Never Let You Go {Book 2}

Harry and I sat and sat for at least an hour and a half before a nurse came out to let us know what was happening.

“Party for Niall Horan” the nurse calls out

Harry and I stand and follow the nurse into a small consultation room, which I don’t know why we were the only ones in the waiting room seeing it was five in the morning.

“Niall has suffered severe damage to his liver due to all the liquor he has consumed. We also had to pump his stomach of all the continents. He is now going to be put into an intensive care room and be on a 72 hour suicide watch. He took a massive amount of Vicodin and Morphine pills.” The nurse explains

Tears are rolling down both Harry and I faces

“Is..Is he going to be ok though?” I ask my voice catching

“It’s hard to tell, his liver and kidneys had a hard night but with the help of the medications and sometime resting he should be ok in a few weeks to a month.” She says

We walk back out to sit in the waiting room until its ok for us to see Niall in his recovery room. I take this time to give Maura a call while Harry calls the rest of the boys. We’ve decided to not even inform Natty seeing this is her fault anyways.

“Hi Maura, its Cassie” I say

“Cassie love how are things?” she asks

“Well it’s Niall.. he.. he’s in the hospital” I say giving her a minute

“What? Why?”

“He found out Natasha has been cheating on him and he started drinking. He called me at 3:30 this morning crying hysterically having an anxiety attack. I could hear him vomiting and him asking for me to come see him. When I got to his hotel there were empty liquor bottles everywhere. I found him on the bathroom floor passed out and not breathing, he had also swallowed a massive amount of Vicodin and Morphine pills. Nobody knows why he did it, he actually just got out of surgery. The nurse says his liver and kidneys have some significant damage and they had to pump his stomach. Maura I’m so sorry, Harry and I are still here waiting to see him. I was just calling you to see if there was anything you wanted me to do?” I ramble on

“Cassie love I’m packing a bag now and will be there as soon as I can. Please keep me posted on what’s happening with my baby” she says

“I will Maura, see you soon” I say as we hang up the phone

Harry and I finally get to go back to see Niall. We tell the rest of the boys to stay home but they didn’t want to so they decided to go to Harry and I room at the hotel and wait for us to come back. I love how when things go bad they stay together.

“He’s going to be out of it for the rest of the day, the doctor wants to keep him sedated for a while to let his liver and kidneys heal” the nurse says

Harry and I decide to go back to the hotel. We arrive to our room full with the presence of the other boys, even Taylor and Louis came. We explain to them what the nurse has said and that Niall probably won’t be coherent until tomorrow at least. But I’m still going to call and check on him though. Just because Niall and I aren’t together doesn’t mean I don’t still care for is well being.

“Harry” I say lying next to him in our overly crowed bed

“Yes love” he says

“What happens if Niall dies from this?” I ask

“Cassie, you can’t think like that. Ni will be fine the doctor said they are keeping him sedated and giving him medications to help with the damage to his organs. He’s a fighter and will be alright” Harry says

“Ok” I say as I drift off to sleep
