Struggle - H.S.

I had a bad feeling about this all. I just knew something had to go wrong but I was really hoping I was wrong and that we would be back at our house tonight. I was sitting in a car between Harry and Louis, listening to my own music, as this was the only thing that kept me calm and focused.

I really hoped that I didn't have to kill anyone because to be honest I wasn't sure if I could kill someone. I wasn't even paying attention to the others but I could feel Harry's hand on my leg. He could feel my worry and as the drive continued I wished we could turn around. "Anna." I heard Harry softly say. I turned the music down and stared at him, waiting for him to say something. "You have to get ready, we are almost there." I nodded as I crawled into the backseat of this van.

I quickly made sure I had everything I needed. I put on my boots and made sure my gun was reachable. Louis touched my shoulder and I quickly turned around to see if there was something wrong but he was just smiling at me. "Calm down love, I just want to give you this." He gave me a knife. I examined it carefully and as I was about to give it back, when the van suddenly stopped.

"Put it in your boot." He insisted and turned away from me. I did what he told me to do and climbed back to sit next to Harry. Michael was sitting in the passenger chair and Niall had been driving. "I don't think we can go any further." Niall said which made me anxious. "Okay Michael you're up." Harry said in a serious voice. I saw Michael nod and open a laptop. Niall opened the door and grabbed the gun from his waistband. I looked at him and realised that I really didn't want him to go in first and before I knew it I was already out of the car.

"Niall wait!" I whisper yelled at him. To my surprise Harry didn't stop me when I went after Niall. "Anna, go back to Harry." He was in front of me looking at me angry. I shook my head because I couldn't let him leave, without him knowing how I felt. "Niall, I just want to let you know, that I do love you and that I'm so sorry for not choosing you. Sometimes I really wish I could be with you instead of Harry." I saw the shock on his face but it softened quickly when he pulled me into his arms. He held me gently stroking my back.

"Thank you Anna." I heard him murmur into my hair and I immediately felt calm as we stood there. "Please be careful." I felt him nod and as he put some distance between us, he gave me a small smile before turning away from me. Within no time he disappeared into the dark.

"Anna, please come back." I heard Harry. I sighed and walked back to the van. I saw Liam, Sophia, Rosie and Nick joining us. I heard a trigger being pulled from the safety and when I saw Liam and Sophia hug each other I know this was going to be a bit more difficult then Harry had told us. I saw him looking at his watch and at some point he decided that it was time to get it done. "Let's do this. Louis, you and Anna will go in with me and you guys are giving us back up. Let's hope that everything will go effortless." Everybody nodded. We walked in silence towards the house and with all the lights off we knew that Niall got in successful.

'Anna, get you gun ready.' Louis whispered in my ear, I did as I was told and held the gun exactly the same way as the others. Ironically we got in through the door but everything went to hell from that point. The lights didn't go on but I heard someone shoot and that's when Harry threw us on the floor. I heard a bullet fly over us and I was praying that nobody got hit. 'You guys know what you have to do.' Harry said through clenched teeth.

He got up again and stretched his hand out to me. I grabbed it and we started our way through the house. "Harry I can't see a damn thing." I said under my breath when out of nowhere I saw a flash and I heard Harry groan and fall on the floor. I was so shocked but I didn't freeze as I got on my knees to see where he got hit. by doing this my attention faltered. "Harry where did you get hit?" I asked him hastily. He had grabbed my hand and directed it to the side of his chest. My heart stopped when I realised how close it was to his heart. "Shit Harry you need help like right now." I felt the panic rise in my chest. "Anna, you have to get Bradley, I promised you I wouldn't leave you right?"

"You did." I said softly, I was quiet for a second just to be sure there was no one here when I turned my focus on Harry again. 'Princess, you have to move me, go look for a closet or something like that." I did what he asked and after a few minutes I found a storage room. It was small but at least he would be safe, as the door could lock from the inside. I walked back to where I left Harry but he wasn't lying on the ground anymore. I felt the blood drain from my face. "Harry?!" I whisper yelled with a slight panic in my voice. I walked trough the hallway of the ground floor and Harry never responded to me. I just prayed that he was still alive. "God damn it" I mumbled to myself before making my way up to the second floor.

I held my gun right in front of me, ready to shoot, if necessary. It was too quiet around me, the fighting had stopped at some point and I wasn't sure if this was a good sign but I couldn't go back to check on everyone so I kept walking to the door Harry said was Bradley's room. I stopped a few inches from the door when somebody hit me hard in the head. I fell forwards but stopped myself just in time before I smashed in the wall in front of me.

"Fuck!" I yelled as the person tried to hit me again, this time I was able to stop him or her and punched the person where I could. I heard a male groan coming from him and as I didn't recognise the voice I knew it was one of Bradley's gang members. I didn't have time to ask him something because he actually floored me. I felt the ground against my head when I hit my head and I saw stars for just a few seconds. I was still holding my gun and as he recovered from the fall I had the chance to point my gun at him, which I did.

It stopped whatever he was trying to do. He still had me pinned down on the floor when the lights got switched on. I had to blink a few times and wasn't surprised to see Ashton on top of me. I had hit in on his cheek and he was actually bleeding from the cut I left on his face. "Not so tough now are we?!" I smirked and to have this much power felt really great. It was short lived though as he got help from someone. I couldn't see the person but I felt his kick and that's when everything went black. When I woke up I was still in the hallway but this time I was alone and without a gun. That's when I remembered the knife I had in my boots. I quickly felt if they hadn't found it and they didn't luckily.

The real question that was going through my mind, was why they didn't kill me? This was beyond weird. I saw the blood on my clothes and that freaked me out but more because I didn't know if it was my blood or somebody else's. I used my earpiece, which I completely had forgotten to see if everyone was okay. I opened a door to see if it was secure and when I didn't spot anyone I went inside. I walked straight to the closet and got inside, just to be safe. "Niall? Are you there?" I whispered and to my utmost surprise he did but he didn't sound good. "Anna, where the hell are you?" He whispered back urgently "I'm on the first floor but I lost Harry." I informed him straight away and he was silent for a second. I could hear people mutter in the background.

"Where are you guys? Am I the only one who's still in the house?" I fired the question at him, forcing him to answer. "No Louis, Liam and Olly are still there but you guys have to get out of there, they were expecting us. It was a trap."
