The Exchange

ROSE'S POV

Hallelujah! First day of school! I'm soooo scared. I put this on, and did some natural makeup. I was heading out of the door with chocolate croissant in hand when I saw my Aunt Courtney!!
"Hi!" She squealed, "I put in your address, and realised that we're just across the hall from each other! John already left for work, so he couldn't stay. Come see Thea! She's grown so much!" (John being my uncle, and Thea their child) She grabbed me and dragged me across the hall. "Oh! I forgot to ask! How was your flight? Not dead?"
I replied with a good and a shake of my head, so she pulled me along again. I definitely agree that Thea had grown. And I'm happy to see that there apartment is much larger than mine.

"Well, I've got to head to school now, I don't want to be late on the first day! Love you, bye!" I said waving.

She replied, "Oh, of course! Here's a bagel, you don't eat nearly enough, and good luck! love you too!" She embraced me, and then pushed me out of the door, telling me to hurry up.

Notes

I know it's short, and I feel awful! I've really been focusing on me, and I wasn't in public for a while. Unfortunately, I had a miscarriage. Tyler and I are still married, but we're sad that we didn't get the family we so desperately wanted. I thought it would be nice to include my Aunt and her family, because, I needed a happy ending right now. My Aunt is 43, and my Uncle 44. They just had Thea after years of trying, and multiple miscarriages. I hope that one day, Tyler and I will have our own family, even if it's not now. I love you all solo much, and I will try to update much more often.
