Icing on the Cake
Chapter Thirty-One
~31~
“Oh my God!” Calum said, walking over to look at my phone. “You know what we have to do now?”
“I do.” I said.
I texted Ashton and Michael and told them to get their asses to Starbucks.
“Oh my God!” They both said.
“We need to make the best music video we’ve ever done now!” Michael said. “Now that we have an audience!”
“Want to film us doing the one we’ve written and have been rehearsing?”
“Yes!” Calum said.
“Let’s go practice now!”
We went and practiced it, and we practiced, and then we filmed, and filmed, and recorded, and filmed, and did different angles, and we finally finished Saturday morning, prom day.
Michael volunteered to edit. We were about to leave his house when he told us to come to his computer where he was editing.
“I knew we shouldn’t have let Calum and Luke sit on the couch right next to each other.” Ashton said. “And ‘Gotta Get Out’ is a serious song!”
“I know!” Michael said. “The sexual energy between them is crazy! I’ll have to work hard to edit that out.”
“Well you can keep a little.” I said.
“Maybe once we do it there will be less energy.” Calum said.
Panic rushed over me. I wasn’t ready to have sex, at least, I didn’t think so.
“You guys haven’t done it yet?” Michael and Ashton asked at pretty much the same time.
Notes
If just one person goes to Youtube, searches for the original 5SOS channel, watches the Gotta Get Out music video and looks at it any differently for a minute, this will have been a complete and total success.
My heart, Oof.
