Calum and I got all dressed up on Christmas Eve and walked into church with the twins and Julia. I saw my parents and we sat down next to them. Calum was on the aisle seat.

Both the twins were all over Ben from that time him and Calum hung out, and my father, mother, and Jack were all trying to get some of their attention.

A few minutes before service was going to start, I saw a woman our age walk into the sanctuary. She looked familiar, and after I second, I realized who she was. It was Mimi. Calum’s old girlfriend, the one he was going to ask to prom, the one who’s boyfriend, Brett, Mali's ex-fiancee, beat me up.

***FLASHBACK TO OCTOBER 2016***

I was hanging in Calum’s apartment in Sydney. We had just finished Sounds Live Feels Live; we had just come out.

It was that phase where Michael and Ashton wouldn’t talk to us and we didn’t know what was going to happen with our careers.

Calum was in the shower when his phone dinged. I knew I probably shouldn’t have, but I looked at it.

I immediately deleted the message. How dare that bitch message him.

Calum came out of the shower, walking into the bedroom completely naked. “Did my phone ring?” He asked.

I started to sputter, his naked body being very distracting. “No.” I said.

Calum could tell I was staring at something. He looked the direction I was looking.

“She looks familiar.” Calum said. “Who is that?”

I couldn’t believe she was here.

“It’s the ghost of Christmas past.” I said.
