How I saved One Direction

My hand traveled on sofa seeking for Zayn. However, he was gone. I opened my eyes and looked around. He's nowhere to be seen. Last night we spoke but now he's gone. I wonder if he's angry?
I took out my cell phone. Ten missed calls and five messages.Irolled my eyes and open my first. It's from Annie.

* Are you normal? You must come to Syco Records now! *

This one is two hours old. Now is nine. This woman really gets up early. The second message is also from Annie. I rolled my eyes again and open it.

* Layla, immediately go on twitter and clean up the mess you two made. Tell Zayn to
tweet something, don't know but solve it. *

With a quick flick of the finger I opened the next, and the next until the last. All have the same content. Well approx. I get up and go to the kitchen. Zayn's sitting on a chair and eating a sandwich. He didn't look at me when I entered. Is he already forgotten last night?

I pour myself a glass of water and drink it. When I put it down I turn to him. He gets up after he finished eating and I take a cookie.
'' We need to go to Syco Records. Annie seems to be angry. '', I told him.
'' I'll wait you in the car. ''

That was all he said before he got out. Okay. I quickly climb up to my room and comb my hair, brush my teeth and then I took my jacket and went down.
I'm surprised he's in the car when I get out. Maybe he realized that it is better to try to be good with me for this year. After I sit down he turned on the car and I prepared my nerves for what follows.

During the drive I looked calls. One was from my mum and one from Ali. All the others were from Annie. Probably all are angry and they'll fired me. And I'm didn't even withstood a month.
When we entered the office, Annie's sat on one and Simon on the other chair. I swallow and frightened look in Zayn. But he sits normally, although he wasn't offered.
'' Sit down. '', Simon tells me.
'' Thank you. '', I murmured and sit down.
'' You can probably guess why we're all here. Your behavior yesterday was completely inexcusable! Hugging in the public just like that! Outrageous! '', Annie yelled, throwing her hands on the air so effect of the drama was complete.
''Come down. I was drunk and she took me home. Aren't you sent her? ''
I looked at him in surprise. How does he know that Annie sent me? Unless he didn't dig trough the phone. Well, I'll ask him later.
'' I think there is no need for so much drama. It doesn't have to be bad. ''
We all looked at Simon as if he was speaking Spanish. I think I'd understand him better if he'd really spoke spanish because I really don't understand him now.
''Well, let's turn it to our advantage. Already six months they talk bad about Zayn. Fans realize that he's out of control and they're angry. I don't know whether you read the messages on twitter but I did. ''
'' Come on Simon. I'm not bad. I'm perfectly. ''
'' Yeah, really. The main thing is that I've came up with the idea and you will have to cooperate. Among the messages that I've read was a lot of with a similar content. And that gave me an idea. '', he said a little bit shrewdly. Why am I afraid of his idea?''

'' What? '', Zayn asked.

My jaw dropped on the floor in disbelief. What did he say? Fans wants us to be together? Aren't thay supposed to be angry and hate me? Where are themessages of death? My ''date'' with Harry?
'' That's the dumbest idea I ever heard. Fans will get mad. '', Annie shouted. For the first time, I agree with this thought. I don't want them to hate me when they don't know me.
'' I do not agree with that. Zayn? '' I just realised that he was silent almost all the time. He didn't say anything
'' I agree. '', he said and looked at me. I returned him glance shocked. He said what?
'' What? '', I shouted before I was aware of and looked into the other. Is he joking? It's not funny at all.
