Hard Fall

Savannah's p.o.v.

"Savannah, will you be my girlfriend?" I see him ask.

Wow, I didn't think he would ask me that yet. Not that I wouldn't say yes. As I was gushing over my feelings for him in my head I watched as his confidence grew smaller, and his face began to fall. I quickly made a choice.

"Yes, a million times yes" I smile.

His smile grew bigger by the second and he jumped to hug me. He cupped my cheek, and leaned in to kiss me. It was kiss I had never had before, like none that we had had. It was magical to say the least.

After he pulled away he pulled something out of his jacket pocket. It was a velvety rectangular box.

"I got you a present" he said shyly. I reached for the gift and began to open it. It was a pair of diamond earrings. As I picked one up and watched as it glimmered in the light. It was beautiful.

"Niall, they're beautiful, it's just too much" I say as I put them back in the box.

He looks back at me with sincere eyes. "Nothing is too much for you". He picks up one and examines it, then stares back at me. "They remind me of your eyes, that's why I picked them up" He sets it back in the box. I couldn't help the blush that crept over my face as he said that.

"Well thank you so much Ni" I say.

After a minute of silence I remember the gift I had picked out for him. Without a word I retreat to my room to dig it out of the back of my closet.

~Beginning of flashback~
It was close to Christmas and I hadn't even gotten him anything. I found something he would possibly like here and there, but nothing screamed Niall.

I walked along the sidewalk as the clouds began to spill over with rain. I ducked into the closest shop and dried off. I looked around and it was like a music shop for older band albums and even records. I wandered for awhile until I stumbled upon a guitar.

The guitar...

I asked a consultant and apparently, it was a signed Eagles guitar. A customer had sold it to this place and nobody really found it, as it was hidden behind a bit of things. I decided that this going to be his present.

I walked to the register, with the guitar in hand. The lady there turned towards me and dropped her jaw. She stared at me like I was an alien.

"OMG, are you- No wait...- how???" She stuttered mouth still hanging open.

"Um, I beg your parden?" I ask in confusion.

"Are you Niall Horan's Girlfriend...?" She asked.

"Um, well, Niall and I aren't dating, but, um" Oh somebody please help me!

"Can I have your autograph?" Okay...

"Sure" I say.

"Make it out to Marlee, and please tell him i'm a major fan" Wow.

"Yeah, sure thing love" I say totally surprised.

She wrapped it up for me and handed over with a smile.

~End of Flashback~

I gave him his gift and he beemed. He tore the wrapping up like a child and jumped up and down at the sight. He started to strum while I changed into something light.

He layed down and rested his head on the back of the couch. I came back and sat next to him. We watched movies and rested the rest of the night, Together...
