Niall’s POV
‘’Shh.. Daddy’s right here, bud.’’ I try to calm the baby down, but it wasn’t working exactly right. Jana was asleep and so was Tori, Taylor was almost there. They were all on the bed while I paced around the room trying to get Tristan to calm down.

‘’C’mon babe, please be quiet for Daddy. Shh.. Shh.’’ I try again and again, but nothing works. There were a few knocks on the door, and I knew I couldn’t yell because I’d get bitched at if I work one of them up and plus the baby would get worse if I raised my voice over anything but a whisper.

Okay, a little dramatic, but still.

I open the door to see a face I didn’t really want to see at the moment, but yet I gestured him in anyways. The other face, however, was acceptable, because she was normal.

‘’Hey.’’ Selena mumbles as she goes over to the couch and sits down beside Harry. ‘’How long they been asleep?’’ Harry asks softly. ‘’An hour, maybe.’’ I shrug as I put the pacifier in the baby’s mouth before continuing to slowly pace, just trying to keep him and myself calm.

‘’Hey, can I talk to you.. in the hall, Niall?’’ Selena asks as she stands up. She didn’t look too pleased at the moment. ‘’Uh, yeah. Har-.. nevermind.’’ I mumble, shaking that thought away as I go to the door.

I’d trust my baby with a guy on the streets before I trust him with Harry. I’m kidding, but still, this baby isn’t even a day old yet, and Harry’s stupid so yeah. If you put two and two together, it makes a LOT of sense..

Selena and I were in the hallway now, the door shut. It was nice and quiet out here, I liked it so far, well until she started to talk. ‘’What’s up with you?’’ She sighs out. ‘’What do you mean?” I ask, furrowing my eyebrows lightly.

‘’You know what I mean. Earlier Jana sent me a text saying that you were in one of your moods, so what’s wrong?’’ Selena was being serious, I could tell. Her hand was on her waist and her head was tilted, her eyes watching my every move.

Just like Jana, and any other woman, would do.

‘’I.. I just.. I don’t know, okay. I just don’t fucking know.’’ I sigh out, the complete truth. ‘’You got her thinking you hate her. That’s what she told me. She said that you hate her and the kids and that you’ll probably up and leave by tomorrow.’’ Selena says.

‘’You know I wouldn’t do that. She knows I wouldn’t do that. And no, I don’t hate them. I never could.’’ I admit. ‘’Well you need to get in there and apologize. She’s feeling like its her fault. And I’m sick of you two fighting every other day, and I’m sure everyone else is too.’’ Selena tells me.

‘’I know.. I.. I don’t try to be.. so.. mean.. Sometimes.. its just.. comes out and I don’t.. catch the things.. I say until its too late..’’ I sigh, mentally beating myself up.

‘’I know. It happens to everyone. But Niall, I’m dead serious okay. I love you and Jana and the kids like you were my family, okay? You guys know that. And I want what’s best for you. And I don’t want to have to attend a court trail just to watch you two suffer through a divorce, so don’t be stupid.'' She sighs.

''Fix your act, watch your damn mouth and actually remind Jana that you love her, okay? I’m sorry if I sound like a mother or whatever, but I just care.’’ Her eyes dart to mine then to Tristan, then to the floor.

Jana’s POV
‘’Aye, baby?’’ I heard Niall’s voice say. I stirred a little, not wanting to open my eyes at all or for any reason at all. ‘’Don’t wake up.. just listen.’’ He sighs out. I felt the bed dip down a little, then I felt his hand on my thigh, his face was close to mine because I could smell the mint and I could feel it.

‘’I love you okay.. so much. You know that, with all of my heart. I love you. And I’m sorry for being a bitch or whatever. I just, it’s the pressure and all. I’m sorry okay, I hope you forgive me. I love you. Everything’s being taken care of at the moment, so just rest for a little bit.’’ He pauses for a second.

‘’Tor and Taylor went for a walk with Harry, and Tristan’s in the basinet sleeping. And as for me, I’m just waiting to see your pretty eyes again. But take your time, you deserve it more than I ever will.’’

I smile gently, and I know he saw it because he leaned down and smiled slightly against my lips before leaving a peck on my lips and leaning up.

‘’Love you pretty girl.’’ I felt his hand touch my cheek, and before I knew it, I was fully asleep again and he was gone from the side of the bed.
