•Harry’s POV•
I gulped gently, not knowing what was truly going on right now. ‘’What.. what do you mean?’’ Selena spoke first, silencing the cold silent in half. ‘’Jealousy. It kills.’’ Taylor mumbled as he got closer to us. Tori shook her head rapidly from side to side, ‘’No.. he doesn’t know what he’s talking about.’’ She releases a slight laugh as she drops her head into hands.

Selena places her hand on Tori’s back, attempting to soothe her. ‘’I’ve noticed it too, Tori.. Mom and Dad don’t pay us any attention anymore. Trust me, it’s not just you.’’ Taylor admits. I heard Tori groan in annoyance at him, probably thinking he’s wrong but I’m sure – for some reason I just know – he’s right.

“I swear.. it’s not just you.’’ I to a glance over to the kitchen doors to see Tristan coming into the room, sighing as he reached the couch and stood in front of us, Taylor keeping behind us though. ‘’Boys.. please explain.’’ Selena demanded in a light tone, knowing that they will listen to her.

‘’Tris and I overheard Tori’s phone call with Cody a couple of hours ago.’’ Taylor informs us. ‘’And what does that have to do with anything?’’ I ask, furrowing my eyebrows lightly, the information we were receiving was very small.

‘’Tori told him that she feels unloved, unwanted.. un.. unneeded.’’ Tristan explains. ‘’What’s wrong Tori.. Daddy doesn’t show his little princess any love anymore?’’ Taylor asks curiously, knowing the words he spills are cutting deep in Tori but he doesn’t care, that’s his point.

‘’Tay..’’ I mumble gently. He looks at me for a few seconds before staring back at the back of Tori’s head. ‘’You think it’s bad for you? Try living knowing you were the second best. Dad would pick you over me any day.’’ He says. Tori leans up and stands form the couch, turning so she was facing us all.

‘’Taylor shut up okay.. don’t make me feel-‘’ ‘’Feel what? Feel ashamed.. feel ridiculous because that’s what I’m aiming for anyways.’’ He shrugs, not caring anymore. ‘’Most of my life there’s always been babies below me. I was pushed to the side too, Tori. I know.. it’s not a good feeling.’’ Tristan admits.

I had honestly had enough of this bull shit, these three are acting like immature brats, but I keep silent and listen. I knew good and well that Taylor can make Tori crack under pressure, it’s because they’re close, always have been. Always will be.

‘’Neither of you know.. what I’ve been through… you just don’t.. know.’’ Tori clenches her jaw, staring hard at the floor. ‘’You’re right. But I know where you’re going. You want better for yourself. For Lexi.. I mean, damn, you’ve already made Mom’s mistake.. might as well go on and dodge the rest, right?’’ Taylor asks her.

‘’Lexi.. isn’t.. a mistake.’’ Tori says in a cracked voice, the words really getting to her know. ‘’But.. you were. Right? I mean.. that’s what I was told.’’ Tristan points out. ‘’None of you are mistakes.’’ Selena chimes in, as if that will help at all. ‘’Beg to differ, there.’’ Taylor protests.

‘’I’d wish you just leave me alone.’’ Tori says clearly to Taylor. ‘’Why? Am I embarrassing you? Sorry, I wouldn’t know how you feel apparently I don’t love you enough to care about anything.’’ Taylor retorts. I looked over at him, seeing the look in his eyes. I know what’s doing, he’s trying to help. Honestly he’s not meaning to hurt her, he’s just doing what he has to do to actually talk to her.

He’s a good kid. He’s a good person. He’s a good brother.


•Taylor’s POV•
“Taylor.. quit it.’’ Tori raises her voice at me – that’s the moment when I knew it was working. ‘’Why? I figure an unloved person wouldn’t care what I said to her.. I mean, don’t you think that Tristan?’’ I ask him, my plan going along good so far. I knew what I was doing.

‘’Sounds ‘bout right.’’ He nods lightly. “Can I ask.. why do you say you’re unloved, unwanted? Tori.. why?’’ I ask with a sigh leaving my mouth, hoping to bust her like I am hoping to eventually. Her eyes never met mine, only sticking to the floor. Selena had a confused look on her face, probably wondering what was going on and why.

Harry, well, I knew that face – he understood. He gently nodded his head to me, telling me I was doing good – Harry and I are close and we have a secret sign, a few actually. And that, well, he told me I was doing good. He trusted me, he knew what I was doing. More importantly, he knew why.

I took a deep inhale, knowing this next part will be hard. But I keep strong and carry on with it. ‘’Is it because Mom raised you alone? You’re real father couldn’t take it. Or because you were so stupid and trusted a man who only done you harm? I bet you still feel pretty bad for not helping Dad and Mom back then, huh? Would’ve saved a break in their relationship.. Could have prevented a lot of shit, you know.’’ The words smoothly entered the air as I spoke, it hurt to say it but I know I must.

I love Tori entirely too much to know she’s hurting by something so stupid, so I know how to fix it. I her entirely too well not to do anything about it.

Tori had no verbal response to my words, only looked up from the floor – her eyes meeting mine, full of anger and hatred. “Perhaps it was when you cost Dad two friendships.. and the relationships with his brother, his father.. You ruined the family, Tori.. No wanted to be around you anyways, right? Just a piece of nothing?’’ I shrugged as if I didn’t care as I stuck my hands in my pockets, slowly trailing over to her, letting my foot completely hit the ground before lifting the other.

‘’Taylor.. I think that’s enough of this, now.’’ Selena’s words had no effect on me, I hardly heard her. I couldn’t see nothing but Tori’s eyes burning holes through me, she wanted to ripe my head off right now, but she was too nice to do that.No, she’d only speak words that would hurt – not do any actions to hurt me.

‘’Or maybe it was when Terra and Dad were in the accident.. and told Terra to burn in Hell because Dad was spending all his time with her. Jealousy’s always been with you.’’ I smirked gently, knowing that Tris and I were the only two people in the world that knew she said those words to our little sister.

Harry’s jaw dropped as he heard me admit the hateful memory, a heavy gasp leaving Selena’s mouth. ‘’Well, maybe it’s the fact that you snuck out all the time – expecting me to cover for you. And when you finally got caught, you lied about the sex… knowing good well you didn’t use anything. You told me that recently, shocked me a little actually.’’ Sighing to myself as I took a glance at Tristan, he was biting his lip out of nervousness.

‘’Stop.’’ Tori spoke the word like a demand to me, knowing damn well I wasn’t going to take it. ‘’Oh, I know why you’ve been feeling like nothing.. because you’ve been lying for a while, yeah? I bet Mom and Dad would really hate you if they knew you’ve been lying to them.’’ I tell her.

‘’Taylor.. shut.. up.. please.’’ She practically begs as she faces me know, only a few inches away. ‘’I can’t believe you’re making yourself look so weak.. so broken in front of us.. knowing that your baby can hear you.’’ I said aloud, not regretting it one bit.

‘’You fucking son of a bitch!’’ Tori yelled as she squeezed her fists beside her, her eyes forming tears. ‘’Tori.’’ Harry said lightly as he stood up, stepping over to us. I licked my lips, knowing she was done with – she had cracked, my job was partly done. Harry got between us and grabbed her hands, trying to calm her down.
