How I saved One Direction

I didn't know what to say to his words. I was surprised because the conversation went in this direction. I should have shown hand to him because I didn't hurt myself.
''You think I feel, but not you. You can't tell me that you have feelings for me because you two nights ago you cried because of your ex-girlfriend. ''
'' So, you feel something. '' I rely on the kitchen cabinet and look at him, my facewas expressionless.
'' Do you see some feelings there? ''
'' You said that. Look, Perrie should stay in the past, and that won't happen until someone replace her. '', he said picking up the glass.
'' So, you suggest me to be her replacement? To be Perrie number two. And what then leads you to the conclusion that we will not end up the same if I will be her copy? '', I ask resentful and angry. It's not only that he doesn't want me for me, but I he needs me to play his little blonde. Well, he made a mistake. My hair is almost black and I'm not like her!
'' I didn't mean that. I dont want you to be like her than to try with you to prove that she is past. Damn, I expressed wrongly what I wanted to say, again. ''
'' Maybe you should stop to trying to express yourself? Anyway, with every word you sink deeper. '' I turned around and got out of the kitchen before he could stop me. Why do I always fall in love with fools who don't care for me?


Zayn's POV


When she get out I throw all the glass furiously on the floor and pull the chair. How stupid of me! I don't even know how to tell what I want! I just want this nightmare to finish and to see light. But the light is nowhere to be found. And that little ray, which appeared in the darkness just went because of me, of course. I messed up everything in seconds. Why didn't I just said that I want to be with her, and not to take revenge on Perrie?
'' What happened ... with Layla? '', Harry came into the kitchen with a worried expression.
'' She's mad at me. '' I said.
'' What the hell you did again Zayn?! '', he shouted angrily and kicked the glass. I don't know why he cares and why he's trying so hard around her. Even when we came here a few months ago he defended her. Well, he doesn't have to do it now because I'm not the same asshole anymore. Maybe I am, but now I look at her much different, so there is no need to play the knight for her.
'' How many times do I have to say that you can't treat her like that? ''
''How? You weren't even there! How do you know it was my fault? ',' I ask irritably.
'' I know because you are. It's always your fault. Why do you ha ... ''
''No! I know what you're going to say and no. I don't hate her. I started to like her. But I don't know how to express myself because she told me that because of the damned journalist wants to be friends with me. Just friend! Again my career is what is standing on my way. Again due popularity I'm losing important people! And if I went it wouldn't have happened. I would be a normal person and everything would be fine. ''

'' She's the one who stopped you Zayn. Don't you remember? '' I nodded, remembering everything. Every single moment of last couple of months.
'' That's why it takes time. You have to convince her that you're not the same person as then. And the speech of earlier would only confirm that you are.''
'' What do you suggest? ''
''Time. Let the time to solve everything. You are trying, but the time is a key detail. ''
'' Thank you. '', I grumbled and stand up. I'll wait for
time to do a miracle because I don't know what else to do.
