Chapter 30. chapter part 2
Layla's POV.
I'm sitting in the yard behind the house and angrily throwing dry leaves under my feet. I don't know why I got mad, in fact I know, but I don't know why I'm angry like this. I couldn't expect after a couple of words from him to become what she was. But I still did. I expected him to say that he accept me as me. And at the same time I didn't think about the relationship or something, but as a friend. He showed me that he actually saw me last month as someone to replace her. Someone who will go with him around so he could tell how he had forgotten about her but in fact I will be the new she. Will he force me to paint the hair so I could looks like her?
"Layla, fortunately you're here. I've almost give up from searching for you." I heard panting Harry's voice behind me. I knew that soon he will fill the empty seat next to me. By the time he sat down I sighed and threw leaves away.
"Are you alright?''
"Do I look like I am? '' I ask irritably.
"I not really. You more seem like you're going to kill someone." I hear a giggle, but my facial expression didn't change.
"Look, I know that Zayn is little clumsy with these stuff. He sometimes say stupid things because he can't express himself in a right way."
"Tell me about it. '' I interrupted him and rolled my eyes.
"But whatever he said he didn't meant it. Hee just misspoke. Believe me."
"Yes. He misspoke, but I understood it quite well."
"You're wrong and overreacting. ''
"I don't think so.", I answer and look into the distance, trying to calm down and to forget about all the bad things. But it's hard as Harry continued to defend him, and inside me there is a growing anger. Why is he a mediator between us? That jerk couldn't be come here for me and apologize? Say that he misspoke. But of course, he sends his friend.
"Harry, come on and say that you came to defend him, so you can go because I don't want to hear it!"
'' I'm not here to defend him! I don't know why you'd think that, but I'm just trying to show you what I see. And that is that there is something between the two of you. You're didn't decide to go with us, to save us only because of us. Zayn was one of the reasons, isn't he? ''
I took a breath and smiled, nodding my head slowly. How did he get it? I never said that, but it seems to me that Harry reads me very well. Zayn was one of the main reasons of why I decided to go with them. Partly because I got angry and upset becouse of him, and partly because I wanted to be close to him.
''If you both feel something then I don't see why would you continue to push and run away from each other? And I know that you feel something and don't make that face. '' He laughed and I shook my head. Harry starts to say something, but a cell phone interrupts him. He answers and I understand it's Annie. He rolls his eyes and hung up, and then turns to me.
''An ...''
'' Annie called you. '' I've finished his sentence
''Yes. He want me to appear in her office. '' I feel that me something vibrates in my pocket and take out a cell phone and answered. And she said the same thing to me. What happened?
'' I must go. ''
'' Harry, can you drive me, too? I don't want to go with him. '' He frowned, but when I gave him a puppy face he nodded. I don't know what Annie wants, but I know that I don't want to be with Zayn in the same room, but I have to.
