thing. Only helping you escape will earn his trust in me."
"You're sure he's worth all that effort?" Luke asks.
"What do you mean?"
"Helping me could get you killed... I would never ask that from someone who I care about."
I sigh.
"Calum is just complicated." I mumble.
"And that's a reason to act like that?"
"Of course not. But he just doesn't want too loose people again. I get that. He needs to know for sure that I won't leave him."
"But what if you get caught and get killed?"
I sigh again.
"I don't know."
"Exactly. I would never ask something like that from you. I would never want you to give your life for me... I mean. If I was Calum of course."
I shrug.
"He doesn't mean it like that."
Luke huffs but doesn't talk on.
"What's your problem with Calum anyway? Why would you care?" I ask.
"Don't like innocent people get hurt." He shrugs.
"Sure thing Sweetheart."
"And you don't seem too bad either.." He smirks.
I smirk back.
"I need to tell you one thing though." I speak softly.
He lifts his eyebrows.
"I'm everything except innocent." I smirk before turning around and walking away.



-Luke's POV-


If she only knew how much of a turn on she's right now.
Okay, I might have a teeny tiny but of a crush on her. But who cares?
Calum's not here to check up on me. He won't come either. So.. I might as well take advantage from this situation to get to know Lana better.
She seems pretty nice..
I mean her personality. Although that body is a nice extra.
The point is.. If I just get her to stay long enough with me, and get to know her better.. Maybe she'll end up with me.
I mean, Calum isn't what she needs.
Calum will never grow up.
She needs someone stronger than him. Responsible.
Someone who cares about her, loves her.
Someone like me.
Okay, I might not be stronger than Calum.. But I'm definitely more responsible.
And maybe... Just maybe...
If I get to know her better...
I'll have my chance with her.
