“Michael, why did you feel like Ashton shouldn’t have seen us making out?” Calum asked.

“I guess I didn’t know how Ashton would respond if he saw it.” Michael confessed.

Ashton looked like he was upset. Almost welling up. “I’m a really shitty friend.” Ashton said.

“You weren’t.” I said. “When we were touring. You weren’t. You were a great friend.”

“You could’ve come to me.” Ashton said. ‘You could’ve talked to me about this. But you didn’t. I made you feel like you couldn’t. I’m such a shitty friend that I didn’t let you know that you could come talk to me about anything.”

“I didn’t tell you because I thought you already knew.” Calum said.

“And we couldn’t be open about it because of that bitch.” I added.

“All this time, I felt like you were hiding, lying to me.” Ashton said. “That’s why I’ve been so angry. But all this time, I should’ve been blaming Megan. Not you.” He was clearly very emotional. “I’m sorry, I have to go.”

Ashton got up and left the restaurant right as the food was being served.

There was an awkward silence for at least a solid sixty seconds between the three of us. And sixty seconds is a long time when the silence is uncomfortable.

Michael finally broke the ice.

“So…are any of you going to eat Ashton’s food?”

The first United States 2016 Presidential debate just finished and I watched all of it and oMFG I FUCKING HATE DONALD TRUMP HE NEEDS TO GO DIE IN A WHOLE ALONG WITH MEGAN AND BROCK AND I FUCKING LOVE HILLARY CLINTON SHE IS AMAZING I LOVE HER IF ANY OF YOU ARE US CITIZENS AND ARE 18 OR OLDER PLEASE VOTE FOR HILLARY CLINTON! IF YOU DON'T KNOW WHAT I'M TALKING ABOUT AND HAVE A FEW HOURS OF FREE TIME THEN GOOGLE THE UNITED STATES PRESIDENTIAL ELECTION AND OMG I HATE DONALD TRUMP HE IS RACIST AND SEXIST AND HOMOPHOBIC AND HE IS SUCH A FUCKING IDIOT.
