Love At First Type ~ COMPLETED

Meetings

Harry strolled lazily into the coffee shop just three minutes after eight. He glanced around casually noticing that the shop was almost completely empty except for one girl in the corner. He started to sweat rapidly through his palms, nervousness creeping deep into the far corners of his soul.

‘Easy, Harry. You can do this,’ he mentally encouraged himself. Straightening out his coat first, he casually walked over to the table where the postured woman was sitting up straight blithely reading a thick novel.

As Harry neared the edge of the table, the girl with brown hair didn’t refrain from reading her book. Harry stood there, unsure of what to say. First impressions are always the worst when under pressure.

“Hello. Are you just going to stand there, or are you going to sit down?” the girl didn’t move her eyes, sensing Harry’s presence. Harry gulped down the lump in the back of his throat as he slid into the booth seat across from her.

Sighing, the girl closed her book and set it down on the table. Her eyes finally met Harry’s, growing wider by the second. Harry stared back, unamused and questioning at the girl’s sudden change in expression.

“Oh my God… You’re Harry Styles!” she gasped, covering her mouth in shock at the pop icon sitting in front of her.

Harry’s eyes also widened. ‘Shoot. A crazed fan… What do I do? I have to get out of here before I get bombarded in questions….’ Harry mentally started panicking. The unnamed girl cleared her throat, straightening out her shirt as well.

“Um… Sorry about that. I’m Morgan,” she offered her hand which Harry vigilantly accepted.

“I guess you already know who I am, then…” Harry said questionably, though he could tell by her outburst of his name that she already did. Morgan nodded her head slowly. “So you’re a fan?”

“Yeah, and I must say, of all the people who came here today, I cannot believe that it’s you.” Her eyes glistened as she spoke; her mouth hung open in awe, gawking over his presence. “I’m very curious. Why is Harry Styles using an Internet dating website?”

“Um… the rest of the boys are trying to convince me to move on,” he spoke calmly.

“From Leanna?”

“Well, if you must know, then yes. I’m trying to move on from her, and they are convinced that this website is supposed to help me.”

Morgan stifled back laughter. “You’re not at all like I had imagined you to be. Every other fan has persuaded me that you’re a happy, normal guy, but you’re not. You seem so broken, and misunderstood.”

Harry thought back to his first impression of her, but realized that what people say is true; you can’t always judge someone by their cover. Morgan was different from other fans.

“I’m no open book. Most people just assume that being a popstar has all its perks, that nothing can tear apart their self-esteem, but they’re all wrong. You can’t just base me off of what you’ve heard.”

“I know, and I hate to be the one to break it to you, but I’m more of a Liam girl.” She whispered the last part so that the rest of the now swarming coffee shop couldn’t hear. “I don’t want to be the one to break your heart and fall for your band mate if we ever go out.”

Harry sighed, “At least you told me before that could have happened.”

Morgan smiled. “Well it was really nice to meet you in person and all, but I need to get to work soon.”

As she got up to leave, Harry did something that he knew would be chancy. “Wait!” he shouted at her, gathering his coat closer together and running toward the flying door to catch her.

“Yeah?”

“Um… You seem like a genuinely nice girl, so I was thinking that maybe you’d like to meet the rest of the band?” Harry asked coolly.

“Are… are you serious?” Morgan held a hand to her chest in a shocked manner. Harry nodded. “Absolutely! Here, I’ll give you my number.”

Taking out a pen, she wrote her number down on a napkin and handed it to him. She smiled widely, thanking him for everything before heading off to work with a new skip in her step.

“I’m here; I’m here. Did I miss anything?” Harry rushed into the boardroom where the meeting was being held. The group of people, some unknown to Harry, turned to look at the panting man standing in the doorway.

“Ah, Harry, not at all. Take a seat; we’re just about to start,” Simon gestured to a seat at the end of the long table next to Liam. Harry shook off his coat before taking his seat.

“How’d it go?” Liam whispered as Harry took his seat.

“I’ll tell you guys later,” Harry replied.

Simon cleared his throat before beginning his speech. “Now, boys. As you all know, you haven’t been the closest during these past few years or so. Therefore, management and I have created this hometown tour as sort of a pick-me-up tour. I will have Paul explain all the details to you, so please save your questions until the end.”

Paul arose from his seat, taking stance next to a map of England and Ireland. Various pins and sticky notes stuck to the presentation bored.

“Right, then. I’d like to start with the fact that I am happy to be your tour manager once again, even though you boys can be a serious pain.” The small staff laughed at Paul’s remark.

"Down to business, we will start the tour off in Mullingar, Niall’s hometown. We, of course will be flying you there where you will stay a week in Niall’s old home.” Niall smiled secretly rejoicing that he would get to be home first of the tour.

“And, just to be clear, we have contacted all of your families, and they have all agreed to let you stay with them. They really like this whole concept of you guys becoming closer again as a band.

“Then, we will fly you back to England, where we will begin in Bradford. Each stay will be a week with three concerts occurring in each of your hometowns. From there, we will move on to Doncaster, Wolverhampton, Holmes Chapel, and finally back to London. All song details, wardrobe, and such will be handled with through your other teams. Any questions?”

“Um… yes. Are we performing in London as well?” Louis perplexed.

Simon answered for him. “Well, boys. You’ve been living in London for quite some time now, so we thought it best if we had you perform here. London isn’t technically your home, but it looks to have become like one, and this is a hometown tour.”

“Indeed,” Paul said. “Any other questions before we move into the bigger details?”

A long, and detailed, five hours later, the boys finally had permission to leave. They had gotten numberless scoldings on what to-do and what not-to-do. The boys didn’t argue with any of it though, not that they were even listening.

“Finally, that’s over. I’m starving,” Niall groaned rubbing his stomach.

“Niall, they fed us lunch like two hours ago; it’s not even dinner time yet,” Zayn told him.

“Well, what are we going to do for dinner tonight?”

The boys thought about it for a while before an idea cam to Louis. His idea may not be the best idea to most, but an idea is an idea.

“It’s Wednesday lads, and you all know what that means…”

Harry’s eyes widened. “No, absolutely not. Are you absurd Louis? We can’t go there.”

“Come on, Harold. It will be fun. Besides, it was our tradition before it became her favorite Wednesday habit. It will be just like old times. Am I right, lads?” Louis predicted.

“Yeah! I miss pizza night!” Liam agreed to the nostalgia of old tradition. He turned to Harry. “Maybe you can invite that girl-”

“I can’t bring another girl to pizza night! It wouldn’t be the same,” Harry divulged.

“So you’ll come?” Niall pouted out his lip and folded his hands together under his chin. The other lads joined in plead as they nonstop pleaded Harry.

“Alright I’ll go, but don’t expect me to sing or anything.”

“We won’t push it as long as you spill all the details of your coffee date this morning,” Louis added.

Harry acquiesced to his request. “Well, she’s a lovely girl. Morgan is her name. She’s a fan of us too… Her favorite is Liam, though, but I told her she could meet you guys,” Harry hinted at Liam.

“We set him up to get himself a girl, and here he is trying to get me a girlfriend. All I have to ask is… Is she pretty?” The boys laughed at Liam’s sudden cheekiness.

“Yup.”

“Hey, Ryan! Look who finally made their back!” a guy called as the boys walked into the quaint pizza/bar. The boys smiled at the guy.

“Jimmy! It’s great to see you around here still,” Niall bro hugged the masculine man known as Jimmy. The boys followed in this fashion.

“Well, well, well… If it isn’t One Direction. Where are your girls? Or did you all go single since I’ve last seen you?” another guy walked in.

“Nah. Perrie and Eleanor are doing work things,” Louis announced. “It’s great to see this place still booming.”

“It’s great to see you lads back here. Are any of you going to sing tonight?” Ryan asked.

“What is pizza/karaoke night without any karaoke?” Zayn retorted.

“Preach it, Zayn! All right, you guys are welcome to take that booth over there. Did you want the usual?” Jimmy questioned.

“You know it! Thanks, Jim!”

The five made their way over to the empty booth close to the back, but with a good view of the stage. Everywhere, people were laughing with friends and enjoying their night. The boys said hello to some old friends of the tradition on their way before they finally took their seats. Louis, Zayn, and Niall sat on one side, whereas Harry and Liam took up the other side of the booth.

“I’m going to go sign up to sing. Anyone want to join me?” Zayn asked.

“I’ll go later. The rest of you can go,” Louis announced. Liam, Niall, and Zayn scooted their way out of the booth once more as they made their way to the sign up sheet.

Harry and Louis sat silently across from each other allowing for the moderate sounds of music to fill the void. Louis sighed and leaned his head back with his hands to support it.

“This place brings back a lot of memories, doesn’t it Haz?”

“Uh… yeah… a- a lot of… memories,” Harry stumbled over his words.

“Look, I know this isn’t the ideal place for you to be going to, but you have to admit that we all missed this place. Even you, no matter what your obligations may deny.”

Memories started to flow freely before Harry’s eyes. The nonexcessive flashing lights, the cheery crowd, the drunken karaoke singles. It all seemed so surreal that Harry was actually sitting here in this wondrous place. This place… it was a dream, yet a nightmare at the same time.

A good handful of the other characters are YouTubers playing themselves, but there aren't any specific people who play the rest of the characters like Leanna. It's all up to your imagination really.

Who plays the other characters like leanna and the rest?
