Struggle - H.S.

A new country, a new city and a new school. I never wanted to move to England but of course my parents did. Although I'm not in highschool anymore I do still live with my parents.
I'm attending uni in September. I will be attending Oxford but I wont live in dorms.

You probably already guessed were I'm going to live the next few years. Yes you would be correct. I'm going to live with my family near the campus because sadly enough Oxford will be the place my dad will be working as a history professor.

And no I will not be attending his classes. I will follow the course English Language and Literature because I want to be a writer and I also will be attending the music department because I love to play the piano and this will give me an opportunity to develop my music skills.

I'm excited though, even if I miss my friends to study at the famous Oxford. I cant wait for the semester to start, it will be tough though because I don't know anyone. I didn't even got the chance to meet my new neighbors yet but maybe that's because we just moved here yesterday and I haven't really got the time to go explore my neighborhood.

It was a fancy neighborhood and this house we were living in wasn't too bad either, wait who am I kidding it's absolutely beautiful and my room, is something completely out of this world, I'm in love with it already.

My room is massive and it looks out over the garden, which is huge by the way and I've got a little balcony. This summer will be amazing and a bit sad as well because I do have to miss my friends but this room and it's view do make up for it a little bit, I mean I can do my homework from my balcony and I can write, which probably will give me a lot of inspiration. The only thing that is missing is a nice little table and a chair on it.

That will come in time because I still need to unpack my belongings. I have a beautiful dark wooden canopy bed, with curtains just like in Disney movies and I got a lovely rug, which feels so soft under my feet. It's burgundy red and I forgot to mention that I also have a little fireplace and in front of that fireplace I've got 2 chairs and a little table and around it I've got my books, well I still need to unpack them but I am already seeing it. It's so romantic and in the corner I have a small desk with my MacBook and my docking station for my iPhone.

I have a little walk in closet, which is still empty but that's because I haven't unpacked my things yet and I have my own little bathroom. It has a bath and shower, how lucky am I?
I forgot to introduce myself didn't I? Well my name is Anna Jude Lewis. I'm 19 years old and I'm an American. I lived in Manhattan Beach and our house was right next to the beach and I already am missing my surfing time, I surfed every morning, if there were waves that is.

I love to read, play the piano and I love watching movies. My friends would say I love to dissect movies and that I'm a pain in ass to watch a movie with, especially horror movies, which is weird because I'm absolutely terrified of the paranormal and with that I'm talking about ghosts and demons. I don't believe in god but my family does and I respect that but I don't attend church with them on a Sunday. My parents accept that I'm more a Darwin believer or follower and they don't mind but I can't talk about it in the house and that's fine with me.

I wasn't tall but I would call myself average and I was skinny but not too skinny though. I had grey eyes and freckles all over my face and to be honest I really liked them. It was my signature thingy and my hair was dark blond and has a medium length. I had straight hair but I like to curl it a bit. I love jeans and jumpers and I love to wear my vans. I also wear glasses except for when I go out.
