Hard Fall

I learned that the handsome man's name was Niall and that he lived down the hall. He was so interesting he told us about his trips around the world, visiting so many places. I wish that I got out there like him and maybe I would be more interesting. As we finished up talking I must have zoned out because I was startled when a hand waved in front of me.
"Savannah, you there" A voice said.

"Oh Sorry, what did you say?" I replied, feeling my cheeks turn red.

" Niall asked if you wanted to hang out tomorrow" Emma said with a slight annoyance in her tone, as she probably as said it many times.

Before I could answer him I hadn't realized he had already left my apartment and we were sitting alone. I should really pay attention more.

"Sure, but how will he know our reply?" I ask with a lot of confusion in my tone.

"He gave me his number and I gave him yours" She said

Wait a minute, I have a hot guys phone number and he wants to actually hang out with me. This was seriously a first, no guy has ever had an interest in me, I didn't even go to prom because nobody asked me. I really haven't had luck with guys since my first real boyfriend. He dumped in front of the whole school, after I had said I loved him. Major blow, as everyone for the rest of high school called it. Maybe this guy will be different, maybe he'll be the prince that sweeps me off my feet. or maybe he'll be another guy I add onto my failed relationship list. Let's hope I'm wrong...
