Michael called us excitedly one day. “I’M A FATHER!” He yelled through the phone, explaining that Ren had her baby.

We got a sitter for the twins while Calum, Julia and I went to the hospital to see the new born.

As we walked into their hospital room, Michael was so gleeful. He looked like he was walking on clouds, and he hugged both Calum and I the second we made it into the room.

“It’s a girl!” Michael exclaimed.

Ren was sitting up in the hospital bed, holding the baby.

“How are you doing?” I asked Ren as I walked over to her.

“I’m okay.” Ren said. “A little tired. The birthing went pretty well. Painful af, but they warned us about that.”

“What did you name her?” Calum asked.

“Angelina.” Michael answered.

“That’s a beautiful name!” Julia said.

“How are you doing Julia?” Ren asked.

With dreadfully perfect timing, right as Ren asked that, Julia grabbed her baby bump and winced in pain, shuddering as she gasped and fell to the ground

She then started squealing in pain.

Calum ran out of the room and screamed into the hallway, “WE NEED HELP OVER HERE!”
