Struggle - H.S.

"Let me in Anna." I heard Harry yell through the door. It woke me up from my nap and I was wondering how long he had stood there trying to get an answer out of me or for me to unlock the door. I rolled over and pulled the pillow over my head "Go away." I mumbled into my pillow, fully aware that he couldn't hear me but it was the thought that counted.

"Anna, if you don't open right now I will beat down the fucking door!" I heard his tone change and I couldn't ignore him any longer. I let myself roll out of bed and stumbled to the door. "Jeez, I'm coming." I growled at him. I unlocked the door but didn't open it fully, so I peered through the small space. "What!?" I said rather angry. He was putting on his smirk "I also want to sleep." He said sheepishly and I snorted at that. "Is there something wrong with your own bed?" I asked in a neutral voice and I almost cracked when his smirk made place for a scowl with a mixture of shock. "I'm sleeping with you." He was really full of himself, so I shook my head slowly. "You now you're pretty stupid if you think I'm going to let you sleep in the same bed as me after you hit me Harry." I noticed the slight raise of my voice.

"Ah come Anna, if you hadn't acted disobedient after multiple warnings, that wouldn't have happened." He was not sounding regretful in the slightest and if he thought it would be that easy, he had another thing coming. "If you had respected me then I wouldn't have acted disobedient in the first place and I'm not your freaking dog, I'm a fucking person Harry!" Now I was yelling at him. "Anna come on, you know I'm the boss around here and I smack everyone who doesn't listen and I am just trying to keep you safe." I snorted again. "You know Harry I can take care of myself so please stop trying and now I would like to get back to bed." I slammed the door in front of his face and locked it again.

My heart was beating in my chest whilst I listened if I could hear him walk away and after I heard a door slam, my heartbeat went back to normal and I couldn't help but do a little victory dance. After 5 minutes I let myself fall on my bed and turned of the lights.

I couldn't sleep, I kept turning and tossing and even kicked of the sheets even if the temperature had dropped. I know this was Harry's fault, he made me depended on him and now I couldn't even sleep on my own at night. There was just no way I was giving in. I rather be tired then go to his room and get some sleep. I groaned whilst putting a pillow against my face.

I threw the pillow across the room and decided that If I couldn't sleep I better just work out. I put on my work out clothes and walked downstairs and to the basement. I noticed that there was a light burning when I was hallway the stairs. "Hello?" I whispered and that's when Niall appeared at the bottom. I almost turned around but stopped when I realised that as I wasn't putting up with Harry's shit today, I shouldn't accept the damn rule he had laid upon both of us.

"Couldn't sleep?" I asked him with a smile and he nodded and looked really surprised when I started walking again. "Anna, this really isn't a good idea." I shrugged and only stopped when I was right in front of him.

"I think that Harry has no right to say with who I can hang out and with whom I can't and I really want to train as I also can't sleep." I said and walked passed him to the boxing area. "He will kill me Anna." I heard him protest and I quickly turned back to him. "he won't, you are way to valuable to him and if he tries, I will kill him, that's a promise." I said, he was looking at me as if I was mental and then something changed in his expression and I didn't know what that was until he was right in front of me and put his hand on my cheek. Before I had time to protest he kissed me and it wasn't a peck it was a desperate one, as if this was the last time he would ever kiss someone and it surprised me so much that I started to kiss him back. It was like my mouth had it's own thoughts and my brain had shut down.

Niall put his hand in my hair and pulled it rather hard but that's not something I minded but it did bring me back and It was like Harry was filling my head and that's how I could push him away eventually. There was no way we could ever tell Harry about this because he would murder us both for sure. We were both panting and I was really waiting for an explanation. "I just had to do that once, I'm sorry Anna, it won't happen again." I nodded and decided to act as if it didn't happen at all.

I turned away from him and began hitting the box ball rather hard. The kiss just added more stress and I know Niall only did it so he could move on or something like that but this was a secret I really didn't want. What if Harry finds out, I mean Niall would be dead for sure and me, I really don't want to think about what he might do to me. I'm not sure when Niall decided to leave me alone but when I stopped hitting the damn thing I was startled by a new sound. "What are you doing?" It was Louis and to say I was startled was an understatement. "God Louis, you couldn't I don't know warn me?"k I said totally out of breath.

He just smirked at me and shrugged. "It's a good thing you are already here because now we can get started on your training." I didn't fully understand. "Why, what's the use?" I asked and he didn't see that question coming. "Harry asked me to.' I sighed but didn't say anything and waited of his instructions. The next few hours I was fighting Louis non stop and he didn't go easy on me, okay maybe a little because he wasn't trying to kill me this time.

"I need a moment Louis!" I said through clenched teeth after being smacked against the ground again. When we just started it was a more even battle but I was getting tired and couldn't think straight anymore. He let go of me and I immediately clocked down 2 water bottles and I made a run to the toilet and when I came back Louis had switched with Liam.

He was smiling gently at me. He reminded me of a big brother and I think that was exactly the roll he played amongst these guys. "It's time to teach you how to use that gun properly." He walked towards the stairs and I followed. He walked out into the garden and I saw he had put up some targets one close by and one was really far away.

He gave the right instructions and handed the gun. He explained that when you pull the trigger the gun will give back because of the force, this was something I already knew by watching movies and that's why I had this normal gun instead of a big ass gun, that they use for hunting. "Anna, this is a Beretta M9." I looked at him as if he was speaking in a different language. "I know you don't care about the name of this gun but you should know it." I shrugged and I grabbed it from his hand. He told me how to get the safety off and how to load it. This was the moment I was dreading because I know I needed to know how to shoot I actually really hoped I would never have to use it.

"Now you aim and pull the trigger. I did this and was really pleased when it actually hit the target. It was a bit off to the side but still I had hit the damn thing. "DID YOU SEE THAT!!" I yelled excited. Liam laughed and high fived me as soon as I put the safety on again. "It seems that you are a natural love." I know Harry was watching us because I could feel him. I couldn't resist and flipped him off, which earned a chuckle from Louis.

We tried a few more on both targets and we were both surprised that I hit the bulls-eye of the one who was the farthest away. "Try again, that was just beginners luck." and so I did and I kept hitting the target. "I guess that was your only lesson then, well done Anna." I put the safety on it and hugged him. I made sure not to hug him long before Harry would also be on his ass. "You know, why don't you change for lunch?" Liam suggested and I know he just wanted me to leave. I went along with it but stopped when I was no longer in sight. "Harry she deserves to come with us, you saw how well she did." Liam was actually trying to persuade Harry, why would he do that?

"I saw Liam but what if she isn't fast enough and gets shot, I just can't risk that." It was quiet for a while. "She can take care of herself Harry, just give her some respect because if she couldn't, then she would be dead by now." Liam was actually backing me up and it felt amazing.

"What do you mean?" I heard Harry ask, he really was stupid sometimes because I even knew what Liam was talking about. "The way you have been hitting her in her face for example. A normal person would be dead already but what did she do, she got defence classes and she kept going and this is part of her stubborn mind but it also shows strength, the only weakness I've spotted on her is you mate." He was telling the truth because Harry was my weakness and it wasn't a healthy one either.

"Why am I her weakness?" He still didn't get it, I shook my head slightly and jumped a little but before I could gasp, a hand was placed over my mouth. I immediately recognised the scent and relaxed when I realized it was Niall who was standing behind me also listening. "The way you have been treating her, the way you have wormed your way into her head and heart. She is afraid of you and she hates you but the thing that overrules it all is that she also loves you and that's why you are her weakness because without you there is no Anna. She was her own person before she knew you but now that person is completely gone by your actions. Yes it made her stronger in the end but dude it's not healthy."

It was really hard to hear those words because he was right. I couldn't quite remember what kind of person I was before Harry and that was proven by the fact that when I looked into the mirror yesterday I was shocked to see myself. "She can come with us" I heard Harry mumble. He changed the subject and that hurt me more then I thought because he also knew that Liam was telling the truth. I didn't want to hear any longer so I pulled myself free from Niall and ran up to my room and changed my clothes. I pulled my hair into a messy bun when I heard my door being pushed open. "Anna?" I heard Harry say hesitantly. I sighed because I couldn't avoid him forever. "What do you want Harry?" I asked whilst stepping out of the bathroom. He looked a bit shocked when he saw the bruise on my face. He walked over to me but I stopped him before he could come to close. "I uhm.. wanted to tell you that you can come" He was surprised that I didn't want him to come closer. "Okay thank you, when do we leave?" I know I confused him with my business like manner.

"We haven't decided that yet but I was wondering if you would like to go into town?" My mouth fell open when he said that because I was simply surprised by this. "Why?" I couldn't help but ask for the reason and when he shrugged I instantly knew that this was a way to make it up to me but it was not going to work, the thing was that I really wanted to go outside. "Okay" I grabbed my vans and not much later we were outside and on our way.
